Stains on carpet, beds, walls, the floors were wet when I first walked into the room. The screen on the window was torn and there was tacks all over the curtains to hold them in place.

Nice place for price”

It is a decent hotel for the money. Well staffed even at night. Rooms are clean and well taken care of. Breakfast was adequate,more than toast and bagels. The only draw back is no elevator, just 2 flights of stairs. So if you need the use of one, call ahead and ask for a room on first floor.

Construction zone”

The hotel seemed ok, but upon entering you found it it was being remodeled. That’s fine, but it made the place seem dirty and it was cluttered with materials and we weren’t prepared. We also had a hard time finding our room because there was no elevator and the signage was not clear. The concierge didn’t give us directions to the room or warn us about what was happening. The worst part was that our room had a very strange odor. Not sure if it was from cleaning or what, but we tried to spend as little time in the room as possible.

I had reserved a room with 2 queens (I was travelling with a friend), and instead I got a room with a king and a separate room with a hideabed. When I called the desk to ask about having the hideabed made up, they told me I could come downstairs and get the sheets! I told them that I didn't think I should have to do that--especially since we didn't get the room we reserved. Then they did agree to have housekeeping make up the bed for me. There were several large stains on the carpet. The ceiling fan was off balance and rattled.
