Exceptional”

Location was perfect for sightseeing around DC without needing a car or even riding the metro much. We walked back to the hotel late each night without ever feeling unsafe. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room was clean and had plenty of space. Only downside was the frequent sirens and noise outside the hotel, but that would be the case with any hotel in the city.

Great location for sight seeing”

Not a lot of choice for eating places around the hotel in walking distance. Everything closes in the evening before sunset, including the DD nearby. Not too tourist friendly in this way. Otherwise a great location and hotel.

Just OK”

Not good or bad. Not a bad location, on backside of White House. Fairly easy to get around. Not many restaurants close by, very loud, McPherson park is steps away and filled with homeless people. Breakfast… we experienced crispy pancakes. Gym fairly nice Room was spacious, heater was incredibly loud.. Shower had pressure issues and the pipes howled as the shower head shook as though it was ready to fly off or implode from behind the wall. To be fair, not terrible, was Clean.

Great Location”

White house is 2 blocks away, national mall is a walking distance. Perfect location. My only complain is the house keeping, nobody came and clean our room in all 3 nights stay. We requested for bed change, they left bed sheets on the chair and did not bother to change our sheets. So put the sheets ourselves and it did not fit the bed. We called back and requested new set of sheets, house keeper came and just drop the bed sheets off. I guess it’s DIY bed change. lol, but all in all it’s a good hotel.

Hotel's front is undergoing some renovation so presented a poor look, facilities very poor so overall very disappointing one day stay for 3 couples!!!

Bad experience in Hyatt Place DC/White House”

I stayed there on December 2022 which was in Winter.. I was informed that the heater was broken and no hot water.. The hotel staff did not give any compensation or any solution to guests (e.g. provide us with kettle or something similar) I mean it was winter on December. They should anticipate or compensate the guests who came from faraway esp. overseas who are not used to the cold weather

Great Location, Beautiful Room”

Just a short walk to the White House. Location is top notch. Staff are friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast had a big and delicious spread. Room was surprisingly spacious and beautiful. Just a small comment that the bathroom door need to be adjusted as we had difficulty opening opening it. Other than that, the place was perfect

I love everything here. Very friendly staff. Nice accommodation. Great room. Amazing rooftop bar. Clean and comfy bed and everything. Very close to the White House. Easy for taking the metrorail (McPherson Sq station). Close to good cafes and restaurants. Superb place to stay in DC!
