Building site/gutted out building with window open to elements,one fire door separating the building waiting to be gutted, Impunity to make money on rooms which is only delayed by fire door unsafe building from smoke or even fire,a reconstructed building building site entry by fire door opportunity to make money on incurred room,fire risk entry by adjoining fire door,should not be advertised on web until work completed,health and safety officer,no guest should be on premises unless fire door blocked as separate building safety
Terrible bed and not what we expected”
I'm pretty sure we had chosen a room with our own toilet facilities but we did not receive this, there were mould stains on the carpet as there was a small shower in the room. A plug in heater that was either to hot when it was on or too cold when Turned off. And the bed! I've never had such a bad night's sleep in my life! I'm still recovering. My back and my stomach was aching for 2 days, it felt like all the springs had gone, digging into me and the bed sank in the middle when you layed on it. A proper quilt wasn't provided just 2 sheets one of which was thin, not good for the cold weather! We booked this as a last minute thing, after deciding not to travel home.in the middle of the night, we got to the hotel so late in the night it felt pointless to complain as we were leaving at 6am the next day but frankly I was appalled! You really do get what you pay for in London. If your needing a bed for the night, don't be cheap or you will regret it
Hotel horrible, Staff amazing ”
The only thing i recommend about this hotel is the reception guy from night shift (we arrived on 5th March around 22:00 ) - he was helpful, patient, he treated our big complaints about this hotel very calmly. The hotel has heating only from 7pm! Until 7pm you freeze. Its old, doesn't have decent furniture, breakfast is a coffee , milk , butter and cereals - THAT'S IT! Nothing more. Its more like a hostel, not a hotel - the owners should really be ashamed... Its under any expectations! Staff again i say, is amazing and helpful, girls from cleaning service are ok, too... But the owners let this hotel in a degrading state and everybody takes it out on some people from receptions - which is not correct, from the owners.
