Hua Kiew Hotel

ive paid for super deluxe room but i get king room. usually as per request but this time i got different from my booking.

Very clean, nice facilities and friendly staff. Good location, nice telly. Unfortunately we had a room right next to reception and so all night we could hear the staff chatting or playing games on their phone. The bed was also really uncomfy.

With very nice and helpful staff, with excellent location, spacious and clean room, a comfortable bed, this hotel was a very good choice. Recommended for everyone. You also get an electric kettle in the room, which was important for me as a coffee drinker. A small desk enough for your laptop. WIFI signal was rather weak on the second floor, but I could use my own mobile data through tethering, so that was no problem for me.

1.For the price point i would say it was very worth it and i managed to get a single room at a very affordable price. 2.The location of the hotel, it was placed (i would say) at the centre of the town. You can actually find the nearest mall just by walking or you can use grab or taxi to go there. 3.The thing that really satisfy me about this hotel is about the cleanliness. The moment i enter my room, my first impression was "wow,very good for a cheap-price hotel". 4. The staff is very friendly, and from my first view i can tell that the staff itself was the owner of the hotel. He was very calm and good though. 5.The hotel provides toothbrush, a comb,mug etc for their customers needs and i forgot to bring my toothbrush that day. A big coincidence that they have all the things i need. So, i like it very much. That's all from me and by the way I'm looking forward to stay here at the Hua Kiew Hotel again.

At 1st, the room given was great but the toilet was smelly which seems like being use and the toilet seem to be going to be clog though the staff was kind enough to change our room even though it is a bit small but comfortable and it was easy access to look out for our car. There are a lot of parking space but hotel doesn't cover the parking fee so it is recommend to go buy the parking coupon because our car was compound due to wrong info that the parking tenant will be on holiday for four days yet it was only one day. The owner was kind wanting to lent a hand to help us pay since the parking tenant doesn't work on weekends but we settle it our own. Be advice that there is two kind of parking zone and there is three kind of parking coupon for both zone. Also parking spot will be hard to get if you plan to come back late on weekends due to there nearby restaurants and pubs. Overall, we had a great holiday and our stay was pleasant for 4 days and 3 nights even though there was an issue of compound and parking.

Stayed for a few nights, it was valued for money, close to the malls (walking distance), clean sheets and towels, provided bottled water, and the staff was really helpful. There's also a gym at the rooftop.

Worth for money.. Cheap hotel but very clean and all thing you need for short stay have there..only it is better if have lift but with rm40 per nibght i think it really worth it.. Recommended for those want to short stay

Pro : RM40 instead of RM70 if u purchase at counter : many food nearby especially night : dobi nearby : gym upstairs but only for heavy duty : can refill water : got hot water : bintang megamall, Imperial mall & permaisuri mall in walking distance 20 minutes Cons : curtain is dusty : no mineral water (small case) : receptionist not prepare well wit my booking In short, I will stay again if got cheap deals.

The hotel is freshly remodeled, rooms are clean , staff is helpful and friendly, located in the center of town walking distance to restaurants, shopping and bars . They provide hot and cold filtered water .We originally book for two nights but extended 4 more .

I really love this hotel

Pros - room is big and clean. - nice water pressure for shower - nearby to all the restaurants and food stalls - convenient get to there by Grab or Uber. Cons - room did not provide mineral water.

I stayed there for about 4 nights. the place is still under renovations. plentiful of dust and sand. the gym is not up yet. location is better than the other two Hua kiew INN. they have 3 in total in Miri. WiFi is strong and stable. location is very near to the two big malls. mega mall and imperial city mall. walking distance.

If the wifi is important for you do not go there. The toilet smells awfull.Noisy.They accepted early check in

The condition of the hotel is just okay. As it budget hotel. Room not very clean, the coffee cup have stains, floor full of dust. Wifi is excellent. Hot shower excellent. Cable tv very bad, u cant barely see the shows. Iron have to take from reception desk and returned back to them in front office. No bottled water provide in room. Just basic amenities of toiletries. The location is the only thing i like. Walking distance from the malls.

What i can subscribe is...the Hotel place strategic, not difficult to looking for food place. i think a year already im not been check in here, the good things is, the hotel got a many rooms, add new floor on next building (same building). Got Gym too. The staff also very friendly. But i want drop my comment for response of my reservation/booking room,i have booked for 2 rooms. The day i check in, look like my reservation got false information, which they thought my reservation was cancel. Actually the 1st reservation, it was cancel due credit card problem. And i have new reservation with new booking number. this kind matter i have message to the Hotel, and they noted on it. but when it come to actual day, i think they have miss look about it. But the staff try best to giving me Double Room, thank you for not making me frustrated. Another one is Twin Room, but it change to Double Room without notify me earlier for the reason, the hotel was full.

Being impolite and rude. Forced me to comply his filthy SOP before he allowed me to stay for the night even though i had paid for the room.
