3rd hostel in KL and I decided to extend here”
I've had my eye on I heritage before coming to KL but its my third hostel here and I liked it most. the staff are nice (although maybe not at the first look) the location is somewhat close to bukit bintang (yet far enough if you would like to avoid the crowds) and public transport is just short walk away it is right behind a shopping mall with entrances close by (on upside you can get access to pharmacies, grocery store, food, etc. but on the down side the ventilation/AC system of the mall can be heard in the room and can be bit annoying sometimes) there are several restaurants on the same street (halal food included) the place overall is clean but the bathrooms could be bit cleaner (that might be fault of guests rather than hostel staff, but still would like to see it cleaner) while its bit confusing on agoda, but from what I understand they have male, female and mixed rooms pros: ironing board with iron in the room free washing machine (you need to get your own detergent) breakfast view from roof is nice cons: the power plugs in my room are at the foot of the bed not the head the steps are bit uncomfortable (I got to admit I am not the healthiest guy though) in heavy rain you can get drenched getting out or into your room (i have room on the roof) no lockers like I said I extended here and I would come back again

Good Hostel”
I stayed at I - Heritage for one night and I didn’t expect that I would be given a 2 bed room. I was fortunate to own the room as I didn’t have any roommate at all. It’s in Bukit Bintang area. Easy to find as it’s located right beside Berjaya Times Square. Lots of restaurants in the area. Free breakfast is a plus! You’ll get coffee and bread which what you need to start the day. The stairs are quite stiff and no lifts. But over-all, my stay was good.

Beyond Expectations”
I booked this place as i saw a lot of good review for this property. I would said I- Heritage is a good choice for backpacker or solo traveler.( There are also private room available). Frankly, this property worth more than what i have paid for. The location is strategic as is just located behind Times Square and near to imbi monorail station ( 600 m walking distance). Hence , it is convenient for you to travel around. The room is comfy and equipped with aircond and safety box. The shared bathroom is very clean and ready with shampoo and bath gel. There are washing machine available at every floor. (Free to use). For the breakfast, it is self service type. There are eggs, toast bread , biscuit and coffee. You can eat up as much as you want but ensure no wastage of food. The only slight , minimal disadvantage is that there is no proper place / string for drying clothes. Anyhow, this property is wonderful and it is really beyond expectation! Keep up the great work !

Great staff, but Avoid room G1 if you are asthmatic”
+ great location next to Imbi MRT and food places/mall etc + great staff + big bed and private bathroom (very wetroom) and seating area outside this room G1. +new chairs inside room ( but now no closet) + safe for wallet etc - but damp room, next to noisy water pump - cigarette smoke leaking from somewhere and filling the small room ( clothes smell now) - no where to put things/clothes except on new chairs due to no floor space....so the chairs are pointless - no hooks for towels I mentioned the smoke and reception did say we could move rooms but it was 9pm and we were leaving in morning so couldnt be bothered...but in hindsight i wish we had...my asthma was bad after and all my clothes now stink of damp cellar and ash trays.....will have to pay to launder ( they'd just been washed too) G2 looked like a larger room with a chest of drawers and hanger for clothes. + breakfast is included :) If you like toast and cereal Or you can get roti at Safreens down the street. This review is for G1 I wish we had changed rooms...

Comfort stay but the staf is slow to respond”
Nice place to stay if you are planing to visit bukit bintang area, my only problem is with hotel staf that are very slow to respon to any request. 1st i ask for the wifi pasword it took them forever for them to get back to me, the i have to walk down the stair again to ask, the guy said the pasword was writen on card near the tv but after went up it was not there so i has to went down again.. very frustrating.. 2nd time i ask for floor mat in front of the shower (other hotel already put it, u dont have to ask) same issues here after ask the reseption on the way up the room the guy said ok but i waited forever.. should improve on that..

Affordable Hostel in KL for backpackers”
The hostel location easy to find, i took grabcar from NU sentral to I-heritage it just cost RM8, and there is 24 hrs convenience store, across the hostel, there is a mall so you can walk to the mall in case you want to buy some stuff or grocery. so many chinese food restaurants surrounded this place and some indian food as well, so its easy to find a food , just couple minutes walk,I like the breakfast , for hostel standard it offered various thing, they have toaster and free eggs too! there is washing machine and iron table, so you can use it, bed sheet very clean, i like the airco..its cold,and free water refil !!!

one of the best hostel ever”
The receptionist that work the day shift, Pete (i think that was his name), is really nice and helpful plus he speaks good english. Should give him a raise! The hostel is right at the back of berjaya time square mall and the breakfast is a whole other level! They provide eggs, toast and also cereals for breakfast- all for FREE! Plus, there's a water dispenser. The toilet is clean, toiletries are provided and there's hot water. Can't say too much about the room, as it is really small, there were ants on one of the bed too. The experience was a bit crazy during my stay as one guy randomly open the door into my room at 1 am. It really gave me a shock. Overall still a pretty chic hostel.

Great place close to City !”
I highly recommend this place. It's just the opposite to Berjaya Times Square and greatly accessible to the city. The staff is friendly, the place is clean and comfy. This was our first visit to this place, so we had doubts on the place, but as soon as we entered, we realized that this is well maintained. Room service is available daily. We got breakfast from the hotel. But the options were less, so having the same breakfast for so many days at a stretch was bit of a problem. Apart from that, the overall experience was superb and can be rated Excellent.

Exceptional”
the location is very good , 5 minutes walk far from train station , some Indian and Arabic food restaurant nearby , good price . hostel provides free laundry machine . it has a very good roof for relaxing . the best i want to mention is friendly staff, they try to help whatever you need . if you need to check out one or two hours later , it is also acceptable. A very good living experience.

If I travel to KL again, I'd love to stay at this hostel again. It has every thing good that we expect from a budget hostel. Overall comment: Satisfying. Pros: - clean & room service (bedroom, toilet, lobby. They even clean out our room, change towel, and give 1 bottle of mineral water every single day) - self- laundry (guests may use washing machine at 2nd floor, we only need to buy detergent ourselves) - nice staffs (hostel staffs are from chinese-malay to bangladesh. They are all polite. Even if we have many luggages, we may ask for help. They're happy to serve) - rooftop (it has nice rooftop which provides TV, table and chair, and pretty good view for guests to hang out with friends or just enjoy the view or TV show) - convenience store (right at the lobby, it opens 24 hours) - free wifi & breakfast - nice interior for a budget hostel Cons: - 3 floors hostel without lift (only stairs) - all rooms are in dorm-type - sometimes poor connection of wifi

I've been stay in the hotel for second time, this time i am going to complain the front liner. The bangladeshi front liner allow me to check in eventhough it is overbooked. then he let me stay in the hostel unit where the customer already got the whole unit and made the customer feel curious that how am i've been in the room out of sudden.

the price is on the upper side, the room is clean and kinda big too, but there's tough competition from boutique hotels and it is kinda expensive all things considered. but the staff is always polite and always friendly- keep it up!!

New, clean, and modern”
The wooden bunkbeds are elegant and though I stayed at a female dorm, I was surpised there was individual safety boxes available! The sheets are very clean and nice, I had a great sleep though toilets are a bit tight. They can improve their system though as checking-in is so manual the receptionist has to refer to printed documents. For those who have plans visiting the Berjaya times square or having easy access to a bus to SG, then this should be the best location otherwise the area could be uncomfy getting there by monorail which is always full-packed and hot.

so I have stayed here before for 13 days, I leave and I come back I have another detailed review, this one is just about the wifi they have 3 points of service, the one for the roof went down over two weeks ago and i complained a lot and they never fixed it, i left for 10 days and when i came back i found it still down. still mentioned it but they tell me ok we will fix it everytime. no wifi in the room and barely good coverage on the whole floor.

Pros : clean bed, clean and spacious toilet, they provide washing machine and hanging area at the roof top, with 24hours convenient shop at the reception of the hostel. 2-3 minutes walk to Berjaya Times Square mall and Imbi Monorail station. Cons : WiFi connection is too slow at the roof top, no TV channel on the TV and there was no locker provided to keep important belongings.
