Good for crashing after a day out”

This is an okay place. Room was very small and nothing like the photo. It could have done with a bit of a deep clean to just brighten it up. Unfortunately it was a very stuffy and clammy room. They did provide a fan which helped a little but still a very uncomfortable sleep. They had a very thick and warm duvet which was a really odd decision given we're in summer. The breakfast in the morning was spot on just what we needed. Great parking and nearby to the Healey's cider farm too.

5 day stayover 24-28/12/20. Met by rude bar maid who tried to sell me a face mask for £1. Then a colleague of hers said they’re free and issued one. Was taken to my room only to be told there will be no breakfast on Xmas day (despite the restaurant being open). Was given some cereal boxes for Xmas day/milk/ juice./croissants. Boxing Day - was told to arrive for breakfast for 7:30. On arrival was not allowed in by an old man in a vest and headphones hoovering the floor. Again, rude and abrupt staff. Then friendly morning staff arrived , who stated she had not been told about the arrangements by her colleagues but offered a hot breakfast. Of the 5 day stay, I’m room was cleaned ONCE!!. No new towels, no soap, no new shampoo top-ups etc. My pizza box, old banana peel, milk from day one etc was there till the end. Eventually, I didn’t care either. Heating was turned off for 2nights. Window would not full close, so very cold nights. By the time I would arrive from work (11pm) there were no staff to talk to. The only good thing about this place was the friendly lady serving delicious and rapid breakfast. Thank you.
