Clean, value for money, great breakfast, fantastic staff”

All employees made you feel welcome and relaxed. Laughter between employees aided enjoyment. We stayed for a week and were very pleased. Only fall down was the location. If travelling alone, I wouldn’t feel comfortable walking on my own. Many Tuk Tuk’s in the direct area.

Brilliant ”

A++++++++ The only thing that let the Hotel down was the food in the restaurant,( only ate there once but that was enough) Saying that the breakfast buffet was fantastic with very accommodating staff, also the Sky bar staff especially the girl with the lovely smile deserve a mention (very girl friendly, reception staff took there ID card and rang you in the morning to make sure everything was ok before giving them it back)

In the room dont have adapter for electric change from 3 legs to 2 legs. Men staff was nice with smiling but the lady at the morning time was not good face, always look like in bad mood.

The only problem I had with this hotel was the breakfast , constantly asking for replenishment of food and crockery,the coffee machine takes for ever to deliver a drink, and staff stand around when tables need clearing and food replenishing

Breakfast is normal. Comes w Asian or Continental style. Location is definitely not like riverside where u can find food n drinks everywhere. Most shops in the surrounding are textile shops where you can have ur shirts tailored. The staffs are the surely the best asset to Orussey One Hotel. They really take care of their residents and always willing to go an extra mile. Thumbs up! Surely will return again!

Best Stay in Phnom Penh”

we tried other hotel with good review on Agoda but it was far to compare with Orussey One. This hotel was more than our expectation, we booked for Family Suite Room, got upgraded to Family VIP suite with bathtub. Staff were always polite and attentive. Great choices of breakfast, their restaurant menu is also good and affordable, we love the pao buns! Housekeeping staff often forgets to put dry towel / refill the toilet paper but that wasn't a problem at all, they'll deliver right after you call. Rooftop pool & bar is not big but good size and entertaining enough for spending afternoon time at the hotel, overlooking the busy city. Location is pretty good. The only bad experience we've had was on the last night of our stay, guest on neighbouring room was partying loudly and moved around furnitures on midnight hour. We didn't bother to call the management desk because we had to fly very early in the morning.

One of the best value hotels in PP”

Really enjoyed my stay here. Decent location, yet a 10 to 15 min walk to the riverside. Friendly staff. Room was very spacious, clean and modern. Large flat screen TV with fast wi-fi throughout the hotel. Best feature is the rooftop swimming pool and bar, with views over the entire city.

Very good hotel ”

We booked into the deluxe double city view rooms and the view was great especially at night when the thunderstorms hit. The staff was very friendly especially on the rooftop bar and pool. It can get very muggy on the roof under the covered area and sometimes I had to remind the staff to turn on the ceiling fan to circulate the air there. Upon arrival I had requested a hotel transfer from the airport, our flight was delayed and the driver just left the airport although he had or flight information and was standing in front of the flight info screen. I called the hotel and they asked me to take a taxi to the hotel and when I did they covered the taxi fare without being asked to. I was very much impressed by this action. I would stay with them again. The one downside is there is only one elevator and it can be very slow so often you are waiting 5 minutes to get down from the roof or up from the lobby.

Central Location in Phnom Pehn”

Good location on Street 111 a stone throw from Orussey Market and street shops, walking distance about 20 mins to central market. About 30 mins walk to the Genocide Museum. Lots of Tuk tuk outside hotel to take to go anywhere you want. Hotel comes with breakfast which is good to start to the day, eggs of your choice, bacon, sausages, salad,bread and they also have traditional cambodian noodle soup etc. Rooftop pool is small but good to relax after day out sightseeing and comes with a excellent view. I will definitely stay here on my next trip to Cambodia.

Perfect stay in Phnom Penh & very affordable”

Looks like a new hotel. Rooms are big, clean, well equipped with all we need & good air conditioner. Staff at reception & restaurant are very friendly and helpful. Centrally located, close to shops, Orussey market & street foods. Not to far, about 20-30 minute walk to the Grand Palace & river front but walking and crossing the streets of Phnom Penh can be hazardous, not advisable. Much safer to take tuk tuk. Highly recommended hotel since its very affordable with all the expectations tourists would look for.

Good 3 night stay!”

We enjoyed using the gym and swimming pool located on the rooftop terrace. The swimming pool was a bit smaller than it looked on the photos but it was clean and it wasn't too busy. Only a couple of sun loungers and 3 trendy wicker chairs to lounge on but there is not much room for any more. Gym equipment is good. Noticed a few people utilising the steam room. Rooms are clean and comfortable but you can hear noise from other rooms so maybe the walls are thin. Not much around the local vicinity but a $ 3 tuk tuk ride across town. We thought breakfast was good but they are not set up at 06,00 hrs as advertised. We had a taxi booked for 06:30 and it wasn't fully set up then. Overall good value for the price we paid. Reception staff were exellent.

Great value for money with gym & pool on roof top”

For what you pay this hotel has plenty of positives if you are looking for those added extras that include breakfast which was the usual western / Asian buffet with egg station and help yourself coffee / tea (so no stingy one cup policy). The gym & pool on the top floor are a massive bonus - gym had all the basic stuff which largely worked and it was great working out looking over the surrounding area. Rooms were average size with a shower cubicle - yes you could hear what your neighbour was doing in their bathroom but a minor negative. Staff very friendly and the tuk tuk drivers that hung outside hotel were a friendly bunch. Another massive bonus was the Royal India restaurant 30 metres from hotel - fantastic home cooked Pakistani food which was very tasty & reasonably priced.

Good hotel, walking distance to Russian Market”

Only stayed in one of the very basic rooms for 1 night, was more than sufficient. Well equipped, the rooms are rather small but no big deal. The bathroom is quite small and you can hear the next room in there, but that also isn't really a huge problem. Check-in and check-out were fast and fuss free. Breakfast buffet is quite small but really sufficient: bacon, eggs, bread, vegetables, fruits, rice porridge, noodles... I'd definitely come back again if I need to stay in that area.

Top new hotel, not so central but great value for money”

We could not believe what we got for our money. Roof top pool with steam bath and sauna and modern gym. The rooms brand new, top matresses, cabel tv. All guests have a smile in there face. It is a bargain. The hotel just opened. Nice breakfast area with view over the street. Central Bus have there office 100m away if you need cheap transport everywhere. Dont miss to go to Restaurant Mama across the street. The owner is archeologist and Professor. Talk to him. Meals between 2-4$. Try the couscous.

Awful experience what a shame ”

Honestly the worst experience now I’ve ever had at an hotel. This was the 3rd hotel we stayed at Turing our travels and the 1st of 3 in Phnom Penh. The management at crooks and will attempt scams to try and get extra money out of you. It’s a shame as the breakfast was lovely and the front desk, restaurant and other staff we came across were lovely. We have to cut our 13 day stay short and leave after 8 days. I wanted to leave sooner but they would let me leave and receive my refund even though I was entitled to. In summary this is a run down hotel not with the price you pay per night in a quite are of Phnom Penh with horrible management and I would avoid it as there are lots of other options.

Staff were excellent and friendly. They loved our children and were happy to help us with anything we needed without expecting a tip. Location was excellent and Tuk-tuks to anywhere around the city was around $3US. Airport Transfer with the hotels van was only $5! (from hotel to Airport) Rooftop pool was a great view. Only thing I could fault with the hotel was that there was only 1 small lift, but a second lift is currently under construction.

Clean room but old ”

Rooms were clean but furniture were old. Bfast had a noodle station and spread was basic. Walking distance to Orussey Market. Gym was useful. Pool was small but ok.

Everything was great except lift. Had only one lift which was pretty slow. Would also appreciate more varieties for the buffet breakfast. Other than that was a terrific stay! Would come here again.

We had such a great stay, staff were so friendly and helpful! We spent most of our days up in the pool that the staff up there we made friends with, will definitely stay here again!!!
