Basic hotel in downtown Najran”
Friendly staff, good location, clean
First off, be clear that this is not part of the Hyatt chain of hotels. That wasn't an issue for us, but the name is likely to fool people. If you want to stay at a chain, there's a Holiday Inn in Najran. The Hyatt Najran is a basic hotel, with good staff. The rooms are a little worse for wear. For example, the carpet next to one of the beds had obviously been burnt at one point while there was a strong, sewer gas smell coming from the toilet. That doesn't take away from the hotel's staff cleanliness, which was very good. The breakfast here was very basic--almost too basic, as I think this was the first time I've even been to a breakfast in the Kingdom where foul or hummus was not an option. And, while they had a menu, the food choices at night were limited to the buffet. Would I stay here again? Possibly, although I'd be inclined to try somewhere else in the city, just to be able to compare.
