Very convenient location, will go back again.”
Clean room with comfortable beds, lives up to the Ibis standard. There is a stretch of good restaurants, renowned bakery, convenient store and cafe right outside the hotel, so it is very convenient. The train station is just a 5 minutes walk away.
Central Location Easy Access to Line 1 Subway”
About 8 mins walk from Jianguomen subway station and 10 mins to Beijing WTC - luxury shopping. There's a 7 Eleven right next to the hotel with a lot of eateries nearby. Starbucks is right opposite the hotel, inside an office building. Also, there's newly opened McDonalds' along the main road. Suggest traveler to rent a Mobike or Ofo.
Great location and very friendly staff”
First of all you dont need any taxi because the subway line is very close to the hotel. It is a more quiet area which is very nice but at the same time only a few minutes from hotspots like Tiananmen square or the forbidden city away. Just cross the big street and take either the subway or the bus (1Yuan). In the same street with the hotel there is a pharmacy, many restaurants and even a 7/11 just 30 metres away. The hotelroom was clean and good, internet worked fine and the staff was very nice and friendly helped me with idea what to do or even where to go eat good chinese dumplings. Next to the yonganli subway station (that is the one) there is also a shopping mall - in other words you have everything within arms reach. The breakfast was alright, I tried it one time. You get enough for the money, hot as well as cold things, fruits, sweets, different drinks.
great location. close to shopping at silk street. next to good/inexpensive peking duck restaurant that opens until 10pm/11pm. near massage places if you enjoy massages (not with happy endings). wifi was surprisingly fast. only con: i went in late march which was still chilly. tried to set thermostat to 25deg c but only cold air come out from the central air conditioning. the room never got above 19 deg c. i had to wear a long-sleeve fleece to sleep as the blanks were not that thick.
Super new hotel”
i love looking for new hotels to stay at because the amenities are generally good. this hotel was so new that only 1 floor was opened and the rest of the other floors are still be renovated. you can see their progress every time you take the lift up. drawdowns was that the door card system was not working very well. the head of the hotel wasaware of the problem and i trust that he is doing something about it. overall good experience
Hotel Ibis Beijing Jianguomen”
Very good location for those who want to visit Forbidden City, Tian An Men, Summer Palace, can go to attraction places by subway. The soundproof of this hotel room is bad, I can hear next room people talking, hope they can improve it.
One of the best budget hotel in Beijing”
It was nice stay in this budget hotel in the best location where you can find all Chinese restaurant or local street foods. Especially, it is very close to Silk Market if you are looking for some souvenirs or clothes here. Highly recommended!
Excellent value for money”
We actually ended up staying a total of 2 weeks here as we were taking a Mandarin course within walking distance. The hotel itself is brand new and so the rooms are very clean and the cleaning staff are very nice. The girls at the front desk are nice, but only one knows how to speak English and the others just shy away or shake their heads if you ask for help. Internet (wifi and LAN) were excellent our first week and then ended up being a bit patchier the next week. Location is perfect as it's close to 2 subway lines, a bunch of excellent retaurants and is around the corner from a local neighborhood so you get so much variety in what you see. Grocery store, bakery, 7/11 all in the same building block. Couldn't have asked for a better stay.
Clean, Centrally Located Hotel”
As a Singaporean Chinese, there was no language barrier between me and the hotel staff, so cant comment much except they do basic English proficiency, being able to understand your basic needs. other than that, Its just like other Ibis, and being so new, the rooms are Clean but not what you would consider on the large side. but for the price. its well worth it. comfortable bed, However, I did find one single Tick in the basin upon check in. no idea how it got there, but after looking frantically around the room, i couldnt locate any more of them so would let it off as a one off incident. food wise the hotel offers full range of chinese food and a buffet breakfast, non inclusive ofcos, but it is surrounded by lots of local food stores being centrally located in town. just 2 stops away form the famous tian an men square and forbidden city. where you could take up a trip to the great wall from there or from the hotel reception. One thing to note thou. although it is just a 2 min walk to the subway station. trying to get a cab from this location is a nightmare..
the hotel was very nice and convenient for shoppers especially . there was easy access to subway and bus to get to the forbidden city and tinnamen square. the staff were pleasant and spoke english quite well. we would definitely stay again at the same location.
Strategic location with friendly staffs”
it was a enjoyable stay at ibis hotel beijing. the staffs were friendly and the location of the hotel was really strategic ( in the middle of the town). shopping complexes were nearby ( walking distance ) and so were the muslim restaurants. the best part was when we found out that the subway station was nearby....so it was very convenient to travel from town to town. only the trouble was on the last two days, the hotel had pipe system problem...we couldn't flush the toilet after using it. the rest were perfectly ok and the rate really statisfied our budget! one more thing...if only the hotel alert that there are muslims customers as well...maybe they could prepare food for the muslims.
We requested non-smoking rooms, but our son was first put into the room taht had strong smoke smell. Later we were able to change room for him. Stuff was friendly and helpful. Heaters were hard to figure out: sometimes they will stop heating after they reached the set temperature and sometimes just really made the room hot.
Great budget hotel”
probably the best budget hotel i have came across in the area. it's right in cbd, very easy to get to everywhere. good access to the massage place, convenient store next door. free wifi internet, clean bedsheets, hot water bath. rooms are small but good enough. i'd highly recommend this if all you need is just a clean bed and a good shower. it's comparable price to those chinese run budget hotel chain, so i'd much rather stay in this than to risk. it's actually better than many b&b in europe. safe choice. it's a few min walk from the closest metro station, very doable when the weather is fine, but feels very far during the winter under the snow.
Free wifi in rooms, clean and location”
I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, room was clean and excellent free wifi connection in hotel room. This hotel is good value for money - well located - only a short walk to the train station and there are many of restaurants and cafes close by. Very little english spoken by staff at reception, and was not happy with one as she let people she knew pushed in front of me when they should have lined up like other customers. Other than that, it was a good stay and I would stay there again upon my next trip to Beijing.
Was quite happy with my stay. The check in went smoothly, the room was clean and good size, and the location was perfect...it is quite difficult to find a hotel such as this in the cbd area. The only issues were I could not find the light switch to turn off the main lights...and it was a little difficult to get a taxi. I would stay there again upon my return to Beijing.
Great location and friendly staff”
The hotel is strategically located at the heart of the Beijing CBD. It's just walking distance to the embassy area. A few minutes walk to the Silk Market - great for shopping. The size of the room is just alright for me and what matters most is that it's clean. Nearby are restaurants and convenience stores like 7-11.
the hotel room is really clean, nice and comfortable, not too big though! i was very much enjoying the time with ibis. they didn't find my booking record but staff there were really nice! they let me check in first and sorted out my problem then without bothering me! many thanks!
Top-of-the-line budget hotel”
this hotel is ideal for the business or tourist traveller who is accustomed to the standards of budget "business" hotels in various european cities. at the moment, i would not recommend it for anyone who needs to spend time in the room during the daytime, because the building is undergoing extensive renovation, and there is incessant hammering and other noise. at night, though, it is perfectly quiet.
Great Location for Budget Traveller”
I like this hotel as it's very very new with only the 7th and 8th floor of the hotel building completed. Being almost brand new, it's rooms are very clean. Good sanitary and shower condition with good heating especially right now with the beginning of winter. It would be a great location for both budget business as well as family holiday travel. Located right in the heart of the city, It also has all the necessary ammendities like restuarants and supper markets just right at it's door steps. The only set back at this moment is that as the hotel building is still in the midst of final completion, only the last two floors (7 and 8 floor) is accessible whilst reno work is still being carried out on the rest and also right outside of the hotel lobby which is located right on the ground floor entrance. It's right within walking distance of the Beijing tube station and walking distance within the China World Trade Centre as well as the infamous Shiu Shui Jie (Copied Goods Centre), Banks and Restuarants (McDonalds, Kenny Rogers Chicken, Famous Beijing Roast Duck Restuarant). It's almost convienently located from the airport or train stations of Beijing.
