Stay at Oryx”

Perfect place to stay with all facilities around (SPa, Theaters, Shopping Mall, Food Courts). Swimming Pool is available. 10 Floors. "The best" bargain to stay at such a place. Will not find any other similar hotel in that area for this rate.

Good Place - value for the money”

let me be clear here. although some apartments need maintenance works to improve them, they still have many other ones in very good condition. it is value for the money and close to everything such as (mall, grocery, gas station, etc.) the staff was very good. when I complained about the apartment I was given initially, the front desk immediately gave a bigger and cleaner room

The wireless (Wifi) in Studio apartment is very poor. The sofa is clean and not good to seat on. I recommend to look to another alternative

You Get What You Pay For”

I was only there for 4 hours because of a long airport wait. I needed a room to shower and relax. It's a very very old building with mildew that will never be cleaned. There was women's hair on the floor and the tub was dirty as well, and not mildew, actually filth from someone's body. The AC was very loud and the walls were like paper. I had to use ear plugs so I didn't have to listen to the men next door screaming, singing, and dancing. I left early because the room was such a disappointment. Next time I'll pay double to somewhere else that's quiet and clean.

nice place to stay especially with family and friends, the price is affordable, the suite with 2 big rooms is awesome very compatible you feel at home you can sleep well and relax, with very good wifi network, location is ideal..

Big Rooms - good value”

really nice rooms for money. Lots of space. Only negatives were hard bed and bathroom gets wet when showering. Overall great place for 2 BR. Manager / Owner a very nice and helpful man. Lots of guests are repeaters. Loud partying not allowed. Some families there. Singles to be discreet.

Needs improvement!!!!”

The Oryx is in a decent location but the room I stayed in was in desperate need of repair. The floor was bowed in one of the bedrooms. There was a hole in the wall in the living room. The wi-fi was non-existent, and apparently they only do the daily housekeeping if you call them(customarily this is done on a daily basis at every hotel and apartment ive ever stayed in. Dont know why its different here). The staff was pleasant and the location is good. The Oryx can be a great place but it definately needs some work.

the Room is big and accommodating.. swimming pool is nice... the staff members are extra nice and helpful specially the Indian guy there... i simply loved it and i seriously recommend it to everyone.. plus there are a variety of restaurants around the place

We had a wonderfully stay at Oryx. The furniture are somehow a bit new. The living room is also spacious. However the hotel need to fix minor water leak in the bathroom probably due to the high pressurized water.

Depeciated Hotel”

I visit this Hotel in 2014 or 2015, It was fabulous. New and comfortable., Now I am really disappointed how it has changed to the worst. 1. The studio apartment isn't a real studio, it is stolen room from a 2 bedroom apartment, which you will share the entrance with the neighbor. 2. No telephone in the place (since it is in the next living room). you have to go down to reception if you need anything. 3. There was only one towel and they took it when they came in for room makeup. 4. No locks in the toilet door 5. The bed was noisy, kinda broken, Mattress is awful. 6. Bed sheets, pillow covers, blanket all look very old and not pure white, just yellowish. 7. no toilet slippers. or slippers in the room 8. Wifi was awful, works only 1/3 of the time and not strong to watch a video on youtube. 9. You can't control the AC in the studio if the next door turned it on. (control from next door apartment) Maybe the studios are bad, and the original 2 BR is still good, but that's not an excuse.

With all due respect to the people working there this place leaves a lot to be wished for. I checked into a studio room. The building is kinda raggedy and squeaky. I could here the neighboring rooms loud and clear. The air ducts made news every time someone opens a door somewhere, freaked me out for a while until I found out what the noise was. LTE coverage doesn’t work indoors and they have me the wrong password to WiFi. The only thing positive I got to say here is that it was cheap.
