cheap and close to the train station
Yhe room was of a decent size and it was very close to both an mrt station and the railway station, which was why we stayed there. Price was good and food in restaurant was nice
It was an average stay, staff were average, room was average (bathroom wasn't great) locations was great for transport just not near any sights and if we didn't need to stay there for an early train to cambodia we wouldn't have.

no problems
secure, clean, location across road from main rail station
No problems, exceot lift out of order and I was on 5th floor. Staff I found to be a bit brusque but gave the information you wanted when pressed for it. Great cafe with good selection of food. Next door to ATM and handy to rail. Walking distance to river for food and ferries.

Very good location
location
Location was great, it is the main advantage of this hostel. Apart from that nothing special, but also not bad. I'll try to collect good and bad sides of this hostel: + (plus) + superb location, just by the exit of metro station, train station at the opposite side of the road, few minutes walk to the water tram (which can take you to all main attractions), easy access to Don Muang airport, bus 29 or train from the train station + good breakfast (but not included in room price) + good A/C + they are improoving all the time, I've read many comments and saw that some things has changed e.g. elevator was mounted, satellite tv and many more channels than before, so big plus for trying - (minus) - very noisy as it's by the main street, if you don't have window to the main street (we've been there twice) cleaning staff is also very loud, they talk, watch tv or listen to the radio (don't know exactly) from the early morning making you difficult to sleep - not very clean, the basic things are cleaned everyday as toilet or wash basin but some of them were never cleaned, e.g. dirty door to the bathroom, dirty main door, walls need refreshing, grey curtains and windows probably from the exhaust gases from the street, stains on the bed linen - internet connection quite fast but often aspecially in the evening everything hangs and you're unable to connect to hostel network at all, staff says then that sometimes it happenes and they don't know what to do (reset of wifi router would be enough) - small room, no wardrobe - poor surrounding, difficult to find some place to eat near the hotel

Good location for catching the bus
Huge standing lockers, really helpful reception, clean
Just stayed overnight to catch an early bus at the station. The person at reception was super helpful in info about bus times and how to walk to the station, which is more or less across the street. Maps available and gave directions. Only there for a few hours so can't comment on the food, but the room was cool and comfortable, and the locker massive! Even had little shampoo and soap inside, as well as a towel! A 10-15 minute walk to Chinatown.
