It was my first visit to Eugene. The surrounding malls were well-equipped, making it comfortable to spend time there. It became a good memory.
The staff was kind, but our room wasn't ready and then wasn't available. Despite having been told 3pm was a guaranteed check-in time. So, we went from a King, nice suite to a double queen with a building view. :( The receptionist smelled and the front desk was just laptops and dusty standing desks. The parking and elevator situation is a bit of a maze. Many guests were lost with us. So they could use better signage. There's NO room service. And just getting a menu was a run around. :( I may give it another chance with better amenities. And I would recommend this place, but last in relation to other local "higher end" hotels even though it's closer to shopping etc.

My original booking was for two nights and I needed to extend it. My room type was sold out but the wonderful man at the front desk spent his time to switch things around so I was able to stay in the same room. It was a great kindness to someone displaced by home construction.
