The room is stuffy, the air conditioner is not cold, no soap is asked to the receptionist from the beginning of entering the room until reminded 3 x still the bath soap is not given .. There are still many low price hotels that are more comfortable and nice to stay in pekanbaru city ..Bad conditions...Will no longer stay at this hotel.....

I have stayed at OYO hotels before and have enjoyed my stays, sadly this one did not live up to expectations. For example........ I did not get the type of room I booked. I did not complain at the time due to my tiredness and because the check-in person was aggressive and not helpful. The person behind the counter at check-in time demanded in an aggressive manner that I pay the bill which was already paid via Agoda. The room (317) was not as clean as it should have been. The air-con remote did not work. The in-room safety deposit box did not work. In the 5 days I was in the hotel NOT ONCE did I get a warm shower despite trying up to 4 different times each day. There were other minor irritations such as no toilet paper etc. which simply added to a very disappointing experience.

Smells. Dirty. Cockroach.”
Room constantly smells like cigeratte. Live and dead cockroaches everywhere (needed to buy a can of baygon to survive). Dirty toilet, smelly bed cover, and broken hot water. Bad experience: woken up by cockroaches crawling up to the bed 😣. Bad. Bad. I only stay for one night and move to another hotel even though i have booked for 3 nights.

aston pekanbaru is a new hotel. it is small and simple, but because it is an aston hotel, it has a good standard. it is located in front of a big mall, so you can shop or dine. it is also near the famous traditionalmarket 'pasar bawah'. it is, however, a little far from the airport if you compare to other big hotels. but because pekanbaru is not a big city, then it is still quite near from the airport (20 minutes by taxi). recomended for simple traveler.

I stay 1 night and it was ok. The location is close to Pekanbaru city mall, so it is easy to find some local food. Have a polite service. the room is small but i travell alone is ok. I consider its good enough compared with the price I have paid.

i like the hotel because the location is very good.the restaurant sell nasi padang was next to the aston hotel.the food is delicious and the price is ok.the mall is just opposite the hotel so you have many many choices in terms of food.since we travel with small kid, so we dont hv much activities to do..but for elder kids maybe the place is quite boring coz not much activities to do. the shopping mall is great n cheap n many choices overall we enjoy our stay at pekanbaru aston hotel
