I read some reviews before coming and did not have a high expectation. But the motel completely beats my expectation. The room is very clean, no smell as some reviews said. I upgraded to a room with hairdryer, microwave and mini frige. It’s much larger and really worth the money. The location is convenient and the stuff quite friendly and helpful. Anyways, love it!

Good location. Decent room. Clerk had no idea about restaurants in the area. Olive Garden is a local seafood restaurant?

The hotel is worth it for the price you pay. ”
I was hesitating to book this type of the hotel. But the price for 4 nights only without the need for facilities and breakfast was a determinant. I just needed a comfortable bed to rest after a long flight and busy days. I am not sure I made a right choice when choosing between a private room in The Sherman Guest Home in Waltham and Red Roof Hotel, but that's it. The king size bed was large and fluffy and should had felt comfortable, but for me was too springy (you feel every move of the bed from its opposite side when two people sleep). The room was clean, but every time we entered it in the evening there was a terrible smell and windows wouldn't open. So we had to open the doors, which disturbed our privacy. In overall, it was OK for the price we paid (and just for a couple of nights).

The staff should remember to explain the changes to cleaning procedures due to COVID. We are from another state and were not alerted to those changes. When no service was received, we spoke with the front desk. If someone asks for new towels, the staff should drop them off at the door. Instead they had me walk to the main office on a freezing cold night.

Just a quick stop”
This motel was just a quick stop on my trip so I could watch a Patriots game, but all the staff did not know how I should get to Foxborough, so I anyway I had to drive all the way there and besides that I was charged twice, on the reservation on-line and at counter when I was checking-in the employee insisted that I did not pay on-line and that payments should be made at the counter.

Air conditioner leaked and was old, no hot water, sheet had ink marks, room coffee was weak and poor. I will find a different place next time.

Best value for money ”
Okay for a night or two stays. Has everything we need, room is warm, clean sheets and blankets, nice strong shower. We park right in front of the room door which is convenient, yet not noisy from the traffic.

We stayed at this hotel at the end of a ‘Leaf Peepers’ road trip and chose the location as a last stopping off point before heading in to the airport in Boston. The facilities were somewhat basic, but the room was clean and comfortable, and the price included a modest breakfast option (actually a breakfast grab bag for consumption off site). Would recommend the Mexican restaurant close by (

It was fine. Outdated and not super clean. I think they are probably short staffed like everyone else and we didn’t have any cleaning service the three days we were there. The staff working the desk were very nice. I dud like how close it was to the walking trail.

Motel! Not a hotel!”
First time staying at a Red Roof. This was a motel!! First room had huge spots on the bed and this gross musty odor. We calied the front desk and the lady came to look at room and upgraded us to a "premium" room. The next room had better bedding ... But the sink area was outside the tiny bathroom. Also, there was no lock inside bathroom and the door knob would get stuck! So you had no way of getting out of bedroom!! Thank God we had other family members that could hear each of knocking to let us out!! This place is convenient to local places and 15 minutes to Wellesley but never again!

Double Charged”
Checked in at 2 am with a reservation. Desk clerk told me my reservation was for the next day. I replied no, today is May 24th, my reservation is for May 24. Reply was that check in for May 24th is 3PM. If I wanted to check in at 2am I should have made my reservation for May 23rd. She would not rent me the room. Said I would have to pay for another room if I wanted to stay. Needless to say that at 2 am my options were limited so I had to pay for another room. No more Red Roof Inns for me!

Accommodating staff, near Logan Bus terminal”
We arrived at around 12nn but the lady, Carina, was so nice to accommodate us. She informed me that the room isn't ready yet but gave me the other room instead located in the scandal building. This hotel is near the Logan Bus terminal , $4.00 taxi from there. It's a bit of a walk to Natick Mall. There were restaurants nearby like Dunkin donut and across the street, a vegan restaurant and there's another one, they provided bottled water and coffee everyday. There's no refrigerator in the room but it's okay as we only stayed for a day. Very clean and fast wifi. Will go back again.
