Clean place to stay for business travel”
Pros: very clean and quiet room, no problems with room, great location next to MARTA station for airport access and downtown. Staff was nearly invisible, but efficient. Out of the three adjacent hotels, this seemed to be the best one. Negatives: Slow internet without extra charge. Uninspiring and expensive food offerings inside hotel, and few food offerings outside of hotel on weekdays after 4 PM. Unfortunately, the Polaris revolving lounge was closed during my stay, along with another lounge and the outdoor pool. Unique features: 1960s era hotel with interesting foyer inside. Radius tower is a glass cylinder with sector-shaped rooms whereas remaining hotel consists of 3 concrete boxes. Hotel is connected with elevated walkways to adjacent buildings, including a Marriott, a Hyatt, an indoor mall with a subway station and two office towers. Hotel is within walking distance to the downtown Atlanta attractions, and Emory hospital and Georgia Tech are next on the MARTA subway.

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay, and our great downtown neighborhood. We hope you'll come back again!
If it’s a good deal, there’s a reason why”
We ended up in what seems like a little exclusive section off to the side away from the main elevator. If you get a room in the main section, I’m sure it’s fine. Make sure you don’t get a room in the crappy section where the room smells like smoke, is just big enough to fit a queen bed, and has a GORGEOUS view of what looks like abandoned rooftop construction. Stay at Aloft down the street for the same price.

Parking ”
The hotel doesn’t have parking, so I had to pay an extra 50$ for valet or 25$ for public parking per night. If account the difference in price u can actually get better hotel for with parking for same price.

Downtown ATL sucks”
The hotel has seen better days, and downtown Atlanta is a pit. There was literally a shooting right in front of the hotel in broad daylight on the day that I was checking out. I had to use a different exit to leave the hotel.

Ok...I guess”
I chose this hotel because it was in a walking distance to where I had to go, so I thought I could save on parking fee. The hotel offers a balet parking, which is $50 per night. I wandered a bit to find the front desk. The room seemed ok, but I noticed red dots, in the bathroom walls, and on the desk lamp. There was the same red in the shower which I tried to cover up with the bathmat, but the end of the bathmat was red too. I noticed a rolled up towel underneath the bathroom stand, which I guess a previous guest hided, so I thought to pull it out, but stopped when I saw a dot of red on that towel as well. Had to use earplugs at night when the baby next room cried, but otherwise mostly quiet. Overall it's not terrible for a quick visit, but the creepy dinginess turned me off.

Hyatt Regency”
I loved our stay at the Hyatt. It was an easy walk with small children to the Coke factory, the Georgia Museum, and the CNN Center. Loved that the mall was attached to the hotel, too. I didn't give 5s overall because the floor had something sticky and for the five days I was there the stickiness was too.

Parking Rip Off / Overated Polaris / Unsafe Streets”
Hyatt charged $45 for overnight valet parking and does not offer an alternative more economical self parking option. The website does not display the parking fees. It is tourist trap for people that are unable to seek out other parking locations. The Hyatt Hotel boast of their 22nd FL view at its Polaris Restaurant and how amazing it its, although it isn't even on the floor it claims.. I found it to be rather meager and the fact that the hotel's elevators do not have a 13th floor is a valid example of its deception. The Polaris restaurant rotates, however there are other restaurants near by that rotate at a much higher floor. The location of the hotel is convenient to city center attractions. Unfortunately, homeless people, drunks, and beggars roam the streets at night and ask for money. This is not a cause of neglect from Hyatt, but it is a concern for anyone walking out of their hotel. I will not return.

Above average”
We stayed for a conference to be held at the Marriott across the street. We were asking for directions to the Marriott and were literally told to take the skywalk and nothing else. We were lost for an hour. During that hour we came back to the Hyatt to ask for help. Both times we were told the same thing and we asked for more details and were told "I don't know". We also received no help at the front desk when checking out. We saw two customer service people at the desk. One was speaking with another employee, not sure if it was business?? The other looked like they were maybe trying to sign into the computer but also onto their phone?? We approached the second person to see if we could leave our bags somewhere for a couple of hours. We were abruptly told "I am still signing onto my computer, I cannot help you" And were told to go back and wait. VERY RUDE!

Faded Hotel”
The hotel has seen better days. Years ago. While not shabby it certainly is depressing. The place badly needs a makeover. The lobby is sterile with hardly any place to relax. At best the hotel can be described as functional. It is certainly not a pleasant place in which to enjoy Atlanta.
