The facility is well maintained. It’s location is good. Boston itself is pricey and for a tourist, not a place to drive in. With that, this place is well within the norm for pricing. The staff is superb. They are friendly and want to help. We had a couple of minor issues and they literally jumped on them. They want you leaving happy and succeed. Highly recommended. If you get a room with a view of the Charles River your view will be spectacular.

Son’s admission ”
Hotel was very good but there was a fire alarm in the morning at 7:30 am so we had to come down and evacuate that was truly an inconvenience.

Nice location overlooking the Charles River 15 minutes from Logan Airport. Within walking distance to MIT. Great, but expensive, breakfast buffet. Nice fitness center facilities.

Good comfy stay in Boston”
Good hotel with all facilities you wish for. Clean and tidy, staffs are friendly. Not far from MIT. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel (only 1 bus passes every 20-30 minutes) but far from every other public transports (at least 15-20 minutes walk away). So going to the city can take more time and some good planning (unless you Uber).

Facility is well located, but food services could be better. We had to call down two days in a row for bath towels. And $45 daily for hotel parking garage is insane.

It's...just ok.”
Pros: clean (at least my room was) and warm. Easy to get an Uber. Cons: the staff members ARE friendly but super unprofessional— loudly making personal calls on hotel phones, loudly discussing topics that are a sure HR violation in clear earshot of guests. Lost my mail as well— got a message to pick up a postcard (my girlfriend sent one). Front desk couldn't find it and said they would call. Didn't call. Went again the next day (day shift), and the manager remembered slipping it under my room door. Either they didn't and lost it, or they did and cleaning staff threw it out, as it wasn't there when I walked in. I stayed here 19 days so I got a good sense of the vibe: sloppy is the best descriptor. Note: I'm not saying they were unfriendly: hence 3 stars. But wow. So incredibly unprofessional. I stayed in hotels 120+ nights last year and the this Hyatt was definitely in the bottom 10% in terms of staff training.

We went to Hayatt Cambridge for my wife’s birthday. I got a good recomendetion about it, but everything was beyond my expectation. Very nice, clean and organized place with a very polite and helpful crew. I strongly recommend it.

Good value and family friendly”
A fairly typical hotel but good value for money, given that most downtown hotels were twice as expensive. Appreciate that staff was responsive and sympathetic - first room we were assigned had a flooded carpet in front of the bathroom. One phone call to the front desk and they immediately moved us.

The staff is nice and helpful. You can also ask for car rental and pick up the car at the hotel. Also you can return the car to the hotel, which is really convenient.

Clean, comfortable stay. Breakfast buffet was extensive and fantastic. The shuttle to the train/subway was great - but ensure you get there early as they don't wait around!
