If you want the feel of being local and independent choose this place! Not having your own bathroom scared me before booking, but it was a nonissue while I was there. There’re toilets on both floors, a sink in every room, and the bath is on the first floor. I never waited in line for the bath or toilet - and it was always nice and clean! It’s a small hotel, but feels more like an apartment building. You have your own key to the gate, so going in a night makes you feel more like a local than a tourist (I loved it!). Checking in was very flexible - I got my keys from the small safety boxes next to the front door to reception. Heino, who owns the place made me feel very welcome and was nice to extend my stay. He answers emails very fast. The location is excellent - being relatively quiet and so close (100m(?)) to Mariahilf (the main shopping street), most museums and sights are within walking distance. Furthermore in the summer you will enjoy being able to go home and change clothes before dinner!! I highly recommend and will come back again! 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡 Also make sure to check out Daniel’s Bistronomie in the same building as the reception - try Daniel’s special homemade ice tea with gin or vodka 🙏🏻

Excellent staff, superb location”
I stayed there for 1 night. The staff was immensely helpful and friendly. They helped me with all the aspects of the hotel. The location is perfect, right in the city centre, 10 minutes walking from the major attractions of Vienna City. Would recommend it. Shared toilets and bathrooms were also clean. There is a basin in the solo rooms. Only one annoying part was that the roadside noise easily seeped into the rooms through the walls. But that's okay.

The hotel is in the center of the city. No need to use transport. The owner is nice person, helped a lot.

The shared shower was clean and had free shower gel, but a little sort of draw or box to put away your clothes while showering would be a great addition.

I hate to give a negative review because although the staff are great and the facility is clean and the location is good, it is difficult to get rest. The walls are so thin that you can hear every movement across the entire floor. Every door open and close every foot step, and so after a day of freezing temperatures and exhaustion from walking you wont be able to get the recovery you need for the next day.

Even with the windows close we were hearing people in the street screaming. There was no air conditioning so it was really hot.

It makes you feel as if you are living in the city the keys are actual keys and none of that electronic stuff the staff is friendly and the rooms are small but I guess you pay for what you get or you get for what you pay great place I'm definitely coming back.

Price and location were good. But, I could hear the noise everyday from other rooms like TV, talking, Laughter sounds. It was not soundproofed. First of all, guide paper in the room said they provide cleaning services everyday. It said if you want to replace towels, put towels on the floor. So, I did but they didn't replace. I sent a message to hotel they replied we don't clean everyday. If I knew it, I would never have put towels on the floor. I couldn't use towels second day. They replace towels once at third day and they didn't tidy up the bedding for 4 nights.

The place is okay considering that it's in Vienna where everything is expensive. The room doesn't have a toilet, but that we already knew when we made the booking. Shower in our room didn't drain water, the water was just standing so I had to use shared shower in the corridor, it was better. The heater in the shared toilet had some questionnable stains, wasn't really pleasant to use the toilet. The tv remote didn't work, batteries I guess were empty. For 1 night it's okay. The bed was nice and sheets soft. The man in the reception was very friendly.

Found out three weeks before my travel that I needed to go. Not that many limited budget options were available. Time Out turned out to be a good find. Short walking distance from Neubaugasse on U3 and Museumsquartier on U2. Around the corner from the shopping street. Billa, Lidl, Spar practically on the way from U stations to the Hotel. If you prefer ready made food, wok, kebab, Chinese buffet, many cafe/bar type places on the way. Internet speed was OK (in room #4 at least). Did not try breakfast, which was offered for 9 euros. Late check in (after 7 pm) needs to be agreed in advance.
