A little bit far away from the station”
We arrived early in the morning while the check in time was 3pm, and we have to pay for the locker, which was ¥800. The hotel did not provide any free luggage area for us. However, the staffs were friendly and helpful. Hotel room was okay, and they are very generous about the heater as the room was really comfortable to stay.

Gimmick hotel”
It has no very clear indication that non Japanese language traveller could only use the lady robot for self check in. The dinosaur robot was for Japanese language traveller. However, it has smart phone placed in the room for surfing Internet.

Smarthotel”
This is a interesting hotel staffed with robots. Face recognition to access our room was an excellent idea as we tend to forget to bring our keycard. The checkin and checkout was a breeze. We wanted to ask about tour and was able to access hotel staff to assist us quite quickly. The robots could speak Japanese and at least some English and Chinese. Other guests were amused by this. There is also a robot restaurant called Henn-na restaurant inside the Huis Ten Bosch. An interesting experience. Well done!

Very Different Hotel with a lot of outdoor spaces. New, clean, Breakfast good.”
My kids love the robot check in and It doesn't look like a traditional hotel. There are a few 2 storey buildings like a university hall. A lot of green area surrounding you. Check in is self service and not really robot but it doesn't work with my passport. Need their real staff to help. The room has no free tea bag or coffee. Breakfast is good. They grow their own vegetables. There is a shortcut entrance to Huis Ten Bosch but no notice or sign to tell you. On site parking is 1500 yen per day and it can do hourly charge and if you want to enjoy the free parking, you need to park near Huis Ten Bosch which is about 7 mins walk.

Very good”
This is a nice choice hotel for people who travel to Huis Ten Bosch cause you can get discount theme park ticket if you stay in the group of Huis Ten Bosch resorts. Great experience to check-in and check-out with robot. There are a lot of automatic machine for selling foods and drinks provided in the lobby. Room is a bit small and robot in the room is so noisy, she keep talking all the time. Breakfast is served in the white building, inside all white, looked clean. Many choices of foods.

First stay at a robot hotel.”
Interacting with Japanese robots is a bit getting used to, but it's a new experience altogether. Check-in time is at 3pm and none of the 2 robot receptionists will interact with guests before that time. If you arrive before 3, somebody from the back room may come out to answer your questions or you can just leave your luggage at the robot cloakroom, then head to the parks. By the way, it's a quite a walk from the main areas although it's still inside Huis Ten Bosch. HTB is huge so be prepared to walk a lot or bike. This hotel is very new, just opened July 2015 methinks. The room size is spacious compared with other Japanese rooms. Toilets have a bath too and the water is piping hot and strong. There's a Japanese doll that can control the lights, alarm, tv, aircon but unfortunately, it can't take commands in English yet. We had difficulty trying to turn on the air conditioner only to find out later that they only have heaters and no aircon. So we opened the window a bit but the night wind was too cold so we shut it again. Breakfast can be had at an adjacent restaurant but you have to pay separately. Since we checked out early, we just made do with a hot rice meal from the vending machine at the lobby. This hotel has no staff greeting you, etc, so everything is very quiet. Oh, they also use face recognition system. If you register your face, you can use it instead of your key card for entering your room. Nice touch!

Good for 1 time experience!”
Clean room. My kids enjoyed "talking" to the robot in the room. There's a hotel shuttle bus provided at the bus stop near Huis Ten Bosch but its also within walking distance about 10mins

Not value for money”
Decent hotel with excellent breakfast. We had fun using the self check-in machines, observing the robotic cloakroom, and interacting with Churi-chan, the adorable robot in our room who can sing songs and tell you the weather. However, the room was small. We believe that you can stay at higher-quality hotels at the same price.

Stayed here because of the robots”
Bed, room and bathroom were fine. Checking in was fun too. Although I was quite shocked was that I could not store my luggage for less than 2 hours without paying 500 yen for each luggage. This is quite ridiculous in my opinion as this is not a budget hotel that is lacking space( wait a min, even the budget hotels that I have stayed have never charged me for holding my luggage for a few hours) That was perhaps the only thing I was rather unhappy about, other than that, everything was good.

Free Parking is located 10 min walk away for hotel guests. But side gate entrance to the theme park is just located at the hotel backyard. Advanced technology used in the hotel.

A little maddening... Confusing check-in and a spartan room... No TV? No phone? And "smart" lights that you can't control? Maddening...
