superb value, nice quiet location, air-con needs servicing as not very cool, forget the breakfast it is a joke, just buy in town and at this price you can spoil yourself, could do with bbc news on tv as no english channels, good wifi.

Loud music nearby until 1 am ”

I did not have a problem with the room but hotel is near a place that play very loud music like a concert until 1 am. Also air condition was old and loud. I did not sleep until 1 am because of the music. Breakfast is for locals, porridge soup with rice and chicken, no other option.

All-in-all a good deal at an average hotel”

My only issue is the red stain (like blood, 4cm by 2 cm) and a few other spots on the white blanket cover. But bed is comfy, real blanket with white cover, not just a cheap fabric like some other hotels give. Breakfast is porridge, Asian soup dish with rice in animal broth. I am vegetarian so I had only coffee, there is no veggie alternative. Hotel 2 km away from the Central Plaza, 10 Baht with Songthaew, but i walked. Right next to the great yet expensive Talad Sod and walking distance to the largest lake where everyone comes for jogging or biking.

Really bad, room not made up till late afternoon, wifi hit and miss, hard bed and tiny pillows, air con pitiful, would hate to stay here when it is hot, NO english speaking channels on tv very poor, break fast is a complete joke, only good thing is lift and car park, never again

Nice and quiet”

It is well kept, clean (barring some ants here and there) and fairly new. Close to a market, close to a highway, close to the town centre, but really quiet and a good atmosphere. Free breakfast was rice soup or toast.

Quiet, clean basic condo/hotel”

I've stayed here on previous trips to Udon Thani. Close to Nong Prajac park, Ban Huey market, seven/eleven. It's quite a walk (30 mins) from Central Plaza or UD town near the trainstation,5-10 mins with songthaew (pick-up truck public transport) which costs 10 baht. Will stay there again on my future visits to Udon Thani.

At last I've found it.”

Not easy to find. For future travellers if you are in a car - drive from Nong Prajak along Phon Phisai road until you get to the no entry sign at the market. Look to your left and you will see a small soi and the hotel sign is above this. Problem is when you drive along Phon Phisai you get to the market have to turn right and the sign is behind you so you are lucky to see it. It is a shame that they can't put up another sign so that you can see something from both sides. I know Udon Thani reasonably well but it took me quite some time to find and that is partly because the roads are slow and busy near there. Having arrived check in good. Little English at reception if that causes you a problem but they are helpful. Room was basic but clean. Complementary breakfast for overnighters not up to much. I had a reason to stay in this location but if you haven't I would say other hotels offer more at this price and are easier to find. I won't go again without very good reason.

Clean and convenient”

Udon Cabana is quiet, clean efficient and convenient. Centrally located in Udon Thani near a market area and some small shops. Convenient for one night stay between Airport/train station and either Laos or Bangkok. We stay there regulalry and we find it easy, convenient and clean! Thai beds are hard and excellent for your back!

I came off the bus early in the morning so I had to wait to check in but the hotel staff graciously let me have the free coffee and toast for guests. They also called me when a room opened up. I appreciate the kindness of the workers at the Udoncabana and the price is incredibly inexpensive for the room.

No frills budget Hotel”

You are looking for a clean decent size room in a good central location in Udon than this would be a good choice. Internet could be faster as it is not enough to use skype.They have at least two types of mattress I think the one in room 210 is not as hard as the others

Good Location Hotel in Udon”

i like to stay here because the rooms are of good size and clean and the hotel is just in the middle of the city but in a quite soi. internet could be faster its not enough speed to provide a good skype connection and you need a lot of time to explain yourself to the boys on the front desk as their english is as bad as my thai.but one thing i really miss and this is the safe or atr least the possibility to lock things at the front desk which is not available. overall a good stay in udon

good location Accom in Udon”

Udoncabana is a quite place enen it is in the middle of the city center. Rooms are of good size I missed the safe in the room or at least at the reception but this could not be provided. The young men at the reception are of no help as they can`t communicate in english. Its a place for long stay less than a hotel. Internet connection is slow, skype could not work proper.

Great for young families”

this hot was solid, basic, clean and functional. Space for kids to run. Shade in the day. Good simple breakfast. The only problem was Agoda does not allow you to select 3 kids and so the hotel couldn't understand out message and didn't have a rom ready with enough beds. We sorted it out but it's due to Agoda assuming nobody with three kids would travel!

Very peaceful”

Very quiet and peaceful place to stay, just 2 mins from the local market for food etc. 10 min in a Taxi to the main shopping centre, and 15 to the Airport. Little difficult to find, drive alng the road until the Market one-way barrier, and the hotel is on your right down a narrow Soi.
