Nice hostel on a great location”

The private room with shared bathroom is a good choice at this hostel. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable and we had a lot of space. The shared bathroom was most of the time clean as well. The staff is welcoming and friendly, they even offer free bicycles service. Outside they have a lovely terrace with a nice bar & some good food!

Location is at the mid bet the east gate and west gate of old city, one thing i dont like is the bed linens are not changed, it smells kinda used. :/

Noise from road side food stall is killing”

I had read some reviews pointed about this hostel that it is noisy because it has a night club behind the hostel. I was thinking that i could stand for the noise from the night club but until i had checked in and find out that the noise is actually from the drunk people having supper at the road side food stall beside the hostel. They talk loud and laugh until late night (3am), just like your drunk friends having fun in the living hall while you tired and try to sleep in the room next door. It was a nighmare. I was planned to stay for 9 days but i checked out on the next day. The good point about this hostel is the staff are nice and friendly.

Solid but noisy hostel”

We stayed five nights at the hostel. The room was ok, it was clean but the furniture worn away and There was no cleaning service for our room during this time, which we was fine with us - it is still a hostel. However, this also means you have to ask for toilet paper and fresh towels, which I would have expected to be refilled every other day. The laundry service was ok, we did not like that they highlighted the labels with permanent marker. The access to wifi in the room was very limited, sometimes it did not work at all. The street and especially the guest at the food stalls next to the hostel were extremely noisy during the night. in comparison, the night club did not bother us.

Great value for money ”

I previously stayed in this hostel a year ago with a friend and had a great stay so returned with my boyfriend. We stayed in a twin with shared bathroom, room was really close to the showers and was comfy. Staff are friendly and helpful!

if you want a peaceful hostel, this one is good. i don't like very much because the room didn't have windows and i really like to wake up with the sunshine.

Very disappointing ”

Pros is the location and happy staff clean rooms and they have budget backpacker rooms Cons are they have ripped down the outside bar and restaurant from last year when I stayed in my luxury deluxe room which sounds better than it is for 1200 baht a night very small. They have just opened a new night club outside of my room window on the ground floor you can feel the music pump through your bed and drunk people shouting and walking up and down until the early hours so If you want to sleep before 3 am you have no luck ! I checked out 3 days earlier to stay in the baan sang sing resort for and extra 300 a night . Very disappointing after having a good stay last year they need to update their Agoda hotel photo from outside as it still shows the nice outside bar view photo

OK place for for a short time ”

The place close to main area. However it is close to a big bar. So if you are bothered by noise, I would suggest you find another place. The stuff are nice and helpful for any tips. The place is close to Sunday market. The place fairly clean for a short stay

Sunny hostel located beside a pub, a lot of people passing by and making loud noise until midnight 3 am. Other than this, everything is good.

It's a good location with lower price, staffs are friendly. The dorm is clean , the only two weak points are no windows and the towel got a brown stain onside, better to use own towel! Anyway, I still recommend the hotel to backpackers who want to save money 😛

Value for money!”

We had a pleasant stay in Sunny Hostel's, deluxe king room on the first floor. We didn't find it too noisy as our room was away from the common bathrooms and the stairs. The location was a total win! It was super easy to move around from, and we love the fact that it faced the canal. As it was a new-ish hostel, the rooms were farely cleanly and in good shape. Would definitely recommend to anyone on the lookout for a budget stay.

Small hostel”

It's a small hostel with good stuff who were very nice to guests. Problem is too noisy and small space, my room have no windows TV set, just two beds, you have to share toilet ant bath room with others, that why I left after just one night's staying
