The room was cleaned every day, changing towels.. breakfast poor, but croissant excellent. Bus station in front of the hotel, and metro just few minutes walk. Good connection for city tour. All in all, super!
It takes about a 15-minute walk from the subway. The town is a bit dirty, and I think it can be scary to be alone at night. The receptionist was kind. The room was sufficient and clean. There was no smell of cigarettes or anything like that. There was no hairdryer or refrigerator. They made the bed and changed the towels every night. Given this price, the service is quite satisfactory.

It is located in an area far from tourist attractions, a place often described negatively as having many immigrants and low-income individuals. However, since the station and bus stops are nearby, there shouldn't be any issues for those who can be vigilant. Next door is a large Carrefour, and there is also a coin laundry within walking distance. I thought the room was spacious and very comfortable compared to other ibis budgets, but... The shower room is of the type without a door, and it tends to get quite wet. That's one thing, but not having a hairdryer available for rent was a significant drawback. Other ibis budgets usually have deposits and offer rentals, but this one does not. It might be tough for those with long hair or in winter. I would appreciate it if they could improve this. If they only had hairdryers for rent, it would have been very convenient and comfortable.

When we were dropped off by our Uber driver, we were told to be careful because there were a lot of pickpockets in the area. The hotel itself was pretty nice. All basic amenities were offered. The room was good. They didn't have an electric kettle in the room thought but when we asked for hot water, the front desk told us that a microwave was available for use on the first floor. From Saturdays to Mondays there's a huge flea market in front of the hotel so there were a lot of people which made sense to be wary of pickpockets. Whenever we were coming back late at night, we chose to travel via bus instead of the subway because the subway stop gets pretty rowdy at night. Other than that, if you don't mind the hour long commute to the city, the hotel is a good no frills option. Just be careful.

Although the hotel itself was clean and majority of the staff were very helpful, the lack of basic amenities offered made this experience very miserable. There was no mini fridge in the room to store water or drinks, no kettle, tea bags or instant coffee offered. Any snacks or tea/coffee had to be BOUGHT from the vending machine downstairs. I also ordered a takeaway in the evening for me and my young child and was told that the hotel does not offer cutlery as the breakfast restaurant was closed so there was nothing they could do. Room itself was clean as well as the bathroom. Did not like the design of the shower however as water went absolutely everywhere!!! The location is good, very close to the Metro and loads of local shops, but outside the hotel was incredibly dirty. Although out of the hotels control which I understood. it was not very nice walking out everyday and having my young child see a bunch of homeless families living out of their cars in front of the hotel. It was very sad to see. Overall I would not recommend this place for families, not even for a quick trip. Maybe solo travellers who don’t plan to do anything but sleep would benefit from staying here more.
