Unhelpful unclean”

I reserved a 'grand delux' room which is shown as having a king plus a single bed which was for our son, but the just gave us a standard room with a double bed. Reluctantly after arguing with them for some time, they upgraded us to a room with 2 beds, as they had given all of the grand deluxes away. The new room was not great either. Breakfast area cleanliness needs a lot of work. We left our swimming wear on the balcony by accident, called several times to ask if they can keep it for us until next week, but every time we called they just said they haven't checked. How this place scores 8.1 I will never know, more like 6.

I highly recommend this Hotel, I went there to have a relaxing time and this exceeded my expectations! Is so close to the airport and for me that is the best bonus, since my airplane landed the only thing that I wanted was go to relax and when I arrived to the hotel I started to feel it, the staff is amazing, the facilities and the room were so clean, and the restaurant is awesome the food is delicious!!! I saw families and people who went there for business and they were having an awesome time, for sure I will come back, thank you!! As a family we enjoy a place with a pool, safe environment, friendly staff, and buffet breakfast. We go here often for swimming and eating. It is a good bargain.

A nice hotel with lovely pool”

For the price, this hotel is a decent choice. The facility is becoming dated, but it is clean and the pool is very nice. There is a decent breakfast buffet, but nothing special except for the coffee machine. The eggs and waffles were cooked in way too much margarine. It is an overall decent choice.

Stay to be close to airport ”

We chose this hotel to be close to the airport. Its right next door which is excellent. The whole place has such a peaceful feel and very relaxing. The room was very nice with balcony. Very lovely surroundings. Had a lunch in the restaurant which was ok but i found the breakfast buffet much better. only 1 night but a nice stay, plus a free drop off at the airport

Excellent Location to airport,Good Value”

This Resort is in an excellent location next to KK airport and provides free transfers to pick up and drop off which was important .The resort is quite old although clean and tidy.... The rooms were clean,tidy & quite and bedding was good .The staff were very friendly and helpful. The resort area was well kept and good swimming pool....Close to restaurants on the road outside... Breakfast was good for the value ..I would stay here again

Perfect location and best breakfast!”

One of my friends recommended this hotel to stay before the flight to Chiang Mai. My friend and I loved it! The hotel staff were nice and friendly. Clean room. The breakfast was the best I ever had! Totally recommend!

Very good resort ”

This resort is next to the airport. Very quit place in the evening. Nice to sit out on balcony and be so quiet for being close to airport. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included with room, breakfast was ok.

Repeat stay”

We stay 2-3 times per year at Rachawadee, it is a great little hotel which provides a great get-away from Bangkok. Its conveniently located by the airport with a short drive into the City. The pool is a little oasis and grassy area provides a safe place for my toddler to run around. The Italian restaurant Vacca is an excellent addition to the hotel

We regularly stay at Rachawadee so was nice to be greeted by name from the front desk staff on our arrival. The rooms we choose are the 'grand luxury' (or similar name), they are not 'grand luxury' by hotel chain standards but they are lovely and clean and are facing the pool.

we chose this hotel for its proximity to khon kaen airport and the good reviews - not disappointed. impressed by the beautiful spacious grounds, nice sized clean pool and only a short walk from the airport on quiet airport road. nice restaurant with live music at nite but seemed expensive. saw other restaurants outside but didnt try. room was as described, clean,well equipped, comfortable bed, good a/c, free snacks, lots of hot water. minor cons were tv is old (didnt use), unable to connect to wifi, and slow drain in shower. the breakfast was outstanding. generous variety of esan, thai, and western food but what really impressed was the made to order omlettes, waffles and vietnamese dishes. top of my list now for khon kaen!

We have stayed at the Rachawadee numerous times over the years since discovering it back in 2009. It never disappoints and we have just booked for another stay in August this year. The hotel is really a nice country-style 3 star hotel, nothing more, nothing less. The only drawback is that the conference facilities attracts group bookings for weddings/parties and the karaoke can go on into the night so you have to be mindful of that.

Quick stop while traveling”

We had a great one night stay. We were driving through the city and just needed a place to stay. The rooms were nice all although a little old. The pool look good although we did not get a chance to swim. We were surprised by the breakfast. We were expecting the usual Asian options, but they also had hash browns, an omelet station and waffles. The kids loved the breakfast. Overall it was exactly what we were looking for.

Comfortable hotel convenient for the airport”

I often stay in Khon Kaen but I usually stay at the Boss Grand Tower as it's in the city centre so close to shops and restaurants. This time I was flying home from the UK via Bangkok. This hotel always has good reviews and is close to the airport which was ideal after a long trip and avoided the drive to Mahasarakham. I didn't really get a chance to form much of an opinion but what I saw was good. I may well go back sometime to spend longer there. I'd particularly like to try the pool. It was nice seeing the rabbits that run free there. Although it's very close to the airport never heard any noise or at least I didn't notice any.

Lovely & Nice Resort ”

This is my first time to Khon Kaen and I am that I have stayed in this Resort. It is less than 5 minutes drive from the airport and is a very quite place to relax. The room is big and clean with very nice service. The hotel has a restaurant with good food and plays nice oldies song. I especially love the big compound, nice to take a walk to just relax. I will highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Khon Kaen.

Clean hotel and lovely settings! ”

We really enjoyed out stay in this hotel. its easy to find, mice rooms, efficient service helping you to take suitcases in, clean rooms, nice shower, comfortable beds, ok breakfast and nice large swimming pool. Great place to stop if you are driving long distance. Hotel is set in beautiful gardens and swimming pool as well as breakfast room and pond with fish to feed is entertaining for kids. Free wifi works ok.

I book this hotel twice on March ,very clean room,nice staffs I recommend you to try Rachawadee's resturant very good tase such as Som-Tom Ta-La(papaya salad with shirmp & shells)Tom Yum Kung (Thai curries)Very delicious breakfast but you have to wake up early (Before 10 AM.) My daughther love swimming pool tidy and not to dangerous for those who can't swim (It's just 160 cms deep)I bring my family to stay this hotel again nice place !!

Great hotel in rural Khon Kaen”

second stay at rachawadee, they have made some improvements since we were last here two years ago. work is still ongoing on some new rooms so at the present time it can be a little noisy in the day time but i'm sure this will just be temporary.
