For an old hotel - Novotel Jogja is quite good enough for us to stay and holiday, perhaps Novotel Jogja should fixed the escalator for stuff quickly, because it's already over a months broken and it sometimes makes your roomboy late to deliver our belonging..

Went there with my family. My children loved the swimming pool. The room is clean though a lil bit small. TV channel needs to be improved, so as the bathroom.

Good vintage hotel”

As somewhat quite old hotel, novotel jogja has its own history. Facilities was abundant, they have resort like swimming pool, gym and spa center. Unfortunately, the equipment has seen better days. We still find old phone on our room, and the interior was old. I hope they renovate the hotel, will definitely come back again.

We spent couple of nights for business trip. Great location, on not too busy main road. Lots of places to eat and have coffee. Also not too far from airport and the city center. The hotel is quite big, although not a new one, some furniture and bathroom fixtures needs to be refurbished. Shower head was not functioning well.

This hotel maybe old but it still look good and stay update, one of the rare is that it has quite big basement for parking area unlike those modern chic hotel with limited parking area, the pool and garden still look good, the staff stay young vibrant and helpful. Whoever said ... Naay it's a old hotel should shut up and experience staying here. This is a true 4 star hotel back then and still now

Bathtub not safety”

I got a rrom with the bthtub that is placed very high for indonesian peope, especially for parents and children, down fr the athtub there is no gandle to go down and the floor is slippery

Staff not vigilant for security (allowed stranger to collect our room card)”

We stayed 3 nights in the hotel and there were a lot of hiccups. On our first night, we were shocked that a random stranger had access to our room using a key card while we were asleep at 12 midnight. We checked with the reception and realised they just issued a key card to a random stranger who claimed to be staying in that room without verifying their identity. Luckily the random stranger was a Malay lady as we were all ladies. It was obvious and kept us puzzled as our booking was made under a Chinese name and the random stranger who was a Malay managed to obtain an access card for our room. On our third day, we were told that the hotel needs to do some maintenance work and we need to pack up and moved to another room which was pretty inconvenient. We had to make plans to go back to the hotel to pack all our stuff to move despite the fact that we were checking out the next morning. The hotel furnishing was pretty old and toilet bowl was leaking.
