This comfortable hotel is excellent value for money close to Heathrow. The hotel is a little less than two kilometers from Heathrow Terminals 1, 2, and 3, and the Hotel Hoppa H6 runs to and from the hotel every 20 minutes for a small fee. Wireless Internet access is available at the hotel on request, an extra that is much appreciated by corporate travelers. The on-site La Table Restaurant serves buffets of traditional cuisine and hot snacks are available at the bar 24 hours a day - a blessing for travelers arriving or departing in the middle of the night. Ibis London Heathrow Airport Hotel promises a touch of comfort and a whole lot of convenience close to the airport.
"Great hotel, great rooms, great food, easy check in and out."

Highly recommended. You can reach the hotel from airport by local bus (free of charge) or Hoppa H6 with 5 pounds per person. I brought my mama for holiday and we stay there on the last day before we return to Malaysia. Quite a big space for us to do packing for 3 big luggage.
I'd stay here again in a heartbeat”
I stayed at Ibis for 3 nights for an extended rest layover between a work trip and home. The staff were all competent & friendly. The front desk staff met me before I got to the front desk, asked my name, put it in their phone, and I was checked in. The lobby/restaurant area is spacious and has a nice atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is fantastic, and Ronica was delightful, welcoming, and helpful every day at breakfast. Renato was outstanding at lunch and dinner. After my first meal, he recognized me with a smile, remembered my preferences, and made sure that everything was just right. The room & bathroom were clean and comfortable. A small hot water pot was provided along with coffee and tea, and there was a desk where I could work. A maintenance man came to my room the first day to change a light bulb, and even he recognized and greeted me when we passed in the hall on following days. I'll be back! Uber costs: LHR>Ibis (late Sat night): £20; Ibis>LHR: £6 (Tues late morning)
Tatty, old and dirty”
Really bad to see how Ibis save money on towels to squeeze their profits in. Towels look disgusting. They are also doing well cutting the cost of training and teaching English to their staff. How on earth these cleaners can work to British standards, cleaning toilets and rooms, when they don't speak a word of the language? They are renovating: laughable !!! all they're doing is giving the rooms a lick of paint, but the showers seem to be new. The all place, apart from the ground floor, looks like a setting from Victorian England, with layers upon layers of paint... and they're doing it again ! :) The carpets, my god, make sure you have shoes on at all times. Ibis need to do better
Bring your dictionary along...”
... and clean towels, if you're planning to stay here. The chambermaid on my floor did not understand English and very casually entered my room despite the 'Do not disturb' sign. Went downstairs to complain to duty manager, had to because the phone wouldn't work, he just told me most of the cleaners do not speak English, in London that is ! The carpet looks disgustingly dirty and so do the towels, what else? Ah the air-conditioning doesn't work as it should and last week got a room that smelt of urine. Great ! No wonder it's so cheap
I stayed for 1 night, before an early flight from Heathrow. Easy access on London busses from the airport terminal... Room was small, but clean and tidy - if I was being picky, I would say the bathroom lighting is not bright enough and you can hear some aircraft noise. Staff both at reception and restaurant were friendly, however I found the breakfast price £10 a bit steep for what was on offer!
This is a smashing hotel in a great location for LHR. The rooms are perfectly adequate and comfortable before flying the next day. Excellent buffet breakfast . Very good regular shuttle bus service to the airport. Good value for money
Lively atmosphere and great service”
Surprisingly lively atmosphere in the reception/restaurant/bar area made a nice buzz, in contrast to the typical dreary airport hotel. Facilities seemed new and well maintained. Staff were friendly and attentive. Service exceeded expectations.
Local free bus direct to the bus
Good place for transit”
I was approached by one of the staff when I entered the hotel and I gave my name and he checked in the system and said I haven't paid. I was shocked so I showed him my receipt. Luckily I printed my receipt just in case something like this happened. A senior staff was then referred to and told the staff that agoda's guests usually have paid up all bills right after any bookings. I was told by the senior staff that the staff that approached me earlier was a trainee. I think any trainee should be trained to double check their system properly especially when it comes to sensitive things like payments.
Small basic room on bus routes, near Heathrow, busy lobby bar”
Basics only small clean quiet (good insulation) room near Heathrow Airport. Only minuses were very limited food due to lobby bar only + no shops within walking distance. Also only chair in bedroom plastic with no wheels & very uncomfortable to sit in. People use their computers should have a comfy work chair.
Another good stay”
Our regular Heathrow stop over and as good as ever.
Nice location ”
The place seemed nice had a pool table which was great fun not seen this in a hotel before. There is a bowling alley next door. They cook a great sour dough pizza Well worth the money here
Good enough for a short stay if you need to be near the airport for an early morning flight. The rooms and toilets looked a little old, and there was cigarette smell in the toilet if my non-smoking room which might have come in through the vents.
a little far away from the airport”
clean, tidy, friendly staffs. everything is great except the location. it needs 10 minute to wait for a bus and the bus takes 10 minutes to the hotel. then take 8 minutes walk to the hotel.. if you have heavy bag and would go buy bus, not a good way.
Basic but Nice near Heathrow.”
I needed one night for an early morning car drop off and travel into London. The Ibis is a good economical option right next to the Avis depot. As you would expect for a chain hotel - modest but comfortable rooms, clean bathroom etc. The Fifi was pretty awful and the AC never really got very warm. Parking is extra (12 GBP overnight) as was breakfast (I thought it was included. It met the need but all very functional. Good check in staff although other staff had that gloomy, resentful East European attitude I've come to expect in UK hotels .
We only stay 1 night for transit flight. But overall we were happy with the hotel. Location wise, close to Heathrow. Easy access by taxi and shuttle bus. Room is neat and clean. Check in was a breeze. Buffett breakfast was good too.
Ideal in every way, bed was very comfortable. Staff were courteous, couldn't find fault in anything.”
Ease of location, comfort and staff all made this a perfect stay. Tip take a taxi back to airport, not the Hotel Hoppa, same price for 2 people and you don't have to wait, the Hoppa failed to arrive on time when going to the hotel which was frustrating. But not the hotels fault of course
I stayed here the night before my flight home to Australia. The staff completely exceeded my expectations and for the first time in 2 weeks I felt right at home and I was welcomed warmly. They made organising my airport transfer in the early hours of the morning a total breeze and even gave me a free drink card. I stayed at home crappy places in the middle of London during my stay, but I can honestly say when I come back I will be staying at this hotel for the duration of my next visit to England, I don't care how long or how much it will cost me to travel each day, it is completely worth it. Thank you so much to all the staff involved!!
A pleasant overnight stay”
Easy check in, an enjoyable dinner and a good night's sleep. Availability of a car and driver to take us to collect our rental car was very useful. We have stayed here twice now after arriving from the far east to get a good night rest before driving to Somerset, and will continue to do so.
It was a wonderful hotel..cozy and nice ”
We were glad to stay here. We spent a night here and next day we visit Windsor Castle not very far from here. The hotel were clean and cozy .....simple and nice design. All staff were very friendly and helpful. I feel that the hotel is more likely better than a 3 star hotel. Well....i strongly recommended staying in this hotel....and would come again soon!
