Quick trip”

The view is very nice specially when you swim at night. You get to enjoy the city lights. Food is also good and affordable. It’s best to visit this place if you have a transportation available. For someone not local, you have to ride a cab going there which is a bit challenging because some driver would decline because it’s a bit far from the city. Also, when you go back to the city, it’s going to take hours before there’s a cab available. The resort should have transportation available that would take guests back to the city after 12:00 noon. Their only available schedule is at 05:00PM. It can also get very crowded since they welcome guests who are not staying there overnight to use the swimming pool.

Great place to unwind”

Ultrawinds Mountain Resort is a great place to unwind which is just a few minutes away from Cagayan de Oro City. The staff there are very nice and accommodating. If you love to stay away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, you will certainly love the place. At night, head out to the pool area and enjoy Cagayan de Oro City lights. Yes, this place is already part of Bukidnon but this is closer to Cagayan de Oro City. If you are an oldie, you may request for a buggy to the pool area and back. (Roland of arveesblog dot com)

Valentine Weekend”

A perfect place to unwind with your special someone. Weather is cool and views are to die for especially at night when CdO twinkles below like stars. The pools are also very clean, not chlorinated. What I didn't like is the restaurant service. It will take you an hour just to wait for your meal. Breakfast is also very basic. Not the buffet type you usually expect in big hotels.

Good for families”

Families will like this location. However the road up at the moment is under repair and we had to wait 20 minutes for them to let us through. That's the biggest complaint, but hey it's the Philippines. You have to have patience :)

Not good”

Breakfast you only have one choice. Then we want food in the afternoon took us 15 minutes to get a hold of a staff and we got pass around on different numbers. The room is small and bed is below average. Very far from city and you have to pay extra 300 pesos for a taxi call plus flat rate. The view was good but there is constructions

Great setting quirky accommodations”

Great swimming facilities and public area outside Cagayan de Oro. Food was average, rooms very sparse, no hot water. A really mixed bag.

Perfect for relaxation and family bonding”

My kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. Food in the restaurant was good for 4 persons per order (we ordered pinakbet and pancit canton). Room they gave us was clean and spacious enough for my family.

Best 25m Lap Pool ”

One of the best assets of this resort is its 25m lap swimming pool. Not only does it have a fantastic view of the city but it has the best lap pool I've ever been to. It's more like an 8 lane 25 meter (5 feet) Lap pool. It was very clean and they are strict with their rules. I was so excited to do a morning laps that I went there at 5:30 am before the sun rises, but the pool opened at 8:30 am due to intensive cleaning. They use alkaline (spring) water. For some reasons, it makes me feel more light and buoyant than a regular pool. We really enjoyed swimming. The down side is, despite the location and rough roads, the pool gets very very crowded. Yes, even on a Tuesday. The rooms were clean and quiet. I requested a quiet area, so they booked us on the lower ground. The hot shower was limited, I didn't get one but my mom did. Our Dinner was great! Breakfast was expensive (250 each) and not worth it. Only the egg and rice were unlimited. Rice wasn't even cooked well.

Remarkable experience”

The place has a very astounding view! Loved the pool ammenities and its design but from someone coming from a city with spring pools, the water quality is not satisfying coz it's treated with chlorine. Our skin felt itchy after swimming. We availed the shuttle service to get there and it's very affordable for those who do not have private cars or are hesitant to go up there. They picked us up on time with a hammer . Breakfast was good although I would be very pleased if it was buffet-type. Overall, it was a great experience!

Great Place”

Room service is only from around 7am to 8pm. For a place that far from the city, it would have been great if they had long a time of service hours. The room was clean and cozy. The place had great amenities. It's a great place for staycations.

On top of the mountain”

View is really awesome, breakfast is good, the pools are big and the place is big also Room is spacious and modern. Tv is big with cable, cr is big also. Heater is working. There is fridge and they have supply of new toiletries every day. They Clean the room every day You can walk around ang relax. I also did horseback riding the place is really on top of the mountain. So be prapared to pay big for taxi. I suuggest you contact the resort for shuttle. for improvement, wish the place is more quiet other guests are noisy Curtain is broken. Resort pool is also crowded. Food in the restaurant is good. Its a place to relax. There are also peacocks around. The people are very nice. Staff are approachable.

Five star view, one star service.”

Arrived before the two pm check-in, had a disappointing lunch in their resturant. Went to check-in at twp pm, was advised rooms still not ready. Fimally after thirty minutes one room was ready (waiting for other room). Our support staff had taken the children to swim, while we rested. I go to check on the second room we had reserved, it was ready and next to our current room. There had been no cleaning activity, since we've taken the first room.. we have two rooms and eight people, Breakfast was an interesting meal, nothing to order only preset menu. Included in the reservation was breakfast but only for six so ee paid for tge additional, no problem. Upon check out, the staff wanted to charge us again for the additional breakfast meals. Come foractivities, but not for the room or services. Very disappointing pre New Years get away.

Wouldn’t recommend”

Being half Filipino, I have travelled the Philippines numerous times. However, upon checking in to Ultr Winds; they didn’t know my booking existed, the room was faulty & the staff were unwilling to resolve our issues. No hot water for 2 days after asking the front desk numerous time. No light bulbs in the room, broken fridge, coffee sachets but no kettle, and bed bugs. We intended to stay 7 nights but left after 4 as the only change they made was swap the room to another faulty one.
