Value for Money”

Stayed here for 3 nights with family. The resort is well maintained with spacious cottages and good surroundings. The access to the beach is the best part. You can just walk to the beach in a minute. The in house restaurant is good too. The staff is very helpful and polite. Would recommend this place for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in South Goa.

Perfect place to unwind”

This is a review after 4 nights 5 days stay at the resort, Pros- Fabulous location. 2 mts walk from the beach. Good variety of eatables at reasonable prices Very comfortable and clean spacious rooms Great land scaping Clean pool Cons- Bfast menu needs to improve with some more variety . It's pretty unexciting rt now. Very very limited parking Approach to beach could be made better Staff could be trained to give some basic inputs to guests Overall a great experience. Will come back soon enough

Excellent property with poor maintenance ”

Stayed here for 2 nights. Here are the points you should consider before booking this property. Pros 1. Close proximity to beach, rear gate of the property opens to the beach till midnight. There are plenty of shacks, you have lot of options for food there. 2. Property is neat and clean with decent swimming pool. 3. Food is reasonably priced in restaurant, however you may not get all what is mentioned in the menu. 4. Food is tasty however bit customized for European taste bud, however this is true for any restaurant out there. 5. Play area for small kids. 6. Very peaceful and staff is very helpful. Cons: 1. Breakfast is not so good, I would rate it quite average. 2. Maintenance inside rooms and bathrooms are poor, especially fittings in my bathroom were came out and it was big inconvenience. 3. Parking looks limited, if there are more than 5 cars, it can be a problem.

Great Hotel”

The hotel has a fantastic location and excellent rooms. The staff were excellent and helpful. The service in the kitchen for the first few days for breakfast was very slow but once we provided feedback it improved significantly. Overall a great hotel and we would love to be back.

Nice location with direct access to beach. resort is quite clen & well maintained. Friendly staff as well. Quick room service & restaurant serves pretty good food as well. It's definitely recommended o visit & stay at this hotel

Paradise!”

I stayed at the Fern Beira Mar Resort for 17 days, while convalescing from a total hip replacement. It was the perfect place to convalesce: quiet, peaceful, beautiful gardens, and excellent staff -- and only a 2-minute stroll to the beach which starts at the boundary of the property. The area is quiet -- even the beach is not crowded, and there are plenty of options on the beach for refreshments or dining. The resort's own restaurant boasts very reasonable prices, too. Breakfast was acceptable, if a little limited -- but there is a chef on had to cook eggs to your liking. The staff were universally friendly and helpful. This is a very well-managed hotel, and the manager is visible all day long. Highly recommended.

Nice location and beautiful resort”

Overall a wonderful experience. We stayed for 4 nights during new year eve. Enjoyed beautiful and clean benaulim beach. Swimming pool is small. New year's party in the resort was not so great but we enjoyed party at the beach, dancing on Bollywood songs and lots of fire crackers. Good choice of restaurants at the beach e.g. Jhoncy, Roggers and Dominick.

Too expensive for what you get ”

After seeing the pictures and reading the rating I booked the hotel. On arrival at Goa airport no airport transfer was sent though it was printed in my voucher as I asked for. Paid 800 for prepaid taxi after waiting in long que for almost 2 hours. After reaching the staff apologised . I didn't like the room given to me, that too the friendly staff promised to shift next day. My daughter order for a simple snack, fish finger and was shocked to see the quality. It looked over done and deshaped. As I tasted it was stale n smelled horrible. Not meant for Human consumption . Sent it back to the room service. No opplogies or any word was communicated be any responsible person there. Look like there is no management personals there. Only receptionist run the place with there best of abilities. Complimentary breakfast not up to the mark. Something you get in a non star hotel. It was a bad experience . When checking out I did ask for the airport transfer , I was asked to pay Rs. 1200 for a drop and I was left to find a taxi parked outside for bargain without any luck. Paid Rs 800 in aircondioned taxi from airport and taxi and hotel both are demanding Rs 1200. I felt like being blackmailed as resort is in remote area. No official or manager was there to sort out the situation . I will not recommend this hotel as its not professionally managed and breakfast and menu food is horrible.

Everything was fantastic. Great location - right there to access a very nice beach, great value room service, good value laundry, rooms were wonderful and it was very sweet having your own little structure as your room... Good little pool and the hammocks in the beautifully kept gardens are so comfy to read a book in the shade! Had a massage and it was glorious! Highly recommend the spa there! Only thing is the breakfast buffet gets a bit boring after a few days if you are staying longer, but can always go down the road to other bakeries/ cafes. We had such a nice stay and the staff were wonderful - we will definitely come again!

This is a place I would highly recommend to all..bang on the benaulim beach and also walking distance from the market..the cottages are very well designed with every comfort..i have stayed at hotels the same price and find this to be a much better option

A resort with loads of potential ur not well managed. ”

This hotel has many assets - a nice pool, lovely gardens, well cooked food access to a splendid beach, and even a full size snooker table. But none of it quite fits together. Improvements that can be easily made are 1) Improve access to the beach and install a tap to clear sand. 2) Paint and neaten the exter of the lobby and restaurant facing the pool. 3) Really work at the communal areas to add character. Lamps and plants in the lobby, books, plants and heritage chairs in the games room 3) Smarten up the whole gym area and give water and shower facilities to integrate it with the swimming area. 4) Make both toilet and bathroom doors open inwards so that they don’t bang into each other. 5) Improve the juice and cereal elements of the breakfast. 5) Really consider the ambiance of the music in the restaurant. Loud MTV style music through the tv is not classy. These things are easily achievable in a short amount of time and then I would happily recommend.
