Ok for price
Cleanliness, location. price
The room was a little bit small but ok for money. It is one of the cheapest places you can find in the island. We didnt get our room clean the first day and everything was full of sand all the time but I guess it was our fault. The shower water is not clean it taste like sea water but I also guess all the hotels have the same water service. The staff were not there all the time and I thought they were going to be a little bit more helpful but as I said you get what you paid and it was ok room for our stay in phi phi island

Perfect for a few nigths for this price
Although It is located in the centre, it is really quiet.Very clean.
the hotel is a perfect accomodation for a few nights for this price. It is located in the centre, but very quiet. the hostlady was very friendly, and the room was very clean. If you stay just for a few nights that is good place to choose.

Nice getaway to fun-filled island on a budget
Clean room, good location, inexpensive room rate.
On a budget and just needing a clean room with bath attached to spent the night in, this small hotel is adequate for any undemanding guest. Although a little noisy, as expected of a place that's situated in an alley, the plus points of Hussin House are easy access to shops, restaurants, cafes, beaches and short distance to boat pier.

Will stay again !
Location, wifi, clean
Great stay here, we booked an extra 2 nights. It is a very small guest house right in the centre of Koh Phi Phi, although the island The island is so small nothing is ever more than a ten minute walk. The room was a nice size with wifi, aircon, satellite TV, fridge an wardrobe/beauty area. The owner was a lovley Thai lady. There was noise from the street but as phi phi is very small this will happen everywhere. Great little bakery opposite for that morning cuppa. Had a great stay on a beautiful island.

Better accommodation elsewhere
practical, good location
The location is very near Tonsai pier, making it convenient for people with big bags coming from the ferry and for transfers from other islands/beaches as all boats stop at the pier. Another plus is that it is mid-way between Tonsai and Loh Dalum. The disadvantage is that the street is very ordinary, with shops and restaurants very near, making it quite noisy especially early morning and late evening (until 23:00 or so). Our room was basic but very practical- a double bed with comfy pillows, good working a/c, nice flat screen TV, fridge and en-suite bathroom. The 'reception' is basically just a desk outside of the room and the 'house' is a collection if 4 rooms I believe, 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs (we were downstairs). However the lady/manager/owner was very arrogant. She refused to clean our room during our 5 nights and when I once asked if she was going to clean/change towels/give us additional toilet paper 1) it was very difficult to make myself understood due to her not understanding English 2) she seemed offended and went to clean room angrily. When we returned, we found our room perfectly clean but with a paper that room is cleaned only between 8am-noon. Nevertheless, it was never cleaned anymore after that day.

Suprisingly poor service based on price
Clean hotel
on arrival we were told that the hotel was fully booked out and were escorted by one of the staff member to another hotel about 300m away. the other hotel was dingy and the rooms were very small. i refused to accept the room and the staff member contacted somebody over the phone. we were lead back to hussin house and taken to a hussin house room that was already made up and ready for us to move in. very strange as 10 minutes earlier their were no rooms, perhaps it was because i used the word "agoda" and the staff were worried about a poor review. travelers beware of this type of thing happening again. the rooks of hussin house themselves were good value for money.
