Fantastic location . Old fashion hotel with plenty of space. Very good breakfast with fantastic view over the main square. Although the room was dated and in need of updating , it was clean and sufficient. Very poor shower with hardly any pressure. The bed was comfortable though. The window in the in room was single glazed ,therefore , despite my room was on the 7th floor , there were lots of noise- particularly on Sat night, the music from the near by nightclub didn’t stop until 4am. I literally had only couple of hours of sleep because of this. I think overall was pretty ok. Would I recommend it ? I am not really sure to be honest. It was good value for money overall.
The hotel should be a five stars. It is super clean and big, the stuff is very very friendly and helpful. They are smiling all the time. The room is very clean and spacious. The location is 10 stars, located directly on Skandenberg square, and the view from the room is wooooooow. It is a must try hotel, and definetly worth the value
I had an amazing experience from customer service at the Check in desk to cleanliness of the room, amazing square view, delicious breakfast, nice wifi connection and a wonderful hotel location 😍 definitely going back soon
very helpful and approachable staff at reception. it is situated in front of the square and is near to the rina's park and a lot of restaurants and shops which you can reach simply by walking. though they don't offer tour packages, their airport transfer is much cheaper as compared if you book taxis to and from the airport. Breakfast buffet is okay, though staying there for 3 days with the same options for breakfast somehow lost it's charm. (i didn't ask if guest can order ala carte from the restaurant menu though). Other downside of our stay there was that there was an instance that a housekeeping staff surprisingly just opened the door to our room without knocking (probably thinking that we are out) simply to check if we have consumed items from the mini bar. Aside from that, it was a good stay with a good view of the square, the bed and pillows were comfortable.Very good location if you want to explore the city on foot.

Lovely hotel in excellent location. First night ac really didn't seem to be working but when left on in day was fine for our remaining days. Very helpful staff good variety of food at breakfast not halal though and lacked fresh fruits like watermelon etc which you would expect at any 4 star European hotel. Very friendly door man and reception staff. The biggest disappointment was the pool was under renovation. Really disappointed about this as I feel they faulsley advertised as having an open pool and spa facilities on agoda. Overall lovely stay and would be happy to stay there again.

The hotel is old with no intentions to be renewed. Breakfast is not good. Eggs cold, cheese doesn't look good etc. It has an amazing view to the main square but they don't clean the windows since communism disappeared, so the view is a shit. Lastly, some of the staff is not helpful. They don't even help you saying where to get a bus. There are better places to stay
While the location is great by the main square the hotel itself is very poor. Dirty carpets in the corridor, leaking shower, loo seat not attached, old frayed towels and all not very clean. The breakfast is absolutely terrible - no fruit except an apple or olives. Hot food totally cold and poor quality. Coffee diabolical. The breakfast room does have a nice view of the square. The staff seem pleasant but the front desk is manned by just one person and they seem to lots of groups. If you arrive behind one, you have an hour’s wait to check in. Ancient computer systems that don’t work to add to delays. All very primitive. Definitely wouldn’t stay again.
It's an older property that has been renovated. Rooms are a bit on the smaller side, but comfy enough for a couple for a night or two. Can't beat being right 'on' the Skander Square. And free parking. Usually in tune with Albania.
We enjoyed our three nights at the Tiranë International completely. Staff, the bar, the included breakfast, all made our stay outstanding. It’s located near some great attractions - we attended a ballet at the Opera House just a minute from the hotel. Skanderbeg Square is adjacent with multiple attractions.
Centrally located in the Skendenberj Square of the city, Tirana International Hotel is an excellent property. The rooms are spacious with good amenities, brightly lit and with comfortable bed and pillows. The staff were very helpful and courteous. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the culinary experience in the restaurant was awesome. It was a great choice, nothing to complain!

First of the location of the hotel was best and we were able to see the whole skanderburg square from the room.and the facilities were good the room was big enough for two people. It was neat and clean. The staff were really helpful and specially ( Salto and Erald).Everything was nearby and that was the best thing about this hotel so many restaurants and money exchange, atm booth,We had the chance to go out anytime . Strongly recommended.

Great hotel perfectly located - next to airport bus and main square. Everything is walkable. The Hoxha-era vibes are strong - it's v of its time but that's part of the retro charm. Now sadly dwarfed by newer towers that surround it. Rooms are on the basic side but extremely clean. Staff are wonderful. I'd definitely stay here again. Lobby is beautiful please don't redecorate!

Central hotel super convenient for all the main sights and transport links. Staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. Super clean. It's the original hotel in Albania ... It's lovely but does need a little up date here and there. Saying that ... The price was right for the time I stayed there. Breakfast I'd like to see them improve this - there's too much processed food as part of the buffet.

Great location and very important place in Albanias history. Lovely welcoming staff- very helpful. Breakfast buffet great value. Very clean and comfortable beds. All the key sights to see are very close. Also very close to the bus station. The local guides meet outside in the square at 10.00 every, don’t need to book or pay just tip at the end. Well worth doing.

Spend an overnight in this hotel. Staff personnel are helpful. The room is surprisingly super BASIC. NO COMPLEMENTARY COFFEE, BOTTLE WATER OR TEA given the brand positioning of this hitel is a bit upscale. Breakfast buffet is also SUPER BASIC and do not equate with the looks if the dinning area which is beautifully design with piano. Location is oerfect for tourists sine center of city sites. Comparing this hotel with other Balkan hotels in tge region, this hotel could have been more in gracious.
The location is in the middle of center which is so great., but felt like the room was old. In the room, there was an invoice from the previous customer on the table, I felt uncomfortable that I saw the private information and also, felt like the cleaning was not perfect for each customer. I told about it at the reception, but they were like "oh, sorry." casually, and didn't think it's a problem. Even they didn't share it within the staffs. Also, the information about the hotel contains "Airport transfer" "Shuttle service" so, I asked about the information about airport bus. The bus doesn't depart from the hotel, neither it's not their responsibility, but they didn't give me a clear information where it the airport bus station ( they said it's close only) and they didn't give me any hint about timetable, frequency or anything, but they just said they could call taxi with cost which I can do by myself, no information is not helpful for tourists at all even though it says "conference center", I didn't feel they take care of lots of business people or tourists in good ways. I do not stay this hotel anymore, not recommend to anyone. There are many hotels with good service nearby.

Great location right on the square. Room was clean and staff seemed friendly and helpful. Wifi was my only real complaint. Sometimes it was great, other times pretty spotty or very slow to the point I couldn't even load a Zoom call or 480p video.

Hotel is fine as are staff. Breakfast was ok. Room comfortable. The only thing that let it down was the size of the shower in the bathroom. Not very big and with shower curtain water end up going all over bathroom fkoor.

I stayed in this hotel for work. We also organized an event in this hotel. The facilities are outdated for the price you pay for them. Overall, the staff was extremely rude and aggressive. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had Booking for 2 Days but only stayed one night due to bad Experience I had whilst Checking In and moved to Intercontinental next door. Staff wanted to keep My Passport or A €50 Deposit . When asked why this policy not mentioned anywhere on there Website or On Agoda they mentioned it’s Internal Policy and told me this applies to everyone when asked why is there only 4 Passports there if hotel is fully Booked the Manager intervened and Said you can leave if you don’t Like.

Needs serious renovation, reception staff is rude, eventhough we made 1 booking for 2 rooms multiple nights well in advance, they did not give adjacent rooms, gave rooms in different floors, called us 2nd day in between our trip asking to come and change rooms. No charging points near bed. Even drinking water is in mini bar with charge. The only advantage is its in the center near prime tourist spot.
Good price and great location However, patchy wifi (claimed as technicians are fixing it but didnt improve over our stay), slightly strong odour across corridor on floors. It gets the work done tho.

Although the hotel is very well located in the heart of the city, the hotel leaves a lot to be desired. On check-in I had issues with my room booking which got things off to a bad start and then it all went downhill. The two lifts are slow and inadequate for the volume of guests. On day 2, I tried three times to go to breakfast but because of the number of guests, it was not possible to find a table. If they are expecting such large groups, they need to prepare the room accordingly. I gave up for the rest of my stay and went to the coffee bar for a coffee and croissant. It was a very disappointing stay and I will not stay here again.
An amazing location,ideal for exploring and easy to get to main bus hub. Unfortunately the reception staff were less than helpful and you were made to feel as if you were disturbing them and their phone use. Rooms were very dated and a non existent swimming pool. The hotel is being replaced so here's hoping the new one will have everything it says it should Apart from that Tirana itself is definitely worth a visit
This is an historic hotel in the center of Tirana with a superb view over Tirana's main square. It's close to everything in the city. HOWEVER, it is definitely old and in need of upgrades. It's an OK experience, but not extraordinary.

Fantastic stay in a historic hotel (Hoxha’s landmark) that is the best location in Tirana. Staff are exceptional, really friendly and helpful from the reception to the housekeeping staff, nothing was too much trouble. I will definitely be back.

I was hesitant to book here initially, as the reviews that is read online claimed that the hotel was very old to the level that it literally smells bad etc. I decided to have a look in person before booking. Firstly though, it seems to be a luck of the draw on whether you get a good room, as the room I got on my first night had let alone no view, but no natural light coming in at all. Luckily some of the staff members are absolute gems, & Marsela from reservations, as well as Magi on the front desk went above and beyond the call of duty to try to accomodation me & made me feel like a personal guest at the hotel. The aircons work, but seem to be fighting a losing battle somehow, & the bathrooms are very old in their design era, however, there spotlessly clean, & somehow in immaculate condition for such aged infrastructure. The reason I chose this hotel initially was it's location, However, I learnt that this wasn't even a relevant factor, as Tirana is so walkable & convenient that the location factor wasn't actually even relevant to this stay.
