I took taxi to Montigo resort from batam center. It’s a long way travel around an hour but there’s no traffic. Arrived the place at 2pm and was catered immediately with welcome drinks. I was told that check in is at 3pm so I walked around and booked a spa treatment at 4pm. When I came back at 3pm I’m already exhausted coz of the heat and disappointed that I need to wait another hour for the room to be clean. I walked back to the spa villa for my treatment and check in at 6pm. I was hoping for a restful day that turned out to be stressful. In the other hand I would like to thank Ms. Angela for arranging the ferry timing and Ajis for his great service.

Great service.Staffs are friendly and efficient.My son had fun playing the UTV.The person in charge (Lintang) service was excellent.He shared his experience and spared time to perform stunt with my boy and guiding us with archery skills.We had great experience on this trip.Thank you,Montigo.😊

me n friend stayed at room 1202. very spacious room and bathroom. we had our own private pool too. only bad thing is that the table and chair is alongside with the tv so if you want to sit on the chair to watch tv u have to move the furniture. glad tht the table and chairs are not too heavy to handle. no sofa in the room though. from the pool there is a good view of the sea. the bathroom sewage is not working well so the bathroom is flooded after each bath. dental kit is upon request. wherever you want to go, just call for the buggy service. they come real fast so make sure you are all ready before calling. we like the tadd restaurant and had grill buffet for 2 nights. the grilled sotong + prawn (you can request to have its shell removed) + beef + fish are all very nice. went to sing karaoke. only 2 rooms and songs are not latest but not bad. have Korean , English, Chinese, Japanese songs too. for BTS fans, you can find run, fire, dna from the song list (to name the more recent song title). breakfast does not interest me much but u can find cereal and porridge section. the staff there are very friendly and nice. and they use WhatsApp to inform you when your room ia ready for you to check in. there is 3 restaurant + 1 cafe + 1 shop (souvenir & convenience store where u can get cup noodles too) went for the massage to have Indonesia massage for 90 mins. service is good and you can choose from 4 different essence. other than the price factor, overall this is where you can fully relax and chill place. will definitely be coming back again. ;) to those who want to buy some kueh lapis back, you can order at the batam layer cake shop at the nongsa ferry terminal. you can WhatsApp them your order and schedule for collection on the last day when you are departing from the terminal

Short getaway”

It was our second time there and yes we did have a relaxing time however the second villa we stayed in was not as well kept as the first time we went and there were quite a number of insects and baby cockroaches and a wasp. Would be best if they could maintain the upkeeping for each villa better esp the older ones. But despite that we still managed to have a short relaxing trip away. m

Wife’s birthday trip”

This is my first time staying in Montigo resort. The studio room was so big and clean and the view was really stunning. From the shuttle service (ferry terminal) to the arrival at resort, everything was perfect. One of the staff Mr Ben was very kind and helpful in assisting us in checking in the resort. He also shared some useful tips and info, and even help us to reserve the shuttle service to Nagoya Hill shopping mall (depart 10am and return 4pm while cost only 60k IDR per person). There were a lot buggy services to send you to any corner in the resort. The food that we tried (buffet breakfast @ Tadd, ala carte seafood dinner @ Pantai Restaurant and western lunch @ Tiigo) were delicious too. Definitely will come back again next time.

Good relaxation trip”

Everything is awesome except the Wii games are only for certain types of villa and we can't get a grab ride out. Have to use hotel's taxi which is alil more expensive. Everything else is perfect! The massage is good too!

We enjoyed our family vacation there. We stayed at 2-bedrooms Hill-side villa. The villa is spacious, clean & accessible around the resort with buggy. The kids love the private pool. Overall, the place is good but it is far from town. Anyway there are many taxi available for rental.

Could be the best resort in Batam!”

Our first time in Batam and we were so glad we chose Montigo as our stay. Service was impeccable. Food is decent and has lots of room for improvement. Furnishing is also rather used. Overall, still pretty good and highly recommended to others.

Beautiful villa”

The villa was very spacious with private pool. The pool is very clean, more than expected. However, the the sofa or some areas might need some maintenances. The staff is very friendly and attentive. One of my friends had her birthday there and the staff came to sing the happy birthday song for her with a cake. My friend was very touched. The food there was not as good as expected. We had one dinner in the restaurant and one in villa BBQ but the quality of the good might not worth it. Breakfast was just OK. We ended up cooking in the villa and enjoyed quite a lot. They provided all the tablewares, pot, and utensils when you requested, even the dish wash detergent and sponge. The SPA is pretty costly with 35% tax and 10% service charge but the service is good. The view and environment here are pretty good. We overall enjoyed a lot here. I would recommend having a vacation here and it is a really relaxing place.

The views of the resort was perfect! Nice resorts with friendly staffs, efficient buggy services. The Villa was spacious and luxury. We had a fantastic in-villa dining experience, the meal was delicious but abit pricey.

Good resort experience but service could be better given it’s 5* rating ”

Montigo resort is situated at Nongsa Bay, in a region in Batam which is relatively not developed yet. The big malls like Nagoya Hill and Batam Mega Mall are about 30-40 mins taxi ride which cost about 150k rupiah. Not much activities around the area. It has a rough costal region which does not have a proper beach. But has a board walk which extends into the sea. Stayed in a premier villa for 3D2N. The resort is well maintained considering that it is more than 5 years old. Clean and friendly staff. Also provide turn down service . With a nice pool in the villa which provides a great view of the sunset in every unit. However, the staff was clearly overwhelmed by the school holiday crowd ... especially during the breakfast period. Point to point travel within the resort needs to be serviced by buggy given the vast land area. Food choices are also limited Check out could be more efficient to allow self check out options.

Romantic & Lovely Paradise ”

I and my bf lives in Singapore and decided to check out this place because it's just an hr away. A shuttle bus is waiting upon arrival, we just approached the montigo counter and told them our reservation. After less than 10min ride, we checked in smoothly and sent out to our room villa right away. Yay!!! It was late and ordered the in house food which took at least 2 hrs to arrive as they claimed they haven't received the order. So lol! Food and beverages are pricey. But yea, it's a 5 star hotel/resorts. 😂 Downside only is -it's challenging to call the reception and the buggy takes 15-20min before it arrives! Overall experience was still awesome! We love the place and don't mind coming back once a year! Will recommend it to friends and fambam.

If you want to go for a relax place u should consider montigo resorts. The staffs are all so friendly and helpful, they really makes u feel like a king and a queen. However there are not much activities in the resorts though.

Free upgrade~”

Staff were super friendly and served us with wonderful smiles. During our trip, we even had a free upgrade. Resort was up to standard however as it requires some form of refurbishing to maintain their standards. Overall all it was a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Excellent service and hospitality ”

The staffs service and hospitality was simply amazing. They always have smiles on their faces and are so warm and welcoming. Was there on our honeymoon and they gave us a little surprise where they came to our villa and gave us a cake & sang a song for us. It really made our day. Brandon whom served us when we checked in was very helpful as well and helped us with everything. Thank you once again! We will definitely be back!

We stayed at Montigo Resort for one night only but we enjoyed every bit of it. We booked the premier villa, had our own private pool which is the highlight of the room. 😊 We arrived early and we only managed to check in around 1030am+.. Our room was only available at 3pm hence they offered a different villa, only without the bathtub but it's not a big deal to us so we accepted it so we can rest. The room is very spacious and clean.. But I only hope they have a sofa inside the room so it's easier to use their huge flat screen television. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely go back. Brandon, who assisted us, is very accomodating ang pleasant. He arranged a surprise for us since it's our anniversary. We were surprised to have the staff sang a love song for us and brought us a delicious cake.. It was indeed a great and memorable moment. Thank you Montigo for being a part of it. Also, the food at Tadd's is pretty good. 👌😊 They also gave us a photo of us as a souvenir prior to check out. Great place. Great food. Great Service!

Great place, terrible customer service except for the Manager on duty. When I went to play a game of bb gun/soft gun, there were no signs that it was a paid game. My friend assumed it was free and told me that in front of the staff. Turns out, each game was 80,000 rupiah. Staff conveniently did not correct us, nor tell us before the game. Called reception to clarify but was given an attitude and she kept interrupting me on the call. Super bad service.

the place is nice but it a bit far from the town. need to travel around 45 min to 1 hr by car. The view & weather is good. the staff was friendly. 1 > we are very disappointed with the restaurant foo, We eat at this place name Kelong seafood restaurant. 2> can put some more light at the swimming pool area. when it getting darker not able to seat out there. as it abit dark there.
