good location
price was ok, location was good, food was bad
There are NO elevators in this hotel. The room was OK. The internet is expensive and very slow. The food at the hotel was not very good. The room is also very noisy. you can hear everything going on in the hall and above your room.

Very crowded with lots of kids
Location to the beach
Only stayed one night. Wanted to be close to the beach so that was worth it. Draw back was that we had a very early departure from Sanya so it was difficult to find a super early morning taxi.

HaunDao Beach Hotel Sanya
If your flying in late it is a cheap bed at best then you can move to a decent accomadation.
Toilets would not flush and shower was weak.
This hotel is located on Layong bay which is quite beautiful. However, it is a slum in comparision to other accomadations along the shore. If your flying in late it is a cheap bed at best then you can move to a decent accomadation. Toilets would not flush. I realize that I am in China but as a destination resort you would expect that someone could be schooled in English to accomadate the non-Chinese speaking tourist. No such luck. Not a soul spoke English and this made for complications. I requested a standard room with one bed. My girlfriend and I are traveling together. I as given a standard twin. The next day we crossed the street to the Holiday Inn and found it to be quite good. The only thing good about the Huan Dao was the price for a single nights late arrival.

close to the beach, but very hard bed matress
Friendly staff. The Chinese restaurant serves dim sum for break fast, and very yummy and cheap.
The bed mattress was unbelievably hard, felt it is like sleeping on the floor, so couldn't sleep well. I wouldn't stay there again because of mattresses.
It was difficult to communicate with the staff because they didn't really speak English, but very nice and friendly staff. It was close to the beach, only 5 min walk.

depend on the staff
location, attitude of bell persons.
service of front desk, restaurant.
We stayed 3nights during New Year's holiday. The location of this hotel was nice, only 3 minute walk to Yalong Beach. Bell boys were always kind to us ( but some of the front clerks were not so polite.) The room is clean, basically equipped, but soundproofing was poor. We heard sounds well from other rooms. I'd recommend this hotel if you're looking for the one with reasonable price and convenient location. However, if you don't mind paying a little more room charge, and if you want to eat at a nice restaurant, there should be better choices other than this hotel.

Schönes kleines Hotel in guter Lage ...
Morgens kommen unzählige Busse an.
