Such a wonderful cruise experience with Huong Hai Sealife and accommodating staff especially Mr Le, Mr Ha, Ms Sunny and Ms Linh...I highly recommend this cruise as I noticed every cabin is fully furnished with private balcony and luxury standing Bathroom especially the jacuzzi facilities.

Our stay was good and the food was good to average, with the continental breakfasts a little bit unexpected. Passengers and staff interaction was good, the cruise director, known at the end of the trip to all of the passengers as "grasshopper"for the morning leading of the Tai Chi sessions. All in all this cruise on the Huong Hai Sealife delivered and is recommended

So impressed staff , room , food, only did single night ,wish so much we had booked two nights ,We were so glad we spent little more on this cruise breathtaking the caves ,the way the staff spoil you and have genuine care for your stay ,treated like royalty recommend it so high ,lots of other boats there this boat not so old and we worried of safety ,the boat was very safe ,I work as a merchant seaman in Australia,,when I first booked there were no reviews on sealife cruise so took a gamble ,But honest is so so great ,impress your lady and take this wonderful cruise ,, thanks staff best memories , cheers

Masterful Taichi Master”
Have to say that the trip left some memorable moments, e.g. kayaking around one of the islets, mimicking taichi moves demonstrated by the masterful staff (who did it like a master) while having the viet sunrise warming up your back & surrounded by the islets. Good trip and have to say good food as well. However, personally believe the dinner (2D1N) can be improved upon; it is a little too fusion-ish (asian + western) and did not have a strong theme and thus lose its chance to impress cruise-goers of both asian and western decent. Besides that, I don't mind going on this cruise with Huong Hai again.

Everything was fantastic! The cruise itself was great, we enjoyed the food on the cruise alot and the view was breathtaking (I highly suggest choosing the quieter and cleaner route of Bai Tu Long Bay route instead of the more popular route on Ha Long Bay route) finally, the selling point for me was that the staff on the cruise were all so helpful and humble (our favorite was Viet, hopefully you all have a pleasure to meet him) We felt extremely well taken care of the entire time. This was the best choice for our Hanoi trip, I highly recommend this!

DO NOT USE THIS BOAT IF YOU'RE VEGETARIAN ”
Oh I wanted to LOVE every part of this experience. This cruise get's such amazing reviews and our experience was really great except when it came down to our dining experience. I had previously informed the company that I don't eat meat/seafood but I will eat fish and my boyfriend won't eat seafood. So easy peasy, both no seafood and one no meat. When we were in the transfer they asked us about our dietary needs. Again I told them. When we arrived at the port we were asked AGAIN. So you can imagine my complete surprise when we were asked again when we got onto the boat, once more at the dining table and then I was served meat. It was the most bizarre thing. The rest of the meal was actually disgusting. I didn't eat anything. I got 2 soup courses (one of which was mashed potato) and a plain omelette. This is supposed to be 5* dining. It was inedible. My boyfriend is a private chef and was completely outraged at the standard. The second day I received 2 omelette courses (after being served bacon and sausages at breakfast time after telling them a 7th and 8th time) The final evening the chef seemed to get his act together, maybe he just needed to be told a grand total of TEN times. I managed to enjoy 2 courses out of 5. It was my boyfriends 30th birthday and they made a huge fuss of him with a cake which was ridiculously yummy. The food made for a very frustrating part of the cruise because the dining experience was something we were really looking forward to. All in all the cruise was an amazing experience but if you don't want to eat 5 courses of fish and crustaceans you're pretty screwed. Not worth the money considering I only ate about £10 worth of food the entire three days. ALSO you MUST do 2 nights and 3 days... one night is not long enough.

This was my second time to Halong Bay but first time taking 5 stars cruise, staffs performance is excellent, Jackie, manager of the cruise very take care of their guests, according to him, many staffs are new but i find they are all very well trained.... cruise condition is clean n good, every room has its own balcony, we really have a pleasant stay there, i saw many comments about the meals, for us the 4 meals are just nice, Keep it up

Great service except the shuttle”
The manager Jakky was so great for all guests with his nice smile. Foods on the board were perfect with their good quantity and quality. Although the shuttle from hanoi to Hao long Bay has inconvenient 3 back seats that make my family get tired and the driver was not much kind, I totally recommend this awesome cruise for all of you to enjoy the Haolong Bay.

Memorable experience onboard Huong Hai Sealife”
We had an enjoyable experience at Halong Bay staying onboard for 3 days and 2 nights. The cabins were nice and comfortable and the large window a big plus, as you could watch the wonderful scenery and the beautiful karsts just sitting on your bed. Each cabin had also a small balcony with table and chairs. At first the programme seemed to be a bit too much, but we soon realised that there were people staying just for one night and their programme was a bit different from ours. The big ship went back the second day to take the 1-night cruisers back and bring some new people onboard, so we spent our second day on a day junkie and did some kayaking and swimming on a couple of tiny beaches. We were only 6 people onboard, it was very relaxing cruising the bay and sunbathing on the sun deck. If you choose a 2-night cruise, be aware that the second day involves kayaking around a small island. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly! Thank you Viet and Kien for a wonderful stay!

We were recommended this cruise by our hotel we were staying at. Have to say it was a fantastic experience! Jacky and the crew provided an excellent service and the itinerary of our two day cruise was perfect. The bedroom was in good condition and the jacuzzi bathroom provided a nice touch. The food and entertainment were also key highlights. Definitely do the kayaking when you have the choice. Very glad we chose this cruise!

A little underwhelmed by experience”
Ha Long is beautiful of course, but overall we were a little disappointed after reading these reviews. Firstly though, the staff are friendly and helpful, but the cruise needs to focus on the customers relaxing and enjoying the bay, opposed to all their activities. Perhaps I didn't read the details carefully enough, but certainly felt that they you have to do their activities when all you want is to sit on sun deck, have a drink and cruise the through the bay. Instead the only cruise is to one part of bay when departing and returning to wharf, and the boat is only used as the "Mother Boat", so any cruising will be done on smaller boat. They take you on a tour of cave they you really never get to appreciate, and leave you on the beach without any access to drinks or foods, then call you when to leave. In my opinion, this wasn't the cruise experience I was expecting, much more like being in the trailer/teaser of the experience just to get a taste. Sorry for this comment to the nice manager, but wish we had of made our once in a lifetime experience with someone else. Dinner was good, the rest was 50/50.

We did the 2 days tour (it seemed enough for us) but you can't see time passing ! Halong bay is just incredible and the cruise works to make this moment unforgettable. The rooms are great because you have a balcony and your bed lead to the window so you can fall asleep and wake up with this magical view. The food was good and the staff adapts the menu if you're vegetarian. As activity, we did the kayaking and I recommend it because it's really peaceful (exhausted anyway)

The staff and the manager (Jackie) were extremely helpful, and just really take care of their guests. Make sure to request or ask them of anything special you might require. The program didn't feel rushed and the planned activities were fun. Food was delicious and nicely presented. Loved having a balcony, and would recommend this cruise to anyone looking to book!

Nice way to experience Halong Bay”
We had a very relaxing stay with excellent service by the crew. All meals were catered but the food was average except the first buffet lunch. It was a smooth ride as the cruise is bigger than most other junks in the area. The booking description should be made clearer to reflect the fact that children aged 5-11 will need to pay 50% of adult price.
