Busy Hotel ”
This is a very busy hotel and its location is superb. However, being so busy, they do lack a certain warmth and the staffing levels are clearly insufficient. You have to wait long for check in and check out. The Bell Captain told me to leave the hotel keys with the fast check out box and just write my email for the invoices to be sent to me. Of course that was a very nice and great move. However, its been one month after my stay at Hyatt. I have not received any invoice in my email. I guess their follow up is very poor. They couldn't possibly lose my email address because I am a Club At Hyatt member and all my details are in their system. I am disappointed because of that.

Nice Downtown Hotel”
Don't know vancouver that well. But this hotel seems convenient to go to major downtown attractions. All was nearby. I walked to many of these areas. Check was smooth and I got a room with a balcony. There many tall buildings nearby, so the view was slightly blocked. Breakfast was good, but the variety was not great.

Excellent hotel”
Location comfort and food
Nice location and hop on hop off bus is just on the side of the hotel including train station. Breakfast lots of selection. Room is big and got a balcony fronting the main street. Nice view in our room. Free starbucks coffee in your room. Everything was excellent.

A modern twist”
Views, location and elevators
We had a quick stay at the Hyatt, and were quite impressed. We did arrive in a hire car on a Friday night, and were told by the bell hop it was only going to cost $12 to self park, but cost us $30 when we paid, so check. The hotel was in a good spot and easy to find, and had a very cool elevator management system that stopped that little dance you do downstairs when trying to work out which one will make it to your floor to grab you. The rooms were comfortable, and being an Aussie abroad my only complaints (which are the same in most US hotels) is that you dont get pasteurised long life milk in the rooms for coffee (just the powdered rubbish). We were also a little disappointed by a lack of decent maps by the tourist board that tell you were to go. We did the convention centre and harbour front areas, plus Gastown then walked towards Chinatown which didnt feel as safe. Later we found out that there are good shopping areas closer to the hotel.
