The out of this world view, the friendly owners, and peaceful ambience adjacent to a world heritage park.
Although we had some difficulty finding our accommodations I attribute it now to inexperience driving along the magnificent Amalfi coast road. It is breathtaking but is challenging to stop at times to investigate whether indeed this is the destination. However a call to Roberto assured us that we were on the money and that he would greet us roadside to help us unload. After a good walk up the stairs we were greeted with as good a view of Positano as I can imagine having the privellege to experience. Roberto and his wife welcomed us warmly and made us feel entirely at home. They made excellent suggestions for dinner and lunch - in fact I dare to say that the suggestion for lunch resulted in one of the best meals we had in all of Italy. Forgive me I cannot remember the name but Roberto will know!
Breakfast was wonderful overlooking Positano from our own patio just outside our room. I notice in our review that the owners rate their place as a zero star hotel. That is because it is nothing like a hotel - it's a magnificent home!
If travelling is all about who you meet on the road and how you are welcomed you cannot miss this place!
