Covenient location, fairly good value”
I found this hotel to be in a central location (which is a good thing) yet in a quiet road. This is unusual for central Bristol. Check-in was straightforward and the room itself was clean, well thought out and quite comfortable. There is free WiFi by logging into the IBIS website. Breakfast cost an extra £7.95 per person, but as it is a buffet style, and good, tasty and solid, it actually is very good value for money (especially compared with what you would get in a café) - Sausage, Bacon, Eggs, mushrooms, toast, cereals, fruit, juice, tea coffee etc. If you are trying to get to this hotel by public transport, it is about 300m walking distance to the rear of Temple Meads train station (which has a regular bus service to Bristol Airport) - this might save you some time and money on taxis - I suggest you check it on the map first, but it really is a short walk.

Worthy of a 4 Star rating for food and room qualit”
Could not have stayed at a more friendly, comfortable and excellent facility. Its 2 star rating is way under the actual quality of this establishment. Its worth 4 stars for food and staff. I found the room very comfortable and modern. Location for me was important so the fact that its only 5-min walk from the Station at Bristol Temple with easy directions, was what at first made me choose this Hotel. I have absolutely no regrets and would stay there again when in that area.

Happy camper”
Hotel is modern, clean and generally a nice place to be. They have a restuarant and bar with personable staff, but if memory serves me, the prices were pretty steep! On the other hand, it's a good option to have though when the weather is too rotten to go out or you want to unwind at the end of the day. Close enough to the train station, but a bit of a walk into town. (I averaged 18km a day walking to, from and around Bristol while I was there according to my phone app'). Since I took day trips to Cardiff and Bath on the train for 2 of my four days, it was a very good choice of hotel for my needs. Europcar also have a car hire kiosk on the platform of the Bristol Temple Meads Train Station.

Clean, new, good value”
This is a good value budget hotel. It is clean and modern. The rooms have several clever design features such as the "open" wardrobe which is really convenient to use. The hotel's location is handy for the railway station and city centre. There's a new bridge over the canal/river that makes the walk to Temple Meads station very short.

Convenient and comfortable stay”
I was very glad to have found the Ibis hotel. It was ideally located and a nice, clean, simple and modern room with very comfortable beds. I stayed with a friend and we both found it a good place to stay.

Great shot break hotel”
Perfect for a few nights in Bristol. At first, looking at the map, I thought that it was a bit far out but it was a very short 10 min walk to the station and 20 mins to the Harbourside. Bed was surprisingly comfortable! No breakfast included - you could pay £7.95 for their buffet each morning but there is a Starbucks 5 mins away if you think that's too expensive for what you got.

Functional hotel ideal for short business stay”
Stayed 4 nights. Couldn't find fault. Clean hotel close to Temple Meads train station and business district

Near train station but expensive”
Expensive probably because it is extremely near to Temple Meads Railway Station. But thats the only positive thing about it. Staff were polite snd helpful. Room is neat but sheets were full of fabric remnants. Hair dryer was dusty as well.

Convenient comfortable accommodation at a fair price with staff that respect you as a customer”
This is a budget price hotel in a good location for the city centre the staff were polite and helpful and the whole place was generally clean though carpets and curtains looked a little tired. The Shower was superb better than mine at home and the breakfast was ok, there was good choice but we sat just 15 minutes before closing so it could have been excellent when fresh

Not cleaned properly!”
Hairs all over when we checked into the room! On the floor , especially when you bare foot and climb into bed, we saw long hairs brought from the floor.....as well as in the bathroom which was without the small floor towel. The single beds are simply too small!!! Ibis style and standard.....except this is an expensively priced hotel!

Good stay”
The room is spacious and the staffs are friendly. It's far from bus station but near to train station. I had a hard time looking for this hotel because they didn't turn up their light at night.

Value for money ”
Located near train station, getting bus to town, university and harbourfront are very easy. We took train to Bath after 1 night staying. Hotel allowed us to store our luggage in order to drop by Bath for few hours visit. Picked up our luggage before taking train back to London. Convenience!

It's neat and nice and the staff is very friendly and efficient. Good location as well”
Nice beds, clean bathrooms, friendly staff, not too far from city center, rather nice bar/restaurant downstairs. Very convenient

Accessibility and price”
Close to station. To city centre: just have to walk for 20mins, or can just take bus or uber instead. For me, the price should be a little bit cheaper or they could include the breakfast

If it wasn’t for....”
...the toilet seat being dirty and the inside of it with ‘skidmarks’ upon entering the room after check-in, the sink not having been cleaned after the first night, the puddle of condensation water every morning on the table (which I was lucky for not having left my laptop on), the kettle needing descaling, and all the “dust angels” hanging from the ceiling directly above the header of the bed, even with not being bothered too much about the running up and down the corridors and banging of doors in the middle of the night, it truly would have been great. Otherwise it was very nice of the receptionist to offer me ‘breakfast or a drink’ at checkout when I told her.
