Location, good value and fast internet”
After dealing with a bait-and-switch guesthouse who's name starts with a "V", we managed to book this hotel. The hotel is very close to the train station within easy walking distance to the nightlife area, restaurants and the night market. If you want to go to one of the malls, simply step across the street and wait for the green 10 Baht Songtaew....couldn't be easier. Rooms are spacious and clean but a bit dated because it's an older hotel. Even so, our room was bright and comfortable. We were greeted by kind staff and check-in was efficient. There's a 200 Baht key deposit (fair) but no elevator (lift). The WIFI was the fastest of any hotel I have visited in the world...strange but true. If you want luxury go elsewhere but if you are like us and consider a hotel room as just a base from which to do everything else, this hotel is plenty comfortable. We would not hesitate to stay here again and will likely do so as long as the price represents a good value. Thanks Euro City!
Always an OK Stay”
This is our go-to budget hotel in Hua Hin. It's close to the train station and a green 10 Baht bus to the malls can be caught about 2 minutes down the Soi. Rooms are older but brightly painted and everything was sufficient. It's not a luxury hotel. The staff were quite pleasant and we'll return if we have the chance.
worth it”
i am using dorm-room, even though the mattress is thin but it is worth for the price. Near to the Hua Hin railway station, night market and beach. No need to grab other public transport haha !
Stayed overnight for our pet cremation.”
There's a temple south of Hua Hin that does pet cremation ceremonies for donations. Instead of driving home and then another round trip the next day to pick up her remains, we decided to just stay a night in town. This saved us 3 hours of traveling and some fuel expense so it was worth it. It was a bit disappointing this time mostly because the room could not be secured. The door to the little outside balcony didn't have a locking mechanism on it or even in the openings made in the door for a dead bolt. Also, there was no drinking water in the room but everything else was satisfactory. This isn't a luxury hotel nor priced as such. It's understandable that businesses are trying to stay open during this difficult period so the drinking water thing is no big deal but it is fundamental that guests at your hotel have the means to secure their rooms, which we didn't have. We have stayed at this hotel several times and will continue to do so if it is right for us at the time.
Not the best but pretty good for Hua Hin”
At the price range, there aren't many other options in Hua Hin. This place is probably one of the better hostels although it's not perfect. Fan dorm rooms got quite hot as I was here during early May. There are only two fans in the room and half the beds don't have fan coverage and so the best spots might be taken if the room already has a few people occupying it. The location is probably the greatest selling point as it's just over 50 - 80 meters from the train station. The beach isn't a huge walk away either.
Near hua hin train station”
Pros: 1) hot water supplied for shower 2) 5 minutes walk from hua hin train station 3) the staff are nice and helpful 4) welcome drink: a small bottle of water Cons: 1) it seems that the room havent cleaned for years 2) small water pressure for shower 3) bad small from toliet 4) no tissue paper supplied
Worth it. Low price nice bed in dotms”
Would stay here again if ever came to Hua Hin second time.
Super clean”
800m walking distance from Hua Lampong MRT, not too close but worth it for the superb cleanliness, superb safety and superb facilities. The owner and staffs are the nicer
Good location ”
Location was perfect , just few minutes walk from Hua Hin railway station , and another few minutes to the city and to the beach and the night market , staff was nice , the room was really dirty and the bathroom also was dirty , air condition gives a bad smell , room is full of mosqitouis
good hotel”
the hotel maybe a little bit old but still in good facilities, the staffs are really nice and friendly. it's near Huahin station, just 2m walk and 7m to the beach.
Really worth the money and you get what you paid for”
I booked this hotel for 330 thb so its really cheap, good wifi, location is superb so close to night market and song taew (public transport) the cleanliness is not ok.. the room even has basic amenities for this price! If you pay around 350 thb for get twin bed room then its worth it.if you pay more than this i recommend you to reconsider to book again...
Good staff”
The Hotel is kinda big with many rooms. I've booked and paid in advance but upon my arrival, the receptionist told me that they could not prepare my double-room for me because the previous guest was not willing to move out. Hence, I'm kinda dissapointed at this unprofessional practice. The building is old and NOTABLY there is not ventitation in bathroom. It is awful everytime someone having a dump, the smell would spread all over the room even you turn on the air-conditioner at its full capacity. The BIG PLUS here is the behaviour of the staff, they seem kind and helpful upon any of your requirements with warm smiles . It is the reason why I did not change to another accommodation SECOND PLUS is that their English skills are quite good and they could understand 90% what guests convey. Again, the huge problem is still ventilation in the bathroom. If it is supplemented, I believe that the hostel is value for money and a pefect choice at the price level.
Very good”
Very convenient as the hotel is near the train station. Restaurants near the night market Friendly staff. Compared to the previous times, especially the dormitory rooms Bathroom remodeling But the shower room The water drained down into the pipe is not good. There was a foul smell in the closet. The room price is considered very cheap. Overall, it is considered good. Any guests staying in a dormitory room are advised to bring a padlock attached. There are lockers to keep. But the key is not locked Overall, it is considered good.
Near to train station”
Hotel is near to train station. Room is ok for a budget traveller. We did sent a request asking for an early check in thru agoda but no reply from their end. Later when we arrived at 4am in the morning, we were asked to pay for early check in which at first the lady said 300baht but later increase to 400 baht with total of 600 baht as 200 baht is for a deposit of room's key. Con: The room environment feels a bit creepy at night.
Near Train Station”
They give you water when you check in, but there was no breakfast which I thought there might be. Room was fairly empty, otherwise some of the beds are placed too close to each other so not great for when it gets packed out. Steps up 3 flights of stairs, location is very near to train station, toilets were ok bt not fantastic, overall it was ok and fairly cheap although not amazingly so.
Good value for money”
Very good value for money (agoda price). The room was big and the bed comfortable. Good internet connection. There is the opportunity to wash your clothes for 40b. The staff is nice, but their English is basic which led to some miscommunication. They can arrange a motorbike for 300b, which we thought was a bit much.
Fix it”
The staff blamed the cable company for no TV. I don't buy it. I am sure there is someone in Thailand who could set up the TVs in the hotel quickly and efficently . Cheapness or laziness , not sure which one prevailed in getting nothing done . Typical Asia , nothing new here.
Great Budget location”
Hotels a bit dated, however clean big comfortable rooms, close to all bars an restaurants, friendly staff and an easy check in. Good wifi and aircon. Ill stay here again.
Would not recommend the hotel if you have other choice”
Pros. Location was very good, very near to night market and easy to book grabcar. There were many restaurant/stalls/convenience store around. There were microwave and toaster to heat up foods. Hot water was available too. Cons. The hotel has no elevator so you have to take the stairs to go to your room. Not good for older people. The pictures advertised are only 10% correct. Toilet has very small ventilation close to none. The aircond in my first room 103 has a lot of water dripped. So i changed to another room 105 on the next morning. But the aircond never cooled. Then i changed to another room 101 which was the third room. But still there were some water dripped from the aircond. I just bared with it since it was the last night. The aisle outside of the room was messy with bed sheets during the day, while during night it was a bit creepy since its a bit dark. Internet connection was slow but better than nothing.
It's cheap, and that's it.”
Cheap, and quite close to Hua Hin Beach. No AC, only fans. Uncomfortable beds.
