The hotel is a 30 minutes drive away from the Taichung HSR station but you can call them in advance to arrange for transport. Breakfast is buffet-style, with a pretty healthy variety. The room we had was for 4 persons, so it was really big and spacious, and very, very clean. The staff are also quite helpful when you enquire about the area. there are 2 main areas to shop and eat in taichung, the first being Yi Zhong Jie and the second, Feng Jia Nightmarket. En vogue hotel is a mere 5 minutes walk from the former, and a 180NT cab ride away from the latter. however there's only wifi available in the lobby, which wasn't very convenient for us since we were relying on tapping on their wireless for our iphones and blackberries. but they provide cables for those who brought their laptops!

On our remaining 3 days in taiwan we stayed at I-deal hotel which the name is already changed to En Vogue Hotel so if you are looking for the hotel don't say i-deal hotel because local doesn't know that. The staff mostly don't know how to speak or little they know how to speakin english good thing we have google translate on our phone which help to communicate with them. Though there is 1 staff there usually doing morning shift can understand ans speak english so she help us alot during our stay. Regarding the rooms it was spacious specially the toilet and also was clean so thumbs up to that. Breakfast they serve as buffet and we love the food mixed with western and Chinese food so another thumbs up to that. The placed itself its to far from the tourist spots of taichung.

Easy to find food. Room very clean. Staff friendly and helpful. However, please take note on Taxi No. 818-3F that i have requested to Taichung HSR station. Taxi driver has purposely used a long way and end up i have to paid double fees.

Renovated Hotel with Comfort and Practicality.”
stayed for about 6 nights at this hotel with my wife and in-laws in two double deluxe rooms. the rooms were generally well kept and although there were no complimentary bottled waters, there was a standard office dispenser water in the two rooms that we stayed in with hot/cold/normal water temperature for us to choose from. the beds were comfortable and size of the room and bath room was spacious. food in the hotel was mediocre, we only took the breakfast provided nothing much to rave about. their cafe was empty most of the time as just a few minutes worth of walking there are lots of local cuisines to fill the hungry stomachs. there is no laundry service provided but they provide one washing machine and dryer for the guest to use for free. laundry powder can be obtained from the front desk.

It is a standard Taiwanese place to stay. Room was ok overall, clean but looks old. Beds were a bit too soft and I woke up with a little bit of sores. They had a bath tub as well. Breakfast was the standard Taiwanese vegetarian breakfast eg. Salad, pea sprouts, vegetarian pork floss, porridge and bread to name a few. Cleanliness was ok and location was walking distance to yizhong night market which we went everyday. I like it that they had free umbrellas for us to use at the hotel. For the price point, I had nothing to complain about, I will certainly go back there to stay again.

en vogue hotel is a motel in taichung which is very nearly one of the night market. we booked the 3 persons room. compare the price,en vogue hotel is very cheap and clean, it is very good. the staff were nice and pretty. i will stay this motel again.

Public transport are able to reach this hotel. The hotel breakfast is good, buffet style. The room is satisfactory with own bathroom and good facilities provided. Multiple charging station in the room. Water dispenser is provided in the room too. Staff good service. Luggage storage provided, this help to ease our trip as check-in time is not so early.

Great room for the price I paid!”
hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. booked a room for 3 adults and got a big room with 3 individual beds. the bathroom was also very big although old and sparse but i am not complaining. my only complain are the towels, newly laundered but still have lingering smell of oil. maybe the weather was not good for drying laundry. would definitely recommend you this hotel if you are not the fussy traveller type.

A bit pricy”
To be honest, this kind of price there are other better ones. We chose this simply because it allows dogs and not much restriction for it, just 300 TWD. The room is clean, the toilet was big and nice. Went down for breakfast at about 7.30, full of Chinese mainlander, noisy and rude. Breakfast was a buffet, food is not good, yet satisfying enough for the guys to get full. Gotta say, pricy.

Nice hotel but location not convenient”
Quite a distance to Taichung attractions. Journey to Feng Jia night market is about 25min drive by taxi and cost around per trip. Location very far off from city area. Be prepared to spend on transportation unless you take bus. Bus stop is just outside hotel. Nevertheless, the hotel is newly refurbished and rooms are nice & clean with good facilities.Staff is also very friendly and will help you call for cab.

Clean and spacious hotel”
booked 2 rooms for the 5 of us. location is not an issue as we booked car. hotel is clean and spacious although it looks abit old. the room for 3 pax is really big and we loved it a lot. hotel is walking distance to one of the night market which is near the university. breakfast is okay. i will recommend to my friends.

It's a nice hotel with comfy bed and a big bathroom. it's also a bonus of the hotel to have VOD movie selection. I am a little disapponted with the breakfast, as some food are served cold while they should served hot. ie French Fries. You can hear people talking and noise from the corridor while you are in the room.

booked 2 rooms, 1 triple room and the other twin room. triple room is very huge and I'm really surprised when i first enter the room. location may not be near fengjia market, but its near another night market at the university area. hotel staffs are very friendly.
