Nagyszerű”
The room I stayed in looks newly renovated. It was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and it has a great location close to transportation, shops, restaurants, etc. You can use the lift or the stairs.
Hotel going through major overhaul”
We was shocked to find out that the hotel was going through major renovation. It was not stated when booking was made. And I have seen such information being made aware of at other listings of renovating hotels. We were directed to take a side entrance. When I tried pushing my luggage through the revolving door, I got a scolding and was told to look at a sign that says to take an alternative entrance for those with luggage. The problem was, the sign was tucked in the left hand corner when the revolving door was on the right. As a customer, I certainly did not feel welcomed especially after a 3 hour train ride. The reception was reduced to a small counter as the actual once was being renovated. Reception staff were not fully competent in the English language as you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Check in was quick but we had to manoeuvre through areas that were being renovated to get to the rooms. When the lift door opened on the room level, we were shocked to see the lift lobby completely stripped off. No carpet, walls were bare and tools and scraps of wood were lying around. Renovation planning was bad. I’ve never seen hotels renovate all floors concurrently! Even after I had expressed disappointment in my booking of a renovating hotel, nothing was done. So much for service and service recovery. I wouldn’t rate it 4 stars for sure.
Excellent hotel”
Located in Potsdam, so takes an hour from Berlin downtown. Other than that, it is just awesome in everything. Just a few steps away from the beautiful Sanssouci palace, Strongly recommend^^

Das Hotel ist von der Lage ganz gut. Nähe City und zum Schloßpark. Die Zimmer sind normal aber nichts besonderes. Frühstück haben wir nicht genutzt. Für einen Kurz Urlaub gut. Wer mit dem Auto kommt sollte nicht in der Tiefgarage am Luisenplatz parken. Musste 36 Euro bezahlen für die Nacht.
