Located in the backpacker’s area, Hue Happy Homestay is 200 metres from Huong River and 800 metres from Dong Ba Market. It offers complimentary WiFi access throughout its premises. Each room and dormitory room offers air conditioning, a fan, free towel, free city map and views of the city. Regular rooms also come with cable TV and a minibar. Bathrooms are either private or shared. Guests have access to the shared kitchen, free one beer from 6pm to 9pm, fruit, tea and coffee during the time you stay. The owner can also assist with ticketing, laundry, ironing and transport rental services. The homestay is 900 metres from Trang Tien Bridge and 1.4 km from Chieu Ung Pagoda. Phu Bai Airport is 14 km away.

Best homestay in Vietnam! ”
Hue Happy Homestay is by far the best place we have stayed in Vietnam for a range of reasons. The owner is very kind and helpful, he helped us book a great transport option to Da Nang. The location is great, room was very clean, breakfast fantastic and a free beer at happy hour! I wish more homestay’s could be like this one! Stay here!

I stayed just a couple of nights at the homestay and it was great! Viet is an incredibly kind person, always asking if there's something he can help with and making sure that your stay is the best possible. The homestay is at the backpacker area close to restaurants and shops and the fact that breakfast was included on the fare was a really great value for money.

Excellent but... ”
The homestay is excellent really except eventaully the location in a shady street. Tge family running it are lovely as well. But I cannot give it an excellent grade, since they made a mistake and had to relocate me for 1 night out of the 2 booked. This made for a rough check-in as I had just arrived exhausted after riding all day from Hoi An. And the place they gave me was not pleasant as I was awakened by bug bites in the middle of the night! Back at the homestay they apologised and tried their best to make up for it but the bad was done. In the end no hard feelings and I really wished they didn't make this error because their place is fantastic and I would still recommend it!

They are so nice. They gave me everything I need. Nice breakfast, nice fruit, nice people. Location is good, a lot of restaurants and bars nearby but also quite. I slept well. And I rent a bicycle to go to the imperial city and tomb, totally not a good idea cuz it’s too tiring ...I suggest you book the city tour there if you wanna save the energy for visiting.

Great Homestay, near the center ”
We stayed only for one night, but would have stayed longer if we had more time! The owner welcomed us with some fruits when we arrived late and gave us a map of the city. The room was nice with a small balcony and had a fridge, as well. The included breakfast was very good and we could leave our luggage after check out. I would book again. Thanks for the stay!

Like home from home”
Awesome family who own this homestay and from the get go made me feel st home. I arrived early but once a bed was available viet still let me check in early. Even gave me free fruit platter and coffee while I waited. Tucked down a little back street just away from walking street and the nightlife but no noise can be heard. The free breakfast is also nice, fruit platter, tea or coffee and a choice of noodle soup or eggs how you like with bread. Definitely value for money and would happily stay here again

Owner put the effort in with me even though I was only staying one night. Alot of homestays and hostels seem less interested in past experiences. Privacy curtains in the dorms and not over crowded. Far enough down an alley to be quiet and feel like your amongst the locals. Right in the heart of the pub scene.

Very good communication. Good rooms with comfortable bed. Locker for valuables. Great breakfast. Great location, owner gives a map and marks off places to visit which was very helpful. Organised my bus to phong nha and also does tours. Lovely family run hostel, would stay here again.
