Absolutely charming hotel in a Great location”
We couldn’t have had a better visit - from the helpful and friendly check in (thanks Jacob!) to the car being ready within minutes every time (thanks valets), to the front desk staff always being helpful and accommodating. I used to live in LA but it was my partner’s first visit and it was Perfect! We stayed on the 16th floor with a view of the water, the city, and the Hollywood Hills. Lovely. Merci! Gracias! We’ll be back.

Amazing Hotel in Santa Monica ”
My husband and I were at The Huntley for our 10th wedding anniversary, the hotel and staff (Jonathan, Carlos and especially Joanne) went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. We dined in The Penthouse Restaurant, where Lisa our hostess ensured that the service was excellent, as was the food. The room we had was great, and I would recommend The Huntley to anyone going to stay in Santa Monica.

An absolutely beautiful hotel in a great location. We would have loved a pool as we were travelling with 2 young children but everything else was perfect. The penthouse, restaurant upstairs is also amazing and definitely worth checking out. We would love to visit the Huntley Santa Monica again

Perfect end of a holiday in California ”
Wonderful hotel. The hotel has probably recently been renovated because everything looks just perfect and gives you this quality feeling. The staff is very friendly, the views are stunning, the location is excellent (the beach is just around the corner, shops and plenty of good restaurants nearby). We traveled through California and after madhouse Las Vegas, The Huntley was our final stop before flying home and we just loved it. Can imagine that my description sounds a little exaggerated if it is all so positive, but I honestly could not find a thing to complain about... : )

Very Disappointing ”
We arrived to our Suite to find that the toilet had not been cleaned, urine was on the seat and floor. Not a great start. The roof top bar has beautiful views if you can get a seat as this is open to everybody, the hotel does not put aside any tables for guest, when asked about the table arrangements we were told it was first come first served, again very disappointing. Due to the public being able to access all floors to the hotel we found on 2 occasions groups on men outside our door, when discussed with the front desk they just assured me that there was CCTV on all floor levels, not that this was keeping there guests up to the early hours or that was any problem with this. All in all I would not recommend or return to The Huntley hotel as there are far better hotels for the same money in Santa Monica.

Would definitely stay agin”
This place is in a good location not far at all from the 3rd Street Promenade. Rooms are clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable. Shower was great, the pressure was one of the best out of any hotel I have stayed in. The only small thing that bugged me was the time to check out. We paid cash for incidentals and even though the mini bar has pressure sensors we still had to wait for someone to go and check the the mini bar before check out could be completed. Other than that I would definitely stay here again.

Valet parking is expensive, location is very good, hotel facilities excellent,too many fees”
Valet parking costs almost 47 dollars, when I checked in they blocked 400 dollars which they claim that it’s for any services i would use otherwise it will be refunded to me, when i was checking out they asked for 25 dollars for each night for providing hotel facilities like news paper and other facuwhich i didn’t use and it was not in the original reservation agree. The hote valet service was not that professional as when in was in the lobby asking him to bring my car he asked me to come to him and give him the ticket eventho he was 7 meters away from me. Absolutely loved this hotel, very clean and friendly staff with beautiful rooms. Just avoid room 1510 as the noise from the lifts is quite intrusive, but we’re moved with no problems

Good location, staff are nice. Booked a room with Breakfast, and only got $50 value. Rooms are old out dated. Couldn't accomodate for late check out which was disappointing.

Save your money and go for breakfast”
View from the top is incredible and the food is really delicious, although I only had the breakfast. The hotel itself I found to be only so so and therefore for the cost its not worth staying there. Staff were robotic and not particularly friendly and the cleaners were full on and didn't always clean everything (I noticed from a takeaway food mark I had left is probably still there). Also and in particular the noise pollution from the fridge, the bad electronic feedback from the connections behind the unnecessary fancy dimmer switches and my broken toilet which constantly ran. So all in all my stay was mediocre. I'd save the money and stay somewhere for less but definitely go there for breakfast and enjoy the amazing views on the top floor!
