Amazing value for money!”
My wife and I stayed one night at Ibis Budget on our way through Auckland. We initially selected it because of the price and location, and it certainly delivered on both and more! The room was not massive but contained everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. I would highly recommend Ibis Budget to anyone looking for a good value hotel in central Auckland.

Quck one night stay”
I was in Auchland CBD for one night only to catch up with friends for a night out. I left bookinng a room till the last minute so did not havve a lot of time to research all different hotels. I was catching the trai into Auckland so needed a reasonably priced room where I could sleep for one night in a central location. The Ibis met all of these criteria. The room was exactly as it had been described and did not pretend to be more than it was. The bathroom was ok however, whilst I dont mind the wet room concept it was a bit annoying when the water congregated around the toilet. Not a big deal and for my one night stay this wasn't a big problem. I didnt avail myself of the food offerings in the hotel as preferred to go for breakfast in the great cafe right next door (the 10% discount was an added bonus). As we say in England, the Ibis does what it says on the tin and met my expectations superbly.

Great location, good value for money”
Cannot fault location - just off Queen St and close to everything including transport, supermarket, restaurants and retail. Hotel itself is absolutely fine - budget but clean and tidy. I get annoyed when people book budget places then proceed to complain about the things that cannot POSSIBLY be expected for the money they pay! It's ridiculous, and I'm sure most savvy travellers see through their pathetic 1st world ideals. If you want to stay in the middle of Auckland City with everything included then book a 4 or 5 star hotel - there are plenty available. And you will pay way more than the Ibis' rate. Ibis is fine - the bed was super-comfy, the place was clean, water hot and amenities adequate. I only rated it slightly down because the fridge in the room wasn't working. Otherwise it was great.

Coming home to Ibis Styles Hotel, Wyndham Auckland”
Staying at Ibis Styles Auckland is like visiting home for me. This is the third time I stayed in this same 20 Wyndham St located hotel, but they used to be known as Formule 1 in 2009, then during World Rugby Cup in 2011 they rebranded and known as All Season Hotel. Now, they rebranded again as Ibis Style. I thought All Season for a name of a hotel is such a good market positioning. I respect though the owner's choice for Ibis Styles. I wonder what will be their next name. But whatever this hotel's name will be, it's no secret that its staff from front desk to housekeeping and maintenance, they are all friendly and attentive to their customers. Warm, friendly, very accommodating that reflected so well for the hotel's image. Indeed this hotel has some style...a homey style!

"Great hotel, great location"”
i was very impressed with the quality of the room, with modern facilities,- sliding door onto a small balcony, full ensuite, tea and coffee making facilities, microwave, mini fridge and tv with remote control. the bed was comfortable and warm, with extra warm blanket just in case it was needed. the reception staff were all very helpful, both when checking in and out and also with advice on a variety of questions regarding auckland city. i will recommend friends to stay. the price of my room was mostacceptable.

A nifty little hotel that’s relatively great value for money. Just one down side. ”
It’s a great hotel if you only need a roof over your beard and a bed to sleep on. The moment you walk in you’re taken aback by the kitchen in the background while checking in and quickly realise this hotel used to be a cafe of sort. The check in process was relatively easy and quick. Rooms are tiny but great and perfect for one person travelling solo. A couch to sit on, a decent size bed, new aircon machine, and shower/bathroom hybrid. Just what’s needed, and it works. I was on level 17, one of the highest in the building. Unfortunately not high enough it seems, as although a convenient and great location all things considered, Unfortunately the Auckland city night life created some noise that was was audible even with the balcony door closed. Side note- the rooms have tiny one person balcony. A nice touch for smokers or anyone wanting fresh air. It was first time in Auckland and only one night, so might be different other nights. Would still highly recommend.

Great if you're on a budget”
We arrived in Auckland very late and didn't think it would be worth it to get a higher end hotel. We stayed at the Budget Ibis for one night only. The staff was excellent and helped us find a place to eat so late at night. He also told us about good places for breakfast. He helped bring out bags in from the cab, which he didn't have to do. The room itself felt a bit congested but there were good amenities available inside the room.

Value for money”
the hotel is right in the centre of auckland. by paying a little more than you would for a double room in one of the hostels in town you get your own room, bathroom, fridge, small kitchenette, tv, and openable windows which is an extra bonus!! the only problem at the moment is that there is only one lift working which is a real pain in the neck!! apart from that the staff are great and really helpful.

handy, basic, clean, cheap”
Overnighting in Auckland to catch a very early flight next day. Very good location, room was extremely small but clean and adequate. They do need to put in shower screens as bathroom floor got very wet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Early wake up call given on time and fixed price cab ordered.

Great value for money.”
A great price for a room in the heart of Auckland City. A cosy room that would be cramped if any more than one person stayed but it was ideal for myself as a solo traveller. The room was clean and exceeded my expectations for the cheap price that I paid. A short walking distance to everything you could need, easy to get to from the airport on the Airport bus. Very happy with my stay.

Met our needs”
Really well placed hotel right in the centre of Auckland CBD. Easy to walk to many attractions and transport links. Room was nice and modern and clean just the usual small Ibis style of room.

Great Hotel”
the hotel was located at a very convenient location to the pier, bus transport centre and shopping belt. also there is fantastic view of the auckland tower from the room itself and from the balcony you can see the harbour. the room has facilities such as cooking stove, kettle, ironing board. the only setback was the costly internet services as there was no free wi-fi or free wired internet connection for guest use. other than then a truly great hotel for value for money.

Great Value & Location”
This would have to be the best value Hotel in Auckland. We just needed 1 night accommodaton which was within walking distance to the Harbour and this fit the bill perfectly. The rooms are small but had everything you would need with views of the city and a small balcony. There is a Nightclub either side of the Hotel but the rooms are fairly quiet with the windows closed.

Central location”
Overall, my stay at the Ibis was good. central location near Queen St. and the waterfront. There are lots of restaurants around. The rooms are small but comfortable, as usual in an Ibis. My only complaint would be the street noise. I was there on a Saturday night and the howling and yelling of drunken partiers kept going until after 2pm. Ask for a quieter room at the back of the building.

Great location but expect small rooms”
The location this hotel is in is fantastic. Right in the CBD, just off the main street of Auckland - Queen St. 2 mins walk to the harbour, shops and restaurants. Hotel staff were friendly and let me check in early as my room was ready. Expect tiny rooms but everything you need is there. I only stayed for one night and due to the small rooms I wouldn't want to be staying long term. It would also be ok but very "cosy" and "compact" for couples. Downstairs is a small cafe and seating area - the staff were kind enough to make my friends and I hit chocolate even after the closed. Overall very satisfied with my stay, cheap price but I wouldn't recommend staying long term.

A budget hotel but great location!”
This hotel is very conveniently located in the city centre, however if you are after luxuries this is not the hotel for you. The staff are helpful, however they failed to send my lost item back to me. The rooms are small but it is a budget hotel. the balconies are a plus, but again, quite small. The housekeeping was a little random and not always done. I do however recommend it for friends travelling and plan to spend time out of the room for most of the trip. The hot plates for cooking were a great idea, but no utensils or plates or cookware.

Convenient central location”
This hotel is very easy to get to with the Airbus from the airport. It is surrounded by all the fun amenities in central Auckland city and I could easily enjoy a night out during my staying here.
