A great hotel”
MBK is my favourite shopping mall in bangkok, so i was excited to find out that IBIS was build directly next to it. I have no hesistation in booking this hotel as the price is very reasonable. The room size is not big but i feel it is acceptable for two people to stay. Everything look clean and neat to me. As for the noise, my room was facing the BTS railway directly but i didnt hear any noise from the outside. However, the sound proof between rooms are not that good as i occasionally hear TV sound from next door. TV channels are also limited but this doesnt affect me as i seldom stay in the room. Food wise i cant comment as i didnt eat in the hotel but i would like to try it next time when i visit them. The staff are friendly and will greet and smile at me if i make eye contact with them while i walk pass the counter. What i really appreciate is i did sign up 2 one day tour online (i sign up on my own and didnt book through ibis), the tour agency did call up the hotel to inform us the pick up timing and the hotel staff type out the message nicely in a letter and place at our door which i think is a very sweet move. The hotel location is so centralize that i almost didnt take any transport during my stay. To conclude, my mum and i enjoy our stay in ibis bangkok siam very much. This is a great hotel, anyone who complain about this hotel feel free to spend double or triple of the price to get the hotel which they think is good.
Everything I wished for”
Was here with my girlfriend from 14 Feb 2013 to 18 Feb 2013. The reason that made me book this hotel was its very competitive price on Agoda.com. Don't think there are much hotels as cheap and as strategically located as Ibis Siam. We reached the hotel earlier than the stipulated check in time and immediately after a few admin procedures, we were given our room keys. Ace. We were given a room on the top floor of the hotel and the rooms were nice and cosy. Just nice for two people. The room looked new and smelled fresh. Toilets were just nice as well (mainly because both of us aren't big-sized. Bigger sized individuals might find manoevuering in the toilet a little tricky and squeezy. Our only complaint was that there was constant drilling and knocking on the 17th floor due to construction and tooth brush and tooth paste were not provided. Having a hotel literally next to the BTS was a total charm. After a long day out in the city, the last thing you want to do is carry your luggage a few hundred metres or more to your hotel. We just had to come down a flight of stairs from the bts station and voila... there our hotel was. The deal we booked did not include breakfast (was expecting the staff to be kind enough to offer it complimentary but alas, they did not - not a big issue to me though). We had our breakfast every day at a thai local eatery just next to the hotel at pranee building. They are open every day except sundays. The staff was helpful and command of english was adequate. Concierge was particularly helpful in recommending places to visit (Even though we had places we wanted to go in mind), as well as efficient in hailing taxis for us. All in all, a very comfortable and happy stay... would tip everyone if i had more baht remaining. Haha. Would definitely come back to Ibis Siam the next time i'm in Bangkok.
Location and cleanliness. Perfect 3 stars hotel!”
This is the second time I stayed here after 1 year. Can see the hotel staff improved a lot. There is a new 7-11 just next to the hotel lobby which is superb convenient. And another one a min walk from the hotel. Room is a bit small but enough for 2 person. There is a luggage compartment under the bed. Bed is superb cozy (same like 4star hotel bed) which you'll never complain. Hotel provide wifi with okay speed. Sometimes it will got disconnect and you need to reconnect again. This hotel do not provide toothbrush so bring your own or buy it from the 7-11. Hotel staff is friendly. One thing not good is the sound proof is abit poor. I heard a loud door bang and people noise every morning from 7am. My room is just next to the lift. Maybe you can request for corner room. BTS National Stadium is just a min walk from the hotel. Your hotel should be exit 1 from this bts. A lot of taxi not sure about Ibis Siam Bangkok. But for option you can tell the taxi to go to Mercure Bangkok Hotel. It's just side by side with Ibis. Location is perfect. You can walk to Siam Discovery, MBK, Siam Square night market is just across the road. And Bangkok Art and cultural is just few mins walk left from this hotel. Nothing to complain. I will come back again for sure! :)
EXCELLENT!”
I have been to Bangkok a couple of time and this is my first time stayed at Ibis Bangkok Siam Hotel. I loved everything about the hotel. The room was just perfect, and the staff was super friendly and very helpful. There are Seven Eleven inside the hotel building and you can find a taxi counter at Mercure Hotel Lobby (same building with Ibis Bangkok Siam Hotel). The hotel is very near with the BTS Sky Train (National Stadium) and just a walking distance to MBK Shopping Malls, Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery and Siam Centre. Very recommended and will definitely stay here again If i am in Bangkok.
Great location & price! ”
I just flew back home yesterday. We really liked staying there! The room was clean and simple. Transport was easy because the BTS national stadium stop is just on the doorstep and only 1 stop away from Siam bts. i could see the people on the platform from our hotel window. Price didn't include breakfast though and we didn't pay extra to get it. Instead, we went out and had Thai breakfasts for 40bht each, right next to the 7/11 around the left corner (when coming out of hotel). On the opposite side (right turn out of hotel) you can take the escalator up to the station or walk further ahead where there is a McDonald's and 2 massage parlours. (We weren't impressed by the hygiene of the first one that we passed on the right hand in the side street.) I would definitely stay at Ibis Bangkok Siam again!
A pleasant surprise”
I were staying at Ibis Bangkok Siam hotel as part of my birthday celebration. On my birthday, I had a pleasant surprise that the hotel was so thoughtful to place a slice of cake and a birthday card signed off by Duty Manager in y room. I felt so warm and happy for this good gesture from the hotel. They were attentive to such little details of hotel guests and make their stay much pleasant and warm. We would surely stay at Ibis Bangkok Siam hotel again for my next trip to Bangkok. Thank you.
A very convenient hotel located right at the heart of Bangkok Shopping Malls”
Me and my friend stayed here for 2 nights before flying to Singapore. It is conveniently located at the heart of Singapore shopping malls near MBK, Siam Paragon and Central World. Just outside is the National Stadium MRT. There is a 7 eleven at the lobby which offers a wide variety of products. If your purpose to visit Bangkok is for shopping, quick stopover or easy access to MRT this is the place to be. Please note there is another Ibis Siam Hotel located in Bangkok which has pool and gym this is not the one. Breakfast is abundant and unique combination of Asian and Western food. The bed is comfy and the TV channels are plentiful. Our view of Bangkok skyline is amazing especially at night. The staff are very friendly they even printed my plane ticket. Overall I love my stay at Ibis Siam and will definitely be back.
A true sample of excellent hospitality”
This was my 3rd times stayed in Ibis Bangkok Siam Hotel. Excellent hotel with excellent location, located at the city center, extremely clean & comfortable . Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the friendly reception staff although it was 4:30 am. We enjoyed our New Year 2018 celebration with you as host. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody! It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. I'll be back to this place for sure again. Thank you Ibis Bangkok Siam Hotel, you guys awesome.
Thanks for staying with us. We work hard to make our guests happy and appreciate your feedback!
Looking forward to stay again in ibis Bangkok siam”
This is my second time staying with ibis Bangkok siam and I am very satisfied with the hotel. The hotel is very well connected by BTS and is near to major tourist spots such as MBK mall, Siam Discovery centre, Siam Paragon (outdoor activities for Festival of light was held there), Siam Square area etc. The hotel staff is polite and helpful. The buffet breakfast is equally good. House keeping has improved and worked hard to up-keep the room for residents. Overall, The hotel is good for Average traveller who is looking for a very decent stay with a very good meal.
Delightful Experience”
ibis Bangkok Siam Hotel has always been able to deliver great value for money with excellent service and convenience. This is my second stay at ibis Bangkok Siam and the experience was as delightful as the first. Location has always been huge selling point for the hotel and not to mention the extremely reasonable room rate. Cleanliness and good condition of the room amenities is also consistently a plus point too. Highly recommended!
Thanks for staying with us. We work hard to make our guests happy and appreciate your feedback!
Location=Super Best, hotel=Simple & Great yo stay, Staff=Great”
This is my 2nd time. 1st time at Mercure and 2nd time at IBIS, both located at same building. Stayed from 9-12 Aug 2017, for short trip. Hotel location really just the best, stone throw to Siam BTS, opposite MBK mall, near Siam Paragon, etc. location just super bes IBIS hotel is the simple, nice and clean hotel, room a bit small and bathroom also small but its functional as it is, but importantly room very clean. on my room 1124, aircond not cold enough (for me) room housekeeping time need to improve, in my case, the house keeping only came at 4pm. Staff at reservation, restaurant, bell boy all very polite, helpfull, friendliest. Keep it up WiFi available at any area at hotel permisses and very good, strong and fast I will definitely stay on this hotel for next trip to bangkok. IBIS and Mercure... Good Job. Thanks for your hospitality and Thanks for your staffs from reservation, restaurant, bell boy etc... all very good. Thumbs up.

We will review with our team and discuss further to make our future improvement. We thank you for your time and sharing your concern with us and hope to welcome you back with better service in near future. Sincerely Yours, Sebastien Salmon General Manager
A very good budget hotel in a very good location”
The Ibis Hotel, Bangkok Siam, is a very modern hotel that is in a very good location right next to the National Stadium and MBK shopping centre. It is directly below the Skytrain National Station so it is very convenient to travel to and from. From Suvarnabhumi Airport you can take the Express Train at a cost of 90 Baht (2 GBP) for a 20 minute ride into town to the terminal at Phaya Thai and then walk about 50 yards to the Skytrain and purchase a 20 Baht (50 Pence GBP) ticket to the National Stadium. From Phaya Thai station go 2 stops to Siam where you get off and then walk up one level to get the train to National Stadium which is only one stop away. The Ibis hotel has been designed to provide a good standard of comfort in an economical way with the rooms being quite small but well designed. There is a fridge, safety box, free tea and coffee making, free WIFI and a very comfortable double bed in the room. There is a work bench with power sockets and a chair as well as a small sofa seat. The flat screen TV is attached to the wall at the bottom of the bed and has a good selection of English news and sports programs. The bathroom is well designed although small and the walk in shower is good. There is a snack shop at reception which provides a good basic breakfast for 214 Baht (4.50 GBP). There is no same day laundry service so any laundry is returned the next day. Ibis Hotel shares the same building with Mercure Hotel Siam which has bigger and better rooms at about double the Ibis price. So if you want a bit more comfort the Mercure Hotel with its larger rooms, swimming pool and nicer restaurant is a very good alternative. If travelling alone I will certainly stay at the Ibis again and will book the Mercure if not alone
Great hotel, superb location”
Ibis Bangkok Siam is located right next to National Stadium BTS, and directly opposite MBK. Location was superb and easy access to popular shopping areas like MBK, Siam Square and surrounding areas. Rooms were very new and clean. It's pretty small but manageable for 2 people. The bathroom however, was really tiny, albeit new. The only downside is that since this hotel is relatively new, most taxi drivers do not recognise the hotel name. However, just tell them it's opp MBK and they would roughly know where it is!
Great hotel with excellent service”
We were greeted by very friendly staff during check in. I have booked 14 rooms altogether with different configurations, yet they were able to provide all the rooms in less than 30minutes! As the hotel has just opened, the name cards were not ready, & the staff voluntarily printed 28 copies of the hotel address in both English & Thai for my group of travelers! This is service beyond expectation:) Concierge staff were very helpful & smiley too. Booking transport through them was a breeze. Hotel's location was fantastic, within 3 minutes' walk to National Stadium BTS, within a stone's throw to the Siam shopping belt. Superbly convenient! Affordable laundry service & delicious food were nearby. Except for the small-sized room, Ibis Siam Bangkok is ideal for any traveler, solo, couple, family or group. I'll not hesitate to recommend it to my friends.
Unbeatable Location”
You read it from reviews but seriously, Ibis Siam's location is truly unbeatable - this is especially for the price you pay for the standard room. The hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from MBK, and approx 10 minutes walk from Siam Discovery, Siam Centre, Siam Paragon the works. It's located right in front of the National Stadium BTS which takes you to Siam in one stop and thereafter you can take the BTS to Mo Chit for Chatuchak Market for shopping on the weekends. When we're in Bangkok, we'll hardly be in the room, so what Ibis offers is ideal for us - essentially a very comfortable room to stay in, reasonably priced and located in an awesome and accessible location. Note that if what you want to do is chillaxing in the hotel... don't bother with Ibis, the TV is horrible with hardly any Eng cable channels, the wifi is non existent, and there's no pool or gym either. Try the slightly dearer boutique hotel down the alley (approx 300 m) from Ibis Siam, the Lit Hotel - which is dearer by maybe US30++ for a basic room, but offers a lot more amenities. At night you'll find some street food vendors just outside the hotel - we strongly recommend the fried chicken stall and the mango glutinous rice stall! We were hooked on glutinous rice (2 mangos and 1 serving of glutinous rice for 100 Baht) and had it every night we were there. Strongly recommended to stay in Ibis Siam when you're on a budget (because who wants to waste money on the room when you can shop till you drop!!??), but won't settle on comfort and location.
Exceptional”
This is my 3rd stay in Ibis Siam Bangkok. The reason I choose this hotel is because of the location. BTS station is just right in front of the hotel. Some walkable attraction places like MBK, Siam Discovery, Jim Thompson and Tesco Lotus is very nearby. Hotel room is not too big but definitely clean and cosy. It’s perfect imfor solo and couple traveller but maybe not too convenient for family because the room is small. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included for my stay this round. Not too much of variety but the food is not bad. I definitely love the coffee machine and the fresh fruits! Taxi fare to Don Muaeng excluded toll is 300 baht (not from hotel). I will definitely stay here again next year. One thing not too good is the room sound proof. The housekeeping is too noisy. Should improve. Thank you :)
Thanks for staying with us. We appreciate your feedback!
Fantastic location. Comfortable guest room.”
This was my second time with ibis Bangkok Siam within 2 months. The location in the heart of business district and shopping paradise make this hotel a great place to stay. The room space is not big but is very compact I didn't feel it was smaller than my studio condo since it was wisely furnished. I like comfortable bed. I woke up each morning not feeling back pain. Don't feel tired after night sleep. Breakfast is 412 Baht with a variety of menus and they served quality and delicious meals. Value for money. Front desk staff perform excellently. Quick check in and my room is vacant at that checkin time.
clean room, convenient location”
Took a taxi from the airport to Ibis, and it took about an hour (with traffic). Check in was smooth - we requested for an early check in and were pleased that the room was ready when we arrived at 12.45pm. National Stadium BTS is literally in front of Ibis Siam, and there is a 7-eleven right next door! MBK mall is across the road as well and its food court is pretty decent. Ibis Hotel is linked to Mercure Hotel (they share the same building, except different floors I think?), and I happen to have been choosing between these two hotels. Ibis is a tad bit cheaper, but the room area was smaller in comparison. Upon staying at Ibis, I realised this was not an issue. The room was not tight or cramped - enough space for 2 people. If you are on a budget, this hotel is the perfect place to stay! The free wifi was a bit annoying as you have to keep logging in, but I guess most hotels have a similar system now-a-days, and the speed was fine. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who seeks convenience, and who is on a budget.
Fantastic no-frills hotel”
Booked this hotel for a short stay in Bangkok. Its location is excellent! You can't get any nearer to the train station. Surprisingly, it was a mere 10 minute walk to Siam and 5 minute walk to MBK. There is a 7-11 directly at the lobby area of the hotel. Super convenient if you forget anything or need something! We could easily get a Grab from the place as well because it's near the main road. Staff is able to speak English. Room is clean and great! Tv, safe, room service available. Bathroom a little small, but it's a standing shower so it was fine. Swimming facilities do incur extra charges. We didn't intend to swim though. Will definitely recommend Ibis and book this hotel for my future stays! Reasonable price, superb location, overall I'm happy!
Thanks for staying with us. We appreciate your feedback!
Ibis Siam is very centrally located near MBK”
Ibis Siam is very centrally located just opposite MBK and just below National Stadium BTS station. It is very easily accessible to Siam Paragon, Siam Discovery and walking distance to World Trade Center. We took the airport City Line and change at Phya Thai station to Siam and transfer to National Stadium BTS...IBIS Siam is just right there. The rooms are clean and very comfortable though the toilet is rather small but acceptable as the hotel is relatively new. The staff at the reception, conceirge and dining area are very friendly and helpful...we will definitely recommend this hotel to our family and friends
