Location ☑️ 3-5 MINS. WALK TO BUS STOP ☑️ 5-10 MINS. WALK TO TRAIN STATION ☑️ FEW STEPS ☑️ 10 MINS. WALK TO SHOPPING CENTERS AND FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS (MALLS, RETAILS, FAST FOODS ETC.) ☑️ MILK TEA SHOPS AND CONVENIENCE STORES ARE JUST FEW STEPS AWAY FROM THE HOTEL ☑️ AWAY FROM THE HUSTLE OF TAOYUAN CENTER Hotel Service ☑️ Check in and check out were both smooth. ☑️ Receptionists were all polite and helpful (they can speak English). They will accommodate you with a smile on their faces. Upon our check out, which was at midnight, without us asking, the receptionist offered to call a taxi for us going to the airport. ☑️ Rooms are being cleaned, towels and bed sheets were changed and complimentary toiletries, coffee & tea, bottled water were refilled everyday. It feels nice to come back with a clean room after a tiring day of wandering. Though the room looks old (even the building), it's still good cause it's well maintained. ☑️ Breakfast buffet is just okay. Unli coffee is superb.

Good location (7-11 in both directions) and a bar nearby. Clean and comfortable room. Good facilities and big screen TV. Jacuzzi and nice toiletries. Big room at the price. Breakfast not good. Just okay. Though coffee is nice. Breakfast presentation (bread spreading) is bad.

The helper dont know how to smile , although it is not needed just sayjng 😊 the staff is good but dint have tour guide when we asked them .. maybe next time we will look for another hotel who can provide us or help us find tour guide . Overal good, just one issue unless using taxi getting to the hotel by bus isn't easy.”
Overall our experience was good, all staff on reception spoke good English, were Friendly and were helpful, housekeep staff were also good. The free breakfast was tasty and plenty of it. It was January during our visit and the central type AC system was good, but maybe would not be so good in the heat of summer? The only minor point was we could not find the main light switch, but then we didn't ask. The only thing working a little against this hotel was its location, its good for the main airport using either taxi or bus. Bus is a lot cheaper than but only two busses from the airport direct to Taoyoa, we used the # 5059 bus, but the pickup point in Taoyoa in front of the 7-Eleven in Fuxing Road near the Today Hotel isn't easy to find and there is no marking on the bus in English to identify it as the # 5059. bus. Bus stop to the hotel is an easy 15 min. walk, just follow Fuxing Road and hotel is on left after the flyover.

Located not too far nor too close to the train station. I wasn’t a fan of the room itself. However, the huge tub did win back some points for me. Anyway, the room is great for its price. I would recommend this place to anyone who is on a budget.

Its too hot because the ROOM Is no AIR CONDITION, the worst hotel . So very disappointed. I was calling the staff then the stop tell that there is no air-con, what the heck.

What a great find this place was!!!”
I am so happy I found this place during my latest stay in Taipei. I decided to stay here b/c I wanted to find a cheap-ish hotel near the airport. While it turned out not to be that close to the airport, it was close enough (about a 20 minutes and $600 TWD taxi ride). The surprise about the place was how good the English was from a few of the clerks behind the counter. They were very helpful in things like checking me in, directing me to an electronics store (b/c I had lost a charger in the airport), and also a situation where my contacts were damaged in the room. After bringing it up with them, they were unbelievably apologetic and helpful, when they could have easily been the complete opposite (especially for a budget hotel). Anytime I find myself needing a quick place to stay in Taoyuan, I am coming to Hua Yue! The breakfast was modest, but fairly tasty. It had four small buffet trays of stuff, usually with two or three Chinese breakfast foods, and one tray of excellent eggs. I might go back again just for those eggs alone!! The room: I had a single with a large, comfortable bed. The room comes with a large bathtub, refrigerator with bottled water, coffee/tea, and even a water fountain for hot water only! This was a great little addition, as I love to make my own instant coffee. (Also, you can just throw a cup with the hot water into the fridge for a few hours, and viola, potable/cold drinking water! Lastly, the wi-fi was amazingly fast! I was streaming videos and downloading stuff, both on my computer and phone, with great ease. What a treat to save a buck AND have the little things work so well. Again, this is truly a hidden gem if you are looking to spend less than the typical 70-90USD for a room in Taiwan. Trust me, this place will not disappoint.

Hula Yue hotel is not so near the airport though it is accessible enough through riding taxis. The taxi ride will set you back about NTD 500. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by the receptionist. Check in was a breeze and they understand basic english too just in case the guest can't speak chinese. I only have to show my hotel voucher and my passport. Afterwards, you'll be given a key with a huge keychain (which was pretty old school) but I really wouldn't complain since I deposit my keys to the reception whenever I go out. The room was bigger than I expected. Yes it was a little old but still clean enough. I wasn't expecting to have a tub but that was a welcome surprise. I also didn't expect those bottled water at my fridge to be free but they were so that's really good. I got 2 free bottled water each day of my stay. And you also get your own hot water dispenser with complementary tea or coffee sachets which they replenish everyday too. All the bathroom supplies (shampoo, soap, etc.) we're also replenished on a daily basis. They even have disposable shower caps! I find it weird though that they didn't have complimentary toothpaste. The daily breakfast is served starting at 7 until about 9am. There were decent choices of dishes but most of the them are vegetables. there's rice, congee, and bread for choice of carbs. There's tea, a coffee machine, orange juice, and wintermelon for beverages. Basically,they serve the same thing everyday. Not far from the hotel, there's Lattea (tea shops are pretty popular around Taiwan), 7-11, and Wellcome (grocery store). If you walk further there's fast food chains like KFC. The hotel is only ten minutes from the Taoyuan station. Theres also lots of stores and 2 upscale malls before the train station. You don't really have to go far for shopping. If you want to go to Taipei, a one way ticket would cost NTD42.

I am very very satisfied Hua Yue Hotel on my stay. Even it is not a new hotel, I am very impressed by (1) The room is very clean (2)The responsible management and staffs ( good breakfast and room clean team and the front desk staff). I am willing to pay more to reward their hard working staff.

as expected, great hotel for low price”
For my 3 time here in a few months, Hua Yue came through with quality and ease, as expected. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, and speak great English in an area where that is otherwise difficult to find. The young woman behind the desk gave me directions to the train station (which is just a 10 minute walk from the hotel), and even gave me directions to my hotel in Taichung where I was headed next. She did it in Enlgish for my reference, and Mandarin for my taxi! Above and beyond is all I can say. Plus, the breakfast, small as it may be, is very tasty. It has a mix of both Chinese and Western dishes, and I'd give the place a thumbs up for the breakfast alone. Overall, for around $30-40USD, this place is a hidden gem.

We first think that if we live in Taoyuan, it would be easier for us to go to Taoyuan airport in the early morning (07:XX). But, it's not. There is no bus but taxi. So, I will choose to stay in Taipei for the last day next time. And here is for the hotel....... Honestly, we only stay there for one night, so.... I can't comment a lot. But, i think Hua Yue Hotel is quite good though. Its price is cheap and we can easily find the hotel from Taoyuan station. Also, it provides breakfast(from 7:00) although we haven't tasted it. P.S. People in Taoyuan are very nice!!! Thank you!!!

take from taoyuan international airport by taxi costs below TW 600. comfort bed, all the facilities provided,included: hair dryer,shampoo, comb, everything.... if you need international charger, also can provided at the counter. breakfast provided from 7am until 11am. pay affortable price with quality room. thanks. the only disadvantage: cannot receive wifi in the room. except you stand in the door!

A bit far from TaoYuan rail station, 20 minutes walk. Walk about 10 minutes to right hand side opposite road, has bus station go to TaoYuan Airport. Room is nicely renovated, very comfortable, with hot water machine and LCD TV. Big bathtub to enjoy shower.
