"The location was great and staff were great too. The rooms are small and basic which is to be expected in London but great location for the concert we were attending in Hyde Park. There is no air-conditioning which would be desirable in the hot summer evenings but we were provided with a fan. Not fantastic value for money as prices were raised due to the events on in Hyde Park but having said that it was clean and location was good so I would stay here again and would recommend it on that basis "

"I purchased booked two room for my daughter and family to attend the Taylor Swift concert in Hyde Park. The hotel was located less than 3mins from the car park, also near tube stations too. The receptionist very kindly made sure that the rooms were opposite each other which was excellent. All in all an excellent location to make their day, evening and night as enjoyable as possible."

"This hotel is located 5 minutes walking distance to two subway (tube) stations; Queensway & Bayswater. Excellent location. Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park is only a block away. Many hotels, restaurants, grocery stores nearby. Our room was so small that we could not get to our bed without stepping over our suitcases. Upon our request, after 3 nights there, the management was kind enough to change our room (Superior Double Room) to a bit large room (at least we could walk to our bed easily). The linens are all worn out, rough and had the chemical smell from a dry cleaner?? The beddings and the down-comforters are fine. I strongly suggest the management replace all their linens. Furthermore, our carpet had mold patches on it and it smelled, we had to keep our window open at all times. The area near the subway stations have many pick-pocketers, so do not put any valuables in your backpack, they will open your backpack zippers and steal your valuables in a matter of flash. "

"Friendly welcome and very helpful. Ideal location for Hyde Park and Oxford St. Rooms are small but well furnished, classy materials and magazines left. All mod cons, kettle, iron (that works), hair dryer etc. Nice touch of a few welcome chocolates too. Breakfast buffet has its to choose from and tastier than some hotels. Only minor criticism is that oddly the chairs and tables in the dining room/restaurant appear to be 'small scale' or a little short for some reason. I would recommend staying here."

"Stayed 2 nights on a room only basis. Lovely hotel, great location for the concert we attended in Hyde Park, pleasant staff. Little bemused as to why if you book breakfast in advance it is £4 cheaper than if you just turn up on the day.....whats different that warrants an extra £4 ?? Fire alarm went off on the 2nd morning, it was somewhat disorganised. We made our way through the nearest fire escape and sat outside with a few other guests, an employee appeared in a high vis vest some minutes later, shut the fire door we had come out of then asked if we were residents, we replied yes and she walked off !! We weren't asked our names, room numbers or anything !! After 10 minutes we walked back into the hotel to find everyone else had gone back in ( if they'd bothered leaving the hotel at all !! ) eating breakfast and going about their business whilst we'd been left outside and told nothing. Being in the hotel industry for over 30 years I found this to be unprofessional and disorganised. I would suggest management review their fire safety procedure and maybe more staff training would be an advantage. Other than that an enjoyable stay."

"I've been visiting London for the past 12 years and this my first stay in The Westbourne Hyde Park Hotel. We arrived very early in the morning and there were no rooms yet. But around 11 o'clock they arranged an early check-in for me and my colleague for two rooms. That was so helpful as we were tired from flying for 8 hours. The amenities and gadgets in the room were really good. The internet was very fast and stable. The location is very convenient. Very close to Lancaster Gate Station and Paddington Station. Hyde Park is just one minute away from the hotel. Restaurants and shops are all in a walking distance from you. My only complaint is that they don't offer a complimentary bottle of water every day. They just give you one bottle when you arrive and that's it. Al in all, I totally enjoyed my stay and definitely will stay here again. "

"It was mentioned as 4-star hotel and we did expected it, but for me the hotel appears to be a three star or lesser than that. I feel no comfortable in sleeping always in mind whether the bedsheets are clean or not. I must say the staff are really friendly and 6 star services but facilities are very poor standards. Great location."

The position is great near to underground and bus stops, at walking distance to Hyde Park and Kensington Park, nice pubs and restaurants. We will come back here next time we are in London. Thanks!"

"The hostel is located right behind Great Albert Hall and near the strip of museums, however the only thing is that it is a slight but further from a tube station that other places I have stayed before. It is around a 10 minute walk to South Kensington/Gloucestor Road station. The staff are friendly and the rooms are spacious. The room I stayed in had an ensuite as well which was convenient and cleaned every day. The hostel offers a 1-pound donation simple breakfast with toast, cereal, cookies and milk - and coffee and tea. They also offer a free dinner most nights cooked by the staff. The living area was also spacious and well-decorated. Overall, this was a social hostel with many activities hosted and roommates were quite social too. Large amount of Australian staff and Australian guests staying here too, good and safe feeling neighbourhood, the only thing that lacks at this hostel is that there is no reading light or charging point at the bed. Also there is no lift."
