Best day ever. ... ”

I stayed in a executive room. I got sweet cosy room. Sea view and the colombo city view was stunning. Best 2 hour was from 6.pm to 8.pm I had all the drinks i want and nice collection of snacks. . Experience become even better with warm welcome from the lady and thilakasiri (may be I'm wrong with names ) . Again the view was unforgettable. . You can see the port with all the color full lights Again the food. . .guys you are the best. ..we enjoyed the every bit of it. Once again the team was super friendly. Feel home. Entrance fixed with luggage scanner. Great idea. Feel safe. . Want to see your frendly faces again soon Herath

Beautiful City Hotel with amazing Staff ”

We had a lovely, comfortable stay at this beautiful hotel which is located in the best part of Colombo City. We were very impressed by their amazing staff that warmly welcomed us and treated us so well throughout our entire stay. They didn't let the recent events effect their quality of service. Thank you for very lovely stay. I definitely recommend this hotel to anybody and will be definitely back again very soon!

GOOD HOTEL TO STAY”

As a measure to support the victim of bomb blast I stayed there in this hotel. Staff are very good, check in is very fast, neat and well arranged room. Had good view of sea. Dinner was very good and comparatively prices are cheap. As in previous 2 occasions they allotted rooms in 5th floor or at lower levels I stopped going to this hotel and this time I was allotted a room in 8th floor. Being a frequent business visitor to Colombo, I will stay again in this hotel.

We stayed at the Kingsbury for 3 nights and found it a nice hotel with good rooms, a nice pool and facilities and in a great location. The staff were very helpful, especially the Guest Services Manager Asanga. Much appreciated!

Excellent time spent in Kingsbury”

This hotel stay was by far one of our most memorable stays anywhere. We had exceptional staff who were very friendly and even gave us advice on the different spots to check out in Colombo, Kandy, and Sigiriya. The restaurants at the hotel were amazing, with quite the variety. The breakfast spread was delicious and varied. My wife & I chose the suite room. It had large square footage, and we enjoyed the comforts. The night parties vibe in the hotel by the pool area was very pleasant. Highly recommend to anyone venturing into Colombo.

Fantastic Stay After a Bumpy Start”

After we complained about the infiltrating cigarette smoke & thumping music outside our initial room (3 floors up facing Honey beach Club) staff & management went the extra mile to assist us & ensure we were more than comfortable for the remainder of our stay. Downstairs facilities are 5 star no doubt, however unfortunately the rooms themselves could do with a freshen up to match the rest of the hotel. Also the beach club theme is completely at odds with the ambience portrayed throughout the rest of the hotel. Staff were fantastic overall, very helpful, obliging, respectful and polite. The location of the hotel is fantastic for exploring the Fort, and convenient for accessing the rest of the city.

I spent my last two nights in Colombo at The Kingsbury & thought this was a remarkable way to end my holiday in Sri Lanka. The hotel is the epitome of luxury. The food at both the afternoon tea and breakfast buffets was a true fusion of all the foreign influences Sri Lanka has enjoyed. I was gobsmacked by my room the second I stepped into it - it was divine. My bed faced the sea and waking up in the morning was so refreshing. Kudos to the management for looking into even the smallest details to create such a wonderful sense of grandeur.

It is Tekong too much time at checking n check out counter. You can install self checking counter. Security. Ref to be upgraded. Lift should be locked at different levels. Only card holders can have access to floors.

Great hotel. ”

Nice and clean rooms. Very relaxing. Great facilities. Breakfast is heavenly. Staff are very helpful. Only downside the reception is very crowded always due to weddings and similar functions. Reception too small for a hotel of its nature. Overall beautiful and relaxing place to stay in Colombo.

Great room, service and food”

The room was very clean and spacious, with a clean toilet. Everything looks new. The staff were very helpful and polite at all times. The breakfast buffet was great! Will definitely stay here again the next time I am in Colombo.

Rooms need some work ”

Pool was great, staff were helpful and pleasant, food was good, but the rooms really need some work, definitely not up to standard we expected- chipped paint on furniture, carpets looked tired, rooms definitely need painting, air conditioning outlet looked filthy. Also agree with other reviews that the number of functions the hotel hosts causes issues for guests, only 2 elevators and a lot of times filled with function guests, you gave to wait quite often to get to your room.

Superb”

From check in to checkout,flawless experience. Food was amazing,with a huge variety of cuisines to choose from. Each of the restaurants they have serve delicious food and in decent prices. Staff is knowledgeable and well mannered. Centrally located,perhaps the best location in Colombo,easy to go anywhere u need to. Management was perfect and top notch. Will definitely stay there when I visit Colombo again. Room was a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle with all amenities and a clean bathroom. Highly recommended.

Hotel rooms were a bit law condition”

my stay was brief but not matching my expectations, when comparing rooms with other hotel. It's my hobby to checkin in a different hotel each time, I visit Colombo for business. From the look of the hotel and standard mention in sites,it does not match the exact feeling once inside the room.
