The hotel boasts a great location opposite Hyde Park and Museum Station which has been mentioned in many reviews. We had a wonderful vacation at Hyde Park Inn Hotel in Sydney. The front desk staff truly made our stay memorable—they were very accommodating, warm, and understanding. We greatly appreciated their thoughtfulness in storing our luggage before check-in and for arranging an early check-in, which made things so much easier for our family. The rooms were comfortable and the location was excellent, making it easy to explore the city. If there’s one thing we wished for, it would be the addition of a laundry area to make the stay even more complete. We loved our stay here. Wonderful view of the park with a balcony, excellent kitchenette, even enough room to do some yoga, comfortable beds and friendly staff. Even came with free parking included! Although it was very squishy and we actually had to park a block away in a public carpark as the hotel carpark was full…we were given a voucher so was still free - and we were able to charge our EV at the public carpark! so was ok in the end. Apart from the argy-bargy with the parking we loved our stay at the Hyde park Inn! Would come here again if visiting Sydney. Was pretty well priced for the quality & amazing location.
The hotel was well located and had a good bathroom and comfortable bed. The front desk staff were very helpful, and having car parking included made our visit to Sydney a lot easier.
This hotel is in the best location for walking or traming it around Sydney. Minutes walk from Oxford Street, Kings Cross, Surry Hills and all of Sydney CBD. Minutes from tram stops and train station and right opposite Hyde Park. Plenty of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops to choose from. Rooms are large and clean with kitchenettes and ensuites and staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Plus you get free breakfast supplies. Good value for money all round. Will stay again.

“Sydney Stay”
This was my second stay here. The first time I stayed with my sister in a larger room on a higher floor with a lovely view of Hyde park. Free parking is a great bonus. I was so excited when I was able to book a room again last minute at a good price. When I saw the room I was very disappointed and it had a terrible smell. When I realised that it was at the back of the property and no view i was really disappointed, it did state this when I looked into it further before arriving, however the smell in the room was unacceptable for me so I asked if there was another room. The only other room was about $100 more. It was much bigger and had a window to look out on Hyde Park. That room had a very strong chemical smell which stayed in all my clothes and sleep apnoea mask even when I arrived home. I had to wash everything. I decided to take that room despite the strong chemical smell in preference to the small back room with no outlook which smelt like sewerage. I hope the chemical whatever it was won’t have any long term effects on my lungs etc. The staff were very helpful I might add. I still enjoyed my stay there. It was a very nice room apart from the strong chemical smell with a large bed, a single bed and lounge chairs. The previous time I stayed there wasn’t any smell and the room was very clean as was this one. It was just the chemical smell. The staff didn’t know what it was. I would still stay here again and have booked again for my next medical appointment as it’s great having the free parking, breakfast items included, free wifi and proximity to Hyde park, Museum station and not far to walk to Myers, David Jones and Capitol Theatre. I slept soundly both times I stayed. I found the bed very comfortable.
