The key is the type that cannot be replicated, so if it's lost, the whole lock will be replaced. Please be careful!
*Please do not take the towels nor things with you. In case you did, you'll be charged the cost of these things.
*Japan will implement rules under Article 8, 36 of the housing accommodation business law, Article 7 of the enforcement regulation. Starting in 2018 all listings will have to be registered under the hotel law or a new law designed for sharing rooms and will have to collect Identity information thus will ask you to send a copy of your passport/driver's license. From March 15 this year we have to follow the Japan Law and on June the Law will take full effect.
In addition, we (Japan Hosts) have already received guidance and requests directly from the police authorities in Aichi Prefecture by installing and preserving above-mentioned identity confirmation materials, it's also for the hosts to verify identities of the guests for their own safety and convenience. No need for you to worry since all information will be confidential between the guests and the host. I would appreciate your understanding.
