“Close to Twin Towers but not much to do other than that”
It’s a famous chain of hotels and the rooms quality are at a certain level as well. Nothing to say much, apart from it being close to KLCC so you can literally just walk your way there anytime (it will take you about 10-15 mins). The reception staff was doing their job as they should, but their attitude was cold. I’ve been to many hotels around the world with less stars and the staff there was way friendlier and they always wore a smile on their faces. So I guess the stars rating of this hotel doesn’t say much about how you will be treated as a customer. But one thing I wanted to note down is that besides the reception staff, the security guards and especially the luggage keeper were extremely friendly and helpful! Even though they didn’t speak English much, they did everything possible to help us, even called the other staff who spoke English better to help us :) in the end, we got the information we needed, which helped us save a lot of money. The luggage keeper deserves a raise please! He was the only smiling staff at the hotel! Overall, it’s a good place to stay if you prefer to just enjoy your time alone (no one will ever talk to you, even when you check out you just drop your key card in the box and go away like you’ve never been there lol). The pool is fine, not too big but the view from above is great. There were not much people at the pool when we visited so it was comfortable enough to take pictures and have a good swim. This hotel will be one of the options I will consider if I decide to visit KL next time. Oh and one more thing! If you like visiting night markets then this hotel will be far away from all of them. You will have to take a taxi (as KL MRT doesn’t accept visa card payments) to and from there. You may choose a hotel closer to the night markets if you want to spend most of your time immersing yourself in local culture :)
