Good homestay in a lovely family ”
Very nice place, the room was big and clean, the owner was really helpfull, can speak english and took tome to explain us a lot a things. It is just a bit far from the centre and the services are a bit expensive. But we had a great journey there, People are so friendly in this town !

Lovely rooms and kind host”
We had a wonderful time at Trung's homestay. The location is great, with lovely views of the mountains, and all of the rooms are very spacious, spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. This is one of the rare 'homestays' that really is a homestay, where you are living with the family, and having dinner with them if you choose, which we really valued. Trung is a very kind and helpful host. We were planning on leaving after one night to go on a three-day trek which we had prearranged - however when this trek fell through due to difficulties with our guide, Trung immediately welcomed us back (upgrading us to an even nicer room at no extra charge!). He helped us at the last minute to organise a one-day trek with his friend, and took us himself on a lovely motorbike tour the following day to see a local market and some forests. Both the rooms and the activities were very good value, and we were so glad we were staying here - it really made our trip to Bac Ha memorable.

Exceptional”
This was most definitely our favourite stay in Vietnam. The host is spectacular and the accommodation was top notch! Huy Trung & his family were so friendly, helpful and went out of their way to ensure our stay was the best! We enjoyed very much the motorbike ride up the mountain and the huge hike up and around the mountains to experience amazing vistas and meet the Hmong people during our hike. We had a really thrilling day on the back of bikes to travel through such remote beauty and take in the Can Cau Saturday market. This was a real highlight being witness to such amazing traditions of the Hmong people! Thank you so very much Huy Trung for making this so memorable! Highly recommended!

A real family homestay walking distance from the city center”
We only stayed one night and then we (regrettably) moved to a another "so called ethnic" homestay that missed the Huy Trung family atmosphere. We had a delicious dinner and a nice conversation with the whole family.

Very clean and nice surrounding ”
Nice surrounding with a good view from the roof top. Mr Trung explained how he made the walls of his extended home. Very eco friendly making use of materials readily available in the region. Dinner cooked by Mrs Trung was delicious and one of the vegetable dish was vegetable from their garden.

Lovely Host”
The home stay was a little difficult to find but once there it was like an oasis near the centre of tow. Disappointed as we booked the room with private pool but it was not available for use due to water restrictions for the garden. Room was very comfortable with good amenities, more pillows would be good. Family who host the homestay were lovely, providing dinner for guests and celebrating with some rice wine. Nothing was too much trouble and they would race into town if you needed anything. Coffee here was probably the best i had in Vietnam.

Wonderful homestay, great room and owner”
+ hospitality of family + friendly owner who will do his best to assist you + new room, everything clean - property under construction (can be noisy) We stayed only 1 night but it worth it. We rent a motorbike so we could be flexible and go to town any time (by walk quite far). Be aware that owner is making reconstruction in up floor so could be noisy, but we understood his situation to invest any income to finish more rooms. Anyway we left in the morning and coming back evening for trekking or trips. Room was the cleanest we have seen during our trip as it is brand new. He recommend us wonderful tour on motorbike through local villages and rice fields. I would stay again as in town there are not good quality choices...

Frühstück und Abendessen im Kreise der Gastgeberfamilie ist etwas besonders gutes. Die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse ist grandios. Ein paar m muss man in das Städtchen hinunterlaufen.

Geweldige homestay!”
Bij het verblijf bij Huy word je volledig opgenomen in het gezin, allemaal hele lieve mensen! Huy neemt je graag digitaal mee in zijn dorp en omgeving, hij heeft prachtige filmpjes gemaakt. Ook vertelt hij graag meer over waar hij vandaan komt en hoe ze leven. De kamer is prima, de bedden comfortabel en de badkamer heerlijk groot met goede douche.

Mooie ruime klassieke kamer, lekker licht. Zitje buiten, klein zwembad aanwezig. Helemaal geweldig. Goed engels sprekende, aardige en geïnteresseerde eigenaar . Maar ook ruimte voor jezelf.

Happy atmosphere”
今回は一人旅、しかも日曜マーケットに合わせて一泊しかできませんでしたが、家族経営でありながら三ツ星ホテルに勝るとも劣らない設備。その上家族経営ゆえのアットホームな雰囲気の中快適に過ごさせていただきました。次回はもっと長く滞在したいと思います。 I'm a solo traveller who stayed at Huy Trung Home Stay just for one night to coincide the Sunday Market. Although the place is called Homestay, the facilities, I felt, is comparable to 3 star hotels. Because of family run business, the environment is quite relaxing and made me feel 'at home'. Would sure like to return to the place for longer stay.

Gia đình mình 4 người với 2 trẻ nhỏ ở phòng Lovely. Qua 3 ngày 2 đêm cùng Huy Trung Homestay có vài nhận xét cá nhân. 1) Phòng sạch, đẹp, tiện nghi(có tới 3 giường ngủ, bàn ghế phòng khách, bàn làm việc, 2 nhà vệ sinh)--> mình có ý định ăn cắp mẫu này cho ngôi nhà tới(đã xin phép kiến trúc sư anh chủ Trung). 2) Giá cả rẻ quá so với những gì nhận được(có thể tham chiếu của mình không chuẩn khi mình so với khách sạn ở các vùng khác) 3) Phục vụ nhiệt tình với phong cách Homestay. Anh chủ và gia đình dành rất nhiều thời gian chuẩn bị bữa tối+đưa đoàn tham quan, thưởng thức ẩm thực,... 4) Cạn lời Sau những gì đã trải nghiệm, gia đình và đoàn dự định sẽ tới Bắc Hà và Huy Trung Homestay vào mùa hạ năm 2021.
