Generally all good ”
All good, shuttle to and from Shinjuku-Ku station is awesome. Standard room is ok if u don’t mind standing in tub for shower and small toilet. Staff is extremely polite and obliging. A very pleasant stay indeed. The hotel has a pool, spa and gym. Gym is small and warm (the sun heat comes right in) on sunny days. It’s especially warm if you are on the treadmill after 8am. The huge lobby is impressive and the hotel bakery in the lobby and 7-11 store as well as train station in basement of hotel is very convenient.

Nice hotel with great staff ”
The hotel is quite far from the shopping district but they offer a shuttle service right in the Odakyu shopping district. It runs every 20 min so made it quite convenient. The staff on the reception was very accommodating but the restaurant staff was not so good. The hotel needs renovation. Otherwise, it was a good hotel considering they accommodated a 3rd person in our room with no charge.

Located on top of Tochomae Station and one-stop from Shinjuku Station. V convenient to get around. Love the Family Mart located at basement for post-dinner snacks and drinks. Staff is friendly and very professional. Room could accommodate 3 super single beds. Definitely recommend to friends. Would like to check out Club Floors next time.

Riding on their name”
Hotel is okay but there are lots of nice hotels in Tokyo at much better price points. For tourism, it's just out of reach of anywhere noteworthy so requires a 10min walk or taxi ride. Suggest tourists stay in more central locations and save cash. Rooms also need a revamp, ours were out of the 90's

Not so value for money”
For the same or much lower rates one can get other choices within the vicinity. Tokyo is so well connected via its metro it makes no sense to fork out so much for a 4 star. The staff are super friendly but they are typical of Japanese anyway.

Staff great, location not ideal”
Whilst this is in Shinjuku it is someway from the action of Shinjuku. It is in a business area and about a 15 minute walk from the station and from the restaurants and bars that surround it. The hotel itself was perfectly fine and the staff were typically great being Japanese. The pool is weird and not really that practical being only a metre deep. They also made you wear a swimming cap presumably for hygiene reasons which was a bit strange, but this is Japan. After all. For me the location was a bit of a let down, and would have preferred somewhere like Shibuya, but if you are just here for a business trip, this hotel would be quite fine.

Old hotel but spacious”
We got the corner room and it was spacious. We had shuttle bus to get to the station which was a bonus.

Great hotel in Shinjuku”
Our 4-night stay at Hyatt Regency Tokyo was great. I travelled with my wife and 2 young sons (4 yr old and 2 yr old). We stayed at a twin bed room. The room was spacious as our 2 sons kept running around the room. The reception and concierge were very helpful especially to guiding us how to get to the tourist destinations we wanted to go. They also gave us options as to which train transfer were most convenient for us given that we were travelling with kids. The hotel is 1 train station away from the Shinjuku station but it's not a problem. The hotel provides for free shuttle service to the shinjuku station every 20 minutes. The hotel is located beside the Metropolitan Government Office where tourists are free to go up their Observatory. They have the North and South Observatory where you can see almost the whole of Tokyo. You can even see Mount Fuji from afar. There is also a small park at the back of the hotel if you want to go for a run in the morning.

Clean and Comfortable”
Clean room with comfortable bed. Train station neatest is Tochomae, which open till 11pm (Japan time). Hotel provides shuttle bus to Shinjuku Station as well. Last shuttle bus from Shinjuku to hotel is 9:50pm (Japan time). Very convenient and easy to travel everywhere in Tokyo when u stay at this hotel. Hyatt Regency Tokyo is the perfect hotel to stay in Tokyo. :)

Great Location”
First time visitors to Tokyo. Location was near transportation, restaurants and beautiful sites. Our room was very clean, well maintained and comfortable. The staff made us feel very welcome and went out of their way to help us with all our questions. They were so polite and always had a smile to share. We only ate one breakfast in the hotel. While the food was good, the cost of the offered meals were a little pricey. We will definitely return to the Hyatt Regency Tokyo on our next visit!

2 complaints”
It is rather uncommon that a hotel charges guests to use the Gym and swimming pool. Hyatt Regency Tokyo charges 2000yen/person/entry. I think Gym and swimming pool should be part of an offered facility should not be run like a restaurant. The other complaint would be the safety box. Apparently , the box can be literally removed from the cabinet. Normally this is screwed on to the cupboard or cabinet. I am not sure if this is the same for every room.

Spacious and newly renovated”
This was my 3rd stay at Hyatt Regency Shinjuku. The Hotel was not new, but the room type I stayed this time was Deluxe City View, it was newly renovated and feeling very comfortable. I like the shuttle bus to Shinjuku station and the airport limousine services very much. They are just at the front door and made my trip very convenient. I will consider to stay at the same Hotel again in the near future.
