Very nice”
Our stay was great only thing I didn't know when booking was about the Valet parking. Its $62/night and you pretty much have to get it unless you wanna drag your luggage half a mile across the street. Wish I would've known before booking. Long walk to the Lincoln memorial but it was well worth it. Keep in mind the long walk if you have small children

Very nice clean hotel, most staff was nice and friendly except for some of the people at the bar.”
The lady that takes food orders over the phone was rude with a bad attitude. Besides that’s all the gentleman were very nice and polite. The hotel is nice and clean, I felt safe with my child staying in that hotel.

Exceptional”
Excellent hotel in excellent location. Staff friendly and helpful. Our stay was not under "normal" circumstances due to Covid guidelines...no sit down dining, no housekeeping during stay, etc. Definitely recommend and would love to return under "normal" circumstances.

This hotel is excellent starting point to tour D.C. The city tour line stops in front of the hotel. Also this hotel is close to Union Station and the Reagan Airport.

Everything is great except...”
They told us the pool is warm but it was cold. 2 of us got sick after the trip. Maybe not from the pool but we definitely won't book this hotel if we know the pool was going to be cold.

Nice”
We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Washington DC and it was very nice. The staff were very friendly and the room was a little bit on the small scale but again it is DC. The location was close to everything and within walking distance to restaurants. The breakfast was the best breakfast we had every tasted! Overall, it was a good stay for DC.

close to train station, capitol building and many other sights”
Needed a hotel that was close to the train station and also close to the sights, and Hyatt Regency fit it very well. Room was big and comfortable. Bead and pillows gave me a good night's rest

Hotel was Nice ”
The hotel is near to some monuments in washington DC. however the buffet is too small to accomodate all the hotel guests. And it lacks variety.

Honeymoon”
The hotel has a welcoming entrance, helpful staff, good facilities and a awesome location (well, we got into DC from NY via the train. Minutes from the train station). Breakfast variety was a little too small and the air con in the hotel room's old. If I can ask for a change, it will be the aircon as the rest of the room's great. Spacious, clean and well maintained (a point I am extremely particular about when I travel). In summary, I would recommend the place and return again if I ever return to D.C.

Kind of Dated but Clean”
Decor is quite dated but the whole place was spotless. Location was barely a 5 min walk from the train station. There IS a homeless shelter in the back, but you have no real reason to be walking back there as there are a lot of other streets to pass through. The restaurant/bar is really depressing in the lobby, but across of the street is a restaurant called Art & Soul with similar prices, large servings, lots of selection, and nice decor indoors and with a nice outdoor terrace; we ate breakfast there everyday. Besides that, a ~8 min walk away there are two British styled pubs/bars and a Japanese place run by Koreas with Asian food and beer.
